IPA 분석을 활용한 임상영양관리업무의 수행도와 중요도 연구 (A Study on The Performance and Importance of Clinical Nutrition Management Using IPA Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 IPA를 활용하여 의료기관에 근무하는 임상영양사의 임상영양관리업무의 수행도와 중요도의 인식차이를 조사하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 의료기관에 근무하는 100명의 영양사를 대상으로 분석하였다. 임상영양관리업무 17개 항목 모두에서 수행도와 중요도 인식에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 중요도와 수행도 인식의 차이가 가장 큰 항목은 영양사의 임상영양 교육 참여 및 관련 직무 개발 활동(1.38), 가장 낮은 항목은 치료식 식사제공(0.69)으로 나타났다. IPA분석 결과 중요도와 수행도 모두 낮은 임상영양교육 참여 및 관련 직무 개발 활동은 우선적으로 개선해야 할 항목으로 분석되었다. 이를 위해 영양사에 대한 내외부 교육이 필요하다. 마지막으로 임상영양사를 의료인 범주에 포함시키는 정책과 효과적인 치료를 위해 의료진과 영양서비스관리에서의 협진이 무엇보다도 필요하다.

보건소 영양사의 직무만족도가 조직몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Job Satisfaction of Nutritionist: Effect on Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention in Public Health Center)

  • This study examined the job satisfaction of nutritionists, and its effect on organizational commitment and turnover intention in public health centers. The response data of 174 nutritionists were analyzed. The overall average of job satisfaction was 3.94 out of 7 points, which was determined to be below 'normal'; however, the job suitability of sub-factors scored 5.26, which was more than 'normal'. The variables affecting job satisfaction that were provided by the respondents included job-related licenses (P<0.01) and co-nutritionists (P<0.01). Organizational commitment ranked 'normal' with a score of 4.35. Normative commitment (4.90) of the sub-factors was 'normal' or more, and differed when considering 'age' (P<0.01), 'employment status' (P<0.01), 'salary per year' (P<0.05), and 'working area' (P<0.05). The turnover intention was analyzed to be below 'normal' with 3.88 points, and the variables affecting turnover were significantly higher for subjects in their 20s (P<0.01), less than two job-related licenses (P<0.05), and less than two co-nutritionists (P<0.01). The four variables of job satisfaction, 'business discretion' (P<0.05), 'work environment' (P<0.01), 'job suitability' (P<0.01), and 'reward' (P<0.01), positively affected the organizational commitment. Moreover, organizational commitment had a mediating effect (P<0.01) on job satisfaction and turnover intention. Taken together, our results suggest that public health centers need to develop improvement plans for business discretion, work environment, job suitability and reward.

위탁급식 종사원의 동료관계가 생활의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Coworker Relationship of Employees on Quality of Work Life in Contract Foodservice)

  • This study examined co-worker relationship on of life between employees of contract foodservice in general hospital. Contract foodservice managed general hospitals surveyed from 1 October 2015 to 31 October 2015. A total of 230 questionnaires (cook-30 questionnaires, nutritionist-50 questionnaires, cook's helper-150 questionnaires) were distributed, and 177 questionnaires were used for the study. As a result, the quality of life of employees contract foodservice general hospital was composed of sub-factors (employee engagement, stress at work, home-work interface, working condition, general well-being). co-worker relationship was composed of sub-factors (cooperative co-worker relationship, competitive co-worker relationship). Causal relationship between variables was through regression analysis, and significant results were shown. ooperative co-worker relationship had an effect on employee engagement, stress at work, working condition and general well-being. competitive co-worker relationship.

재가노인들을 위한 무료급식소의 식단 평가 (Evaluation of the Menus of Free Meal Service Centers for Home-bound Elderly)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diet quality of the menus delivered by 17 free meal service centers for the low-income home-bound elderly in Chung- cheong buk-Do. Statistical data analysis was compleleted using the SPSS package program for descriptive analysis, T-test, and ANOVA. The meals offered by free meal service centers were not met the 1/3 recommended dietary allowances in calcium and vitamin $B_2$. There were significant differences between dependent variables(nutrient content, nutrient density, nutrient deficiency, NAR, MAR, food group intake patterns) and independent variables (operation type, operation status, operation period, nutritionist, food cost).

성인의 스트레스와 영양소 섭취와의 관계 (A Survey on the Relation between Stress and Nutrient Intake in Adults)

  • A survey was carried out to investigate relation between stress and nutrient intake in adults. There was a positive correlation between stress and food intake in adults statistically. It seems that women was significantly influenced by physical, psychological and nuerosensational stress than men(p<0.05). The average calorie intake of men was 1721.25Kcal(68.85% of RDA), the women was 1568.79kcal(78.44% of RDA). Intake of protein, calcuim, Vit $B_1$, Vit $B_2$, Niacin were quite less than the RDA in men, wherase intake of calcuim, iron, Vit $B_1$ were quite less than the RDA in women. In changes of nutrient intake by stress, men was increased as higher stress amount, but women was decreased as higher stress amount(p<0.05). It was lower level of nutrient intake in the below 60 scores of food attitude group that was needed improve of food intake and counseling of professional nutritionist.

