내열 내식용 Cr-Al반강자성계 스핀밸브막의 거대자기저항 효과 (Giant Magnetoresistance of Antiferromagnetic Cr-Al based Multilayer Spin-Valve with Anti-Corrosion and Thermal Stability)

  • 반강자성 Cr86Al14계 스핀밸브막의 자기특성과 내열 내식성에 대해 연구하엿다. Cr86Al14스핀밸브막의 자기적성질은 강자성층, 자성층 및 비자성층두께에 의존하였으며, glass/Cr86Al14(600$\AA$)/Ni81Fe19(50$\AA$)/Cu(40$\AA$)/Ni81Fe19(40$\AA$)구조에서의 교환결합자장(Hex)은 20 Oe, 자기저항비(MR ratio (%))는 2%를 나타내었다. Cr96Al14 및 Fe50Mn50 스핀밸브막은 annealing온도가 증가함에 따라 모두 Hex 및 MR비가 감소하는 경향을 나타내엇으나 FeMn막에 비해 CrAl막이 우수하여, FeMn막은 15$0^{\circ}C$, CrAl막은 25$0^{\circ}C$에서 Hex 및 MR비값을 상실하였다. 또한 가혹한 환경에서의 스핀밸브막의 부식저항성을 평가하고자 35$^{\circ}C$,90% 습도상태의 챔버내에서 Hex와 MR비값의 변화를 관찰한 결과 CrAl막의 경우에는 Hex 및 MR비 값이 시간이 경과해는 변화지 않았으나, FeMn막은 15일정도 경과하자 거의 상실하는 결과를 나타냈다. SEM관찰결과 FeMn막은 pitting이 나타났으며 15일정도 경과후에는 박리가 발생하였다.

원전용 안전등급 밸브의 현장 폐쇄기밀시험 기술에 대한 연구 (Research on the on-site Seat Test Technology for the nuclear safety related valves)

  • The seat leakage test is required after the maintenance work on the valve seat. Either the test has been performed outside of the plant after cutting the valve from the pipe system or the simplified test has been performed so far. It was unable to perform the test at the plant site because it is hard to make a steady pressure on the valve inlet when it is installed in the pipe. This research aims to perform the leakage test in the nuclear power plant while it is installed in the pipe system. The mock-up test is performed by pressurizing the leak-off pipe on the valve body. The result is compared with traditional test result by pressurizing the valve inlet. Furthermore the chamber mock-up tests are performed under various conditions. The leak rate by the developed test using the leak-off pipe is found to be similar but greater than the leak rate by the existing test method. It implies that the test using the leak-off pipe is more conservative than the existing test. The methodology and the equipment which this paper suggests that on-site seat test is possible and the application of the technology could reduce the time and cost for the valve maintenance work significantly.

VSC 유압유닛의 압력 추정기 및 제어기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimator and Controller Design of VSC Hydraulic Unit)

  • This paper presents modeling and ostimator/controller design for the hydraulic system in Vehicle Stability Control(VSC) system. A nonlinear mathematical model of the VSC hydraulic system is proposed and its accuracy is experimentally verified. A brake pressure estimator is then designed based on the derived mathematical model of VSC hydraulic system. And a disturbance observer, which compensates the estimation error between the brake pressure and the computed brake pressure is also designed to enhance the accuracy of the estimator. The proposed controller has the form of a feedback controller and determines explicitly the on/off ratio of valves' driving PWM signals by means of making use of the simplified mathematical model in the VSC hydraulic system. The performance of the designed controller whose feedback signal is generated by the brake pressure estimator is validated through experimental results.

Modelling of Optimum Design of High Vacuum System for Plasma Process

  • Electronic devices used in the mobile environments fabricated under the plasma conditions in high vacuum system. Especially for the development of advanced electronic devices, high quality plasma as the process conditions are required. For this purpose, the variable conductance throttle valves for controllable plasma employed to the high vacuum system. In this study, we analyzed the effects of throttle valve applications on vacuum characteristics simulated to obtain the optimum design modelling for plasma conditions of high vacuum system. We used commercial simulator of vacuum system, VacSim(multi) on this study. Reliability of simulator verified by simulation of the commercially available models of high vacuum system. Simulated vacuum characteristics of the proposed modelling agreed with the observed experimental behaviour of real systems. Pressure limit valve and normally on-off control valve schematized as the modelling of throttle valve for the constant process-pressure of below 10-3 torr. Simulation results plotted as pump down curve of chamber, variable valve conductance and conductance logic of throttle valve. Simulated behaviors showed the applications of throttle valve sustained the process-pressure constantly, stably, and reliably in plasma process.

