비소성 무기결합재를 사용한 무시멘트 다공성 식생콘크리트의 물리·역학적 특성 및 동결융해저항성 평가 (Physical, Mechanical Properties and Freezing and Thawing Resistance of Non-Cement Porous Vegetation Concrete Using Non-Sintering Inorganic Binder)

  • The physical, mechanical and freezing and thawing properties of non cement porous vegetation concrete using non-sintering inorganic binder have been evaluated in this study. Four types of porous vegetation concrete according to the binder type is evaluated. The pH value, void ratio, compressive strength, repeated freezing and thawing properties were tested. The test results indicate that the physical, mechanical and repeated freezing and thawing properties of porous vegetation concrete using the non-sintering inorganic binder is increased or equivalent compared to the porous vegetation concrete using the blast furnace slag + cement and hwang-toh + cement binders. Also, Vegetation monitoring test results indicate the porous vegetation concrete using the non-sintering inorganic binder have increasing effects of vegetation growth.

Evaluation of Seawater Resistance of a Non-Sintering Inorganic Binder Using Phosphogypsum and Waste Lime as Activators

  • In this study, using Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS), an industrial byproduct, and Phosphogypsum (PG), and Waste Lime (WL) as activator, non-sintering binder (NSB) which does not require a sintering process was produced, and the chemical penetration resistance was evaluated through a seawater resistance experiment. The result of the experiment showed that the inside of NSB mortar saw almost no influence from the ions in seawater due to its dense structure. Also, as it appears that only the surface reacts with ions in seawater while spreading inward is suppressed, the high seawater resistance of NSB could be confirmed.

  • This study evaluated the effects of fibers on the void ratio, compressive strength and repeated freezing and thawing resistance of porous vegetation concrete with binder type (non-sintering inorganic binder and blast furnace slag cement) and natural jute fiber volume fraction (0.0 %, 0.1 % and 0.2 %). The natural jute fiber volume fraction affected the void ratio, compressive strength and repeated freezing and thawing resistance. Added of natural jute fiber resulted in improved properties of the void ratio, compressive strength and freezing and thawing resistance. Also, the both compressive strength and freezing and thawing resistance increased with natural jute fiber volume fraction up to 0.1 % and then decreased with fiber volume fraction at 0.2 %.

  • In this study, non-sintering cement is produced by only blending granulate blast furnace slag with phosphogypsum as main materials, and small amounts of hydrate lime or waste lime as activators. This paper was investigated physical properties of fresh concrete and hardened concrete using non-clinker cement according to various mixing ratio. Results obtained from this study have shown that concrete using non-clinker cement could be used for structural concrete and concrete 2th production as binder.

산업부산물을 이용한 비소성 고화제 혼합토의 역학적 특성 (Engineering Characteristics of Non-sintering Binder-stabilized Mixture using Industrial By-Products)

  • This study investigated the engineering characteristics of non-sintering binder-stabilized mixtures consisting of different ratios of a hardening agent(3%, 6%, 9%, 12%) for recycling industrial by-products through several series of laboratory tests. The hardening agents consisted of two kinds of non-sintering binders(NSB-1, NSB-2), which were developed by using inter-chemical reactions among blast furnace slag, phospho-gypsum, and an alkali activator. In addition, ordinary Portland cement(OPC) was used to compare the engineering characteristics of the stabilized mixture. An unconfined compressive test showed that the unconfined compressive strength increased with the curing time and mixing ratio. Experimental test results indicated that the 7-day strength of the NSB-1 mixture was similar to that of the OPC mixture. However, its 28-day strength was higher than that of the OPC mixture. The secant module of elasticity showed a range of $E_{50}=(42-109)q_u$ regardless of the agents. Based on the results of triaxial tests, the cohesion and friction angle increased with the mixing ratio.

PVA섬유를 혼입한 비소성 황토 콘크리트의 유동특성 및 강도특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fluidity Properties and Strength Properties of Non-sintered Hwangtoh mixed with PVA Fiber)

  • 본 연구에서는 PVA섬유를 혼입한 비소성 황토 모르타르 및 콘크리트에 있어, PVA 혼입율 및 비소성 황토의 치환율에 따른 영향을 검토하기 위하여 계획한 실험으로서 물-결합재비는 모르타르와 콘크리트 동일하게 50%, PVA혼입율은 0, 0.3(%)로 하였으며, 비소성 황토 치환율은 모르타르의 경우 0, 25, 50, 75(%), 콘크리트의 경우 0, 15, 30, 50(%)로 각각 4수준에 따른 모르타르 및 콘크리트의 성상을 비교 분석하여 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 비소성 황토의 치환율 30%, PVA섬유 혼입율은 0.3%를 사용할 때 강도 및 유동성, 소성수축에 의한 균열제어 등 양질의 콘크리트를 만들 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 향후 친환경 콘크리트 시공시에 활용이 가능 할 것으로 사료된다.

  • This Study is based on manufacture non-sintering cement(NSC) by adding phosphogysum and waste lime to GBFS as sulfate and alkali activators. This study also investigates the basic physical properties and duality of NSC, and evaluates its reusing possibility as construction materials. Therefore, we design 40MPa and 60MPa for compressive strength using OPC and NSC by binder. And There is a purpose to present fundamental data, applying in field and analyzing quality control of concrete using NSC according to rate of replace between OPC and NSC.

고화준설토의 역학적 특성과 식생 발아 특성 (Mechanical and Germination Characteristics of Stabilized Dredged Soil)

  • 본 논문에서는 준설토를 친수공간 조성과 같이 친환경적으로 재활용하기 위하여 고화준설토를 제작하였고, 역학적 특성과 식생 발아 특성을 분석하였다. 사용된 고화제는 고로슬래그 미분말을 기본재료로 고칼슘플라이애시 및 알칼리 복합 활성화제를 이용하여 제작한 고화제(Non Sintering Binder, NSB)이며, 비교 분석을 위해 포틀랜드 시멘트도 사용하였다. 고화준설토의 지반공학적인 개량 효과를 검토하기 위하여 유동성 시험, 단위중량 시험, 일축압축시험 등과 같은 다양한 실내 시험을 실시하고, 환경에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 중금속 용출과 식생 발아 실험을 실시하였다. 일축압축강도를 통하여 고화제의 함량이 증가할수록 모든 고화준설토의 강도가 증가하는 경향을 볼 수 있으며, NSB 고화준설토가 OPC 고화준설토보다 높은 강도를 나타냈다. 식생발아 실험 결과 OPC 고화준설토보다 NSB 고화준설토에서 발아 시기와 발아율이 우수하게 나타났다. 고화준설토의 pH와 7일 강도가 클수록 발아율과 발아 시기는 감소하는 경향을 보인다.