  • The ratio of the Korean old aged man increase $4\%$ in 2030. As the growth of the old man over sixty-five years old, there needs a care Health specialist, care worker who helps different people in daily life. The old man welfare facilities are a medical doctor, nurse, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutritionist, social worker, and care worker. They constitute teamwork and effort activities of daily living and rehabilitation. According to Japanese care worker low; a research worker makes the care welfare programs from Article 1 to 26 that agree with the real state of Korea.

  • 시각 장애인들은 식품의 영양 정보 표시 부재로 인해 식품 섭취에 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황이며, 전국 등록 장애인 수는 고령화와 함께 지속적으로 증가하는 추세이다. 이에 따른 돌봄 인력 부족 및 돌봄 예산 증가가 예상되고 있다. 이러한 배경을 고려하여, 본 논문에서는 시각 장애인들에게 영양을 고려한 식자재를 제공하기 위한 과채류 수확 로봇을 개발하고 제공함으로써, 과채류 섭취 부족 문제와 돌봄 인력 부족 문제를 해결하는 것을 목표로 한다. 특히, 본 제품은 사용자의 편의성을 고려하여 음성 인식 기능을 도입하고, 사용자의 요구사항에 따른 권장 섭취량을 기반으로 수확 및 자율주행 배달 서비스를 제공한다.

한국 프로축구 선수들의 영양보충제 섭취 실태 (The Use of Nutritional Supplements in Korean Elite Soccer Players)

  • This study was done to investigate the use of nutritional supplements (NS) in Korean elite soccer players using an anonymous questionnaire. NS were classified into health supplements, manufactured health food supplements, chinese medicines & tonic foods, and nutrient supplements. Information was sought on the type of NS and factors that might influence supplement use including selected demographic parameters and health related variables. The data were collected from 241 athletes (aged $24.6{\pm}3.8$ years) in 9 professional soccer club. The prevalence of NS use among the subjects was 81.3%. Health supplements were used most frequently and nutrient supplement drug was the second one. Among the health supplements, weight/muscle gainer and calorie replacement product were most frequently used. Vitamin supplements were most frequently used among all nutrient supplement drugs. Users of NS were higher age (p<0.05) duration of exercise (p<0.05), and income (p<0.05) than non-users. The married (p<0.05) and a member of K-league (p<0.01) tended to have higher prevalence of NS use. The main adviser of NS were family (55.3%) and oneself (39%) instead of coach or sports nutritionist. Although NS use, only 26.2% certainly check up nutritional information on their used NS. Among the subjects, 84.5% of them felt that NS use were improved athletic performance, and 86.5% of them will to keep on taking supplement. These data suggest that a large number of elite soccer players use NS and these players may require education about healthy nutritional supplement practice and on the proper use of nutritional supplements.

역사적 고찰로 본 우유 음용 및 건강효과 (The Historical Background of Milk and Its Health Effect)

  • Recently some negative opinions on milk, for instance, 'don't drink, if you want to live long' 'people who drink milk life-long, they suffer from arteriosclerosis' or 'milk is not helpful to osteoporosis, because it's acid food' etc. are confusing the regular consumers who believe milk is one of the best food, although milk has been used for a longtime since it was proved as the most nutritionally perfect food by many scientific researchers and medical doctors. According to the contents of negative assertion, experiments were carried out mostly targeting western people who are eating bread with butter everyday and taking large quantity of meat & milk, probably 2~3 times more than asian people. So, the probability of suffering from many diseases like obesity, hypertension, arteriosclerosis etc. is naturally high. Therefore, comparison itself between westerner and asian is not reasonable because of quite different food culture and fat intake far less. Milk has been contributing to the health of human for hundreds years supplying many nutrients, and this kind of contribution will last as long as humankind exist on the earth. However, milk is good source of many functional components, there are some people who can not drink milk. As a nutritionist said, milk is a kind of food, the only problem is quantity, people who can not digest milk can choose another and who want to drink milk, drink it as much as they need. That's all.

Nutritional approach to failure to thrive

  • Failure to thrive (FTT) is a term generally used to describe an infant or child whose current weight or rate of weight gains is significantly below that expected of similar children of the same age, sex and ethnicity. It usually describes infants in whom linear growth and head circumference are either not affected, or are affected to a lesser degree than weight. FTT is a common problem, usually recognized within the first 1-2 years of life, but may present at any time in childhood. Most cases of failure to thrive involve inadequate caloric intake caused by behavioral or psychosocial issues. The most important part of the outpatient evaluation is obtaining an accurate account of a child's eating habits and caloric intake. Routine laboratory testing rarely identifies a cause and is not generally recommended. FTT, its evaluation, and its therapeutic interventions are best approached by a multi-disciplinary team includes a nutritionist, a physical therapist, a psychologist and a gastroenterologist. Long term sequelae involving all areas of growth, behavior and development may be seen in children suffering from FTT. Early detection and early intervention by a multidisciplinary team will minimize its long term disadvantage. Appropriate nutritional counseling and anticipatory guidance at each well child visit may help prevent some cause of FTT.