  • 발사체 추진시스템에서 CC(Combustion Chamber) 산화제 개폐밸브는 액체산소를 연소기로 공급 및 차단함으로써 연소를 개시 및 중단시킬 뿐만 아니라, 정상운영 상태에서는 연소기 내 안정된 연소가 가능하도록 일정한 유량의 액체산소를 공급한다. 개발이 완료된 산화제 개폐밸브 EM(Engineering Model)의 주요 구성부의 성능향상을 위하여 전산구조해석을 이용한 중간플랜지, 밸브 입구의 립 부분의 설계 변경을 수행하였으며, 성능 시험을 통하여 설계변경에 의한 성능 향상을 최종확인 하였다.

  • 최근 초저온 밸브 관련 산업의 급속한 발전과 함께 초저온 밸브에 대한 지속적인 연구가 이루어지고 있고 특히, 기계, 조선, 반도체 및 디스플레이 산업, 항공 우주산업분야의 비약적인 발전과 사용자의 요구 등으로 인하여 초저온용 밸브의 고성능화가 되고 있는 추세이나, 진공 단열에 관한 초저온 응용 장비들에 대한 기술개발 및 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 초저온용 진공자켓밸브의 스템 외부에 자켓 배관을 설치 한 후 낮은 압력을 유지함으로써 외부로부터 자켓 내부로의 유입 열전달량을 감소시키는 것에 주안점을 두었고, 효과적인 전열 제어를 위하여 외부로부터 자켓 내부로의 유입 열전달량을 감소시킬수 있는 자켓 내부의 압력과 자켓부의 두께 변화에 관한 열전달 특성을 3차원 수치해석적인 방법으로 연구하여 고찰하였다.

Voltage Sags Impact on CAR and SOR of HANARO

  • The reactor protection system (RPS) of HANARO is a safety class system. The reactor is tripped by dropping four shut off rods (SOR). The SOR system consists of a SOR, hydraulic pump, hydraulic cylinder, solenoid valves and a power supply unit which has the AC coil contactor as a switching component. The hydraulic pump lifts up the SOR. The SOR drops by loss of the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic circuit at the occurrence of voltage sags or interruptions. From this experiment, we knew that the magnitude of the voltage sag which impacts on this system is 70V, 500msec. The reactor regulation system (RRS) of HANARO has four CARs which are connected to the driver through a magnetic clutch. The CAR drops by loss of electromagnetic force of the magnetic clutch when the deeper voltage sags to lower than 10V, 500msec.

  • In this study, an intelligent solenoid valve controller has been developed for automatic maintaining of filters in a dust collecting system. This controller has automatic controllability of solenoid valves' ON/OFF time depending on the clogging status of filters, and then it can extend the filters' lifetimes, decrease the power consumption, and make effective operation of the system possible. This controllability has been executed by the fuzzy theory that utilizes the workers' experimental knowledges, the control expert's knowledges and the differential pressures between the inlets and outlets measured by the sensors.

  • Butterfly valves are widely used in current industry to control the fluid flow. They are used for both on-off and throttling applications involving large flows at relatively low pressure-drop especially in large size pipelines. In this study, we carried out the structure analysis of the butterfly valve components according to pressure testing of the industrial standard. the numerical simulation was performed by using ANSYS Workbench. The reliability of valve is evaluated under the investigation of the strain rate, the leak test and the durability of the valve.

LPG 충전기용 온도 보정 시스템 개발 (A Temperature Compensating System for LPG Dispenser)

  • In this paper, a temperature compensating system(TCS) for LPG dispenser has been developed. A TCS includes a processor(80C196) with an AID converter. I/O port(82C55) and 6-digit vacuum fluorescent display. Based on encoding signals from the gas flow meter, different calibration values from each apparatus and temperature compensating values from the temperature sensor, the TCS controls the LPG dispensing quantity with switching on or off the solenoid valves. The temperature compensation is performed with analog-to-digital conversion of the temperature sensor. The resolution of temperature compensation is nearly $0.5^{\circ}C$ using 10-bit ADC. The field test of the TCS shows the exact temperature compensation.
