In this paper, we propose an improved practical encryption and fault-tolerance decryption method using a non-negative value key and random function obtained with a white noise by using iterative phase wrapping method. A phase wrapping operating key, which is generated by the product of arbitrary random phase images and an original phase image. is zero-padded and Fourier transformed. Fourier operating key is then obtained by taking the real-valued data from this Fourier transformed image. Also the random phase wrapping operating key is made from these arbitrary random phase images and the same iterative phase wrapping method. We obtain a Fourier random operating key through the same method in the encryption process. For practical transmission of encryption and decryption keys via Internet, these keys should be intensity maps with non-negative values. The encryption key and the decryption key to meet this requirement are generated by the addition of the absolute of its minimum value to each of Fourier keys, respectively. The decryption based on 2-f setup with spatial filter is simply performed by the inverse Fourier transform of the multiplication between the encryption key and the decryption key and also can be used as a current spatial light modulator technology by phase encoding of the non-negative values. Computer simulations show the validity of the encryption method and the robust decryption system in the proposed technique.
The challenges involved with fatigue damage assessment of steel catenary riser (SCR) in the touchdown zone (TDZ) are primarily due to the non-linear behaviour of the SCR-seabed interaction, considerable uncertainty in SCR-seabed interaction modelling and geotechnical parameters. The issue of fatigue damage induced by the cyclic movements of the SCR with the seabed has acquired prominence with the touch down point (TDP) interaction in the TDZ. Therefore, the SCR-seabed response is critical for reliable estimation of fatigue life in the TDZ. Various design approaches pertaining to the lateral pipe-soil resistance model are discussed. These techniques have been applied in the finite element model that can be used to analyse the lateral SCR-seabed interaction under hydrodynamic loading. This study investigates the sensitivity of fatigue performance to geotechnical parameters through a parametric study. In this study, global analyses are performed to assess the influence of vertical linear seabed springs, the lateral seabed model and the non-linear seabed model, including trench evolution into seabed, seabed normalised stiffness, re-penetration offset parameter and soil suction resistance ratio, on the fatigue life of SCRs in the TDZ.

The present study is numerically investigated the flame structure of non-premixed counterflow jet flames using the laminar flamelet model Detailed flame structures with the fuel composition of 40% CO, 30% $H_2$. 30% $N_2$ and an oxidizer composition of 79% $N_2$ and 21% $O_2$ in a non-premixed counterflow flame are studied numerically. This study is aimed to investigate the effects of axial velocity gradient and combustion atmosphere pressure on flame structure. The results show that the role of axial velocity gradient on combustion processes is globally opposite to that of combustion atmosphere pressure. That is, chemical nonequilibrium effects become dominant with increasing axial velocity gradient, but are suppressed with increasing ambient pressure. Also, the flame strength is globally weakened by the increase of axial velocity gradient but is augmented by the increase of ambient pressure. However, flame extinction is described better on the basis of only chemical reaction and in this study axial velocity gradient and ambient pressure play a similar role conceptually such that the increase of axial velocity gradient and ambient pressure cause flame not to be extinguished and extend the extinction limit, respectively. Consequently it is suggested that a combustion process like flame extinction is mainly influenced by the competition between the radical formation reaction and the third-body recombination reaction.

Noises from the large scale marine propeller are calculated numerically on non-cavitation condition. The hydrodynamic analysis is carried out by potential based panel method with time marching free wake approach. The distribution of hydrodynamic loads on the propeller surface and noise signals are obtained using the unsteady Bernoulli's equation and the Farasssat's formula respectively. It turns out that the noise signal at the narrow band shows strong peak at the blade passage frequency, and the peak value at the 1/3 octave band also shows the same trend. Noise signals and directivity patterns for both the thickness and the loading noise are compared with each other. The directivity pattern for the loading noise shows minor lobe at the backward side of the rotating disc plane.

