In this paper, we propose an object tracking system which can be convinced of moving area shaped on objects through color sequential images, decided moving directions of foot messengers or vehicles of image sequences. In static camera, we suggests a new evaluating method extracting co-occurrence matrix with feature vectors of RGB after analyzing and blocking difference images, which is accessed to field of camera view for motion. They are energy, entropy, contrast, maximum probability, inverse difference moment, and correlation of RGB color vectors. we describe how to analyze and compute corresponding relations of objects between adjacent frames. In the clustering, we apply an algorithm of FCM(fuzzy c means) to analyze matching and clustering problems of adjacent frames of the featured vectors, energy and entropy, gotten from previous phase. In the matching phase, we also propose a method to know correspondence relation that can track motion each objects by clustering with similar area, compute object centers and cluster around them in case of same objects based on membership function of motion area of adjacent frames.

The present code generation system, developing based on single system, Is not easy for developers or maintenance men to share pattern design information in distribution environment. So in this paper, we design and implement XML as basis of web environment, and JiKU/XML object-oriented code generator using pattern design. We use UML to change pattern design to XML code, and create code, suitable to PIML command, to generate design information designed by UML into XML code. This JiKU/XML Object-oriented Code Generator makes 10-step codes, and can be easily applied to web environment. It complements the disadvantage of present generator, F77/J++, and makes standardization of design because it uses UML and design pattern information. We compare it with present system by implement Eases, and as a result, generator suggested in this study gives more effective function.

This study aims to define the basic design elements of a sonic interactive object and relate them with the different metaphor types including physical metaphor, gestural metaphor, sound metaphor, and embodied metaphor that are reflected on the interface, gesture, sound, and embodied experience. It discusses how the concept mapping can be effectively done by utilizing metaphor and considering the relationships between the types of metaphor when designing a sonic interactive object. This study has a significance in the aspect that it expanded the area of metaphor to embodied experience and subdivided the types of metaphor including visual, sound, gestural and tactile information. Furthermore, it attempted to analyze the design elements of a sonic interactive object in relation to the types of metaphor. A researcher or a designer, therefore, can use this study as a reference to design concept mapping of a sonic interactive object, in a way that the design elements and metaphor types work together effectively to enable a visitor to recognize what they are expected to do with the object more intuitively.

Japanese coordinate noun phrases by the particle TO are often ambiguous on whether it means two parallel propositions (and), or a mutual case relation (with or against), as deep case structure. It was a hard problem to determine it, though they are widely used. We propose a method of solving the ambiguity by analyzing mutualness of verbs and adjectives. The mutualness is determined by three features of each verb or adjective. The first feature Indicates permission of mutual expression in the subject, and the second In the object. The last shows if a verb is voluntary. Using this method we design a parsing mechanism, where matching of features is represented as neutralization between predicate arguments.

In this paper, we work with steel circular tubes and propose analysis model which can consider local buckling that it has an effect on failure of steel structures and induce the relation between loading and deformation. First of all, in respect to axial symmetry local buckling, which is simplest case, elasto-plastic behavior acting only axial loads is object Therefore, it suggests analysis model for axial symmetry local buckling. And that is explainable the process from increasing internal force to decreasing passing maximum internal force. Besides, we induce the relation between the axial force and axial deformation.

Named entities (NEs) are important in many Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, and discovering NE-related relations in texts may be beneficial for these applications. This paper proposes a method to extract the ISA relation between a "named entity" and its category, and an IS-RELATED-TO relation between the category and its related object. Based on the pattern extraction algorithm "Person Category Extraction" (PCE), we extend it for solving our problem. Our experiments on Wall Street Journal (WSJ) corpus show promising results. We also demonstrate a possible application of these relations by utilizing them for semantic search.

This study examines how practical work in science was introduced in British schools and became an important part of school science activities during the second half of the 19th century. Firstly, the establishment of a national education system in Britain is reviewed. Secondly, a general development of school science teaching is summarized with a special attention to students' enrollment in science subjects. Thirdly, the practical work in elementary schools are discussed in relation to the introduction of Object Lessons in curriculum. Then, the situations of practical work in science in secondary schools, particularly in Organized Science Schools and some famous public schools, are illustrated. Finally, the overall development until present days is critically discussed in relation to the types and aims of practical work in science.

In recent applications, map controlled thermostat has been adapted to optimize engine cooling system and vehicle cooling system. First of all, this strategy is focused on improving fuel consumption rate and reducing emissions, especially unburned hydrocarbon. The object can be obtained through controlling engine metal temperature by varying engine coolant temperature with engine load and speed. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of engine metal temperature and heat rejection rate to coolant. From the results of tested engines, it is obvious that fuel consumption rate has more dominant effect on engine metal temperatures than the corresponding engine power does. Also, Re-Nu relation which shows heat rejection rate to coolant in function of air-fuel mixture and engine specifications has been studied. Also, the empirical Re-Nu relation at full loaded engine was developed.