The torsional vibration of the propulsion shafting system equipped with viscous damper is investigated. The equivalent system is modeled by a two mass softening system with Duffing's oscillator and the vibratory motion is described by non-linear differential equations of second order. The damper casing is fixed at the front-end of crankshaft and the damper's inertia ring floats in viscous silicon fluid inside of the camper casing. The excitation frenquency is proportional to the rotational speed of engine. The steady state response of the equivalent system is analyzed by the computer and for this analyzing, the harmonic balance method is adopted as a non-linear vibration analysis technique. Frequency response curves are obtained for 1st order resonance only. Jump phenomena are explained. The discriminant for the solutions of the steady state response is derived. Both theoretical and measured results of the propulsion shafting system are compared with and evaluated. As a result of comparisions with both data, it was confirmed that Duffing's oscillator can be used in the modeling of the propulsion shafting system attached with viscous damper with non-linear stiffness.

An experimental study on heat pump cycle systematizing characteristics for non-azeotropic refrigerant mixtures of R-22+R-114 was reported. Data were obtained under steady state condition at the ranges of parameters, 550- 2, 170kcal/h, 670-2, 990kcal/h, 24-71kg/h, and 0-1, for as cooling capacity, heating capacity, mass 25, 50, 75, and 100 per cent of R-22 by weight fraction for R-22+R-114 mixtures. The results shown that the C.O.P of the 50wt% of R-22 mixture was considerably larger than for pure R-22 and other weight fraction of R-22 mixtures, but the compression power of the 25wt% of R-22 was lower than that of the pure R-22 and the other weight fraction of R-22 mixtures. The hightest value of cooling capacity was obtained at the conditions of evaporating temperature 5.deg.C and R-22 50wt% mixture. In general, with an increase in the R-22 weight fraction for fixed values of the other parameter, the cooling capacity increased at first, obtained a maximum, and then decreasd. This verified the importance of accurate weight fractions od refrigerant mixtures in the heat pump cycle.

This paper has dealt with the effect of non ionized surfactant and water mixture on drag reduction and heat transfer enhancement in a circular pipe flow with experimentally. The test section was consisted of stainless steel pipe with inside diameter of 16mm. The wire coil was used to increase heat transfer in a pipe and the on ionized surfactant(Oleyl Dihydroxyethyl Amino Oxide, ODEAO) was used to reduce the drag force of water mixture with surfactant. The main parameters of this experiment were diameter and pitch of wire coil and the ratio of test section length and horizontal wire coil length. In this experiment, the acquired results were 1) Drag reduction effect existed in this ODEAO-water mixture, 2) Friction factor and heat transfer were increased with insertion the heat transfer enhancement coil, 3) With increasing of pitch ratio, heat transfer was decreased, and 4) Heat transfer was decreased by the decreasing of inserting coil diameter.
A particle method, recognized as one of gridless methods, has been developed to investigate non-linear free-surface motions interacting with structures. This method is more feasible and effective than conventional grid methods for solving flow fieldswith complicated boundary shapes. The method consists of particle interaction models representing pressure gradient, diffusion, incompressibility, and the free-surface boundary conditions without grids. In the present study, broken dam problems with various viscosity values are simulated to validate the developed method.
In the positioning algorithm of two-dimensional planar sensor array, the estimation error of time difference-ofarrival (TDOA) algorithm is difficult to avoid. Thus, how to achieve accurate positioning is a key problem of the positioning technology based on planar array. In this paper, a method of sensor reliability discrimination is proposed, which is the foundation for selecting positioning sensors with small error and excellent performance, simplifying algorithm, and improving positioning accuracy. Then, a positioning model is established. The estimation characteristics of the least square method are fully utilized to calculate and fuse the positioning results, and the non-uniform weighting method is used to correct the weighting factors. It effectively handles the decreased positioning accuracy due to measurement errors, and ensures that the algorithm performance is improved significantly. Finally, the characteristics of the improved algorithm are compared with those of other algorithms. The experiment data demonstrate that the algorithm is better than the standard least square method and can improve the positioning accuracy effectively, which is suitable for vibration detection with large noise interference.
