분산형 비점오염원 모델에서 단위유역 크기의 민감도 분석 (A Sensitivity Analysis of Cell Size on a Distributed Non-Point Source Pollution Model)

  • 분산형 비점오염원 모델에서 단위유역 크기의 영향을 검토하기 위하여 민감도 분석 연구를 실시하였다. 미농무성의 AGNPS 모델에서 변형된 AnnAGNPS 모델을 남한강 수계의 청미천의 지류인 응천 유역에 적용하였다. 10에서 200 헥타르에 이르는 다양한 단위유역 크기에 따라 유로연장, 경사, 토지 이용, 유달율 등과 같은 모델 요소와 결과를 분석하였다. 단위유역의 크기가 증가함에 따라 휘어진 하천이 단거리로 계산되기 때문에 유로연장이 감소하게 되고, 이것은 다른 어떤 지형 변화보다 모델 결과에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 토지 이용도와 토양 분포 효과가 제외되었을 경우, 단위유역이 클수록 유역의 최종유출구까지 도달하는 시간이 짧아져 토사 유달 부하량이 증가하였다. 그러나 이러한 영향이 포함되었을 경우, 단위유역이 클수록 적용 유역의 토지이용의 다양도가 포함될 수 없기 때문에 토사 유달 부하량이 감소하였다. 적용 유역은 토양 침식이 낮은 임야로 이루어져 단위유역이 큰 경우에는 임야 비율이 더욱 증가하여 유달 부하량이 감소하게 된 것이다. 적용 유역에서는 30 헥타르의 단위 유역이 가장 적합한 크기로 결정되었다. 강우 유출수량과 총질소, 총인, 생물화학적 산소요구량을 모델에서 예측하였으며 현장 측정치와 적절히 일치하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 모델 결과는 단위유역 크기에 따라 변하는 지형, 토지 이용, 토양분포 변이에 민감하게 변하며, 성공적인 분산형 모델적용을 위하여 최적의 단위유역 크기를 사용하는 것이 매우 중요하다는 결론을 얻었다.

BASINS/HSPF 모델을 이용한 화성호 수질보전을 위한 상류 유역 수질개선방안 연구 (Watershed Management Measures for Water Quality Conservation of the Hwaseong Reservoir using BASINS/HSPF Model)

  • HSPF model based on BASINS was applied to analyze effects of watershed management measures for water quality conservation in the Hwaseong Reservoir watershed. The model was calibrated against the field measurements of meteorological data, streamflow and water qualities ($BOD_5$, T-N, T-P) at each observatory for 4 years (2007-2010). The water quality characteristics of inflow streams were evaluated. The 4 scenarios for the water quality improvement were applied to inflow streams and critical area from water pollution based on previous researches. The reduction efficiency of point and non-point sources in inflow streams was evaluated with each scenario. The results demonstrate that the expansion of advanced treatment system within wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and construction of pond-wetlands would be great effective management measures. In order to satisfactory the target water quality of reservoir, the measures which can control both point source and non-point source pollutants should be implemented in the watershed.

새만금 유역에 있어 BASINS 적용가능성 검토 (만경유역 유출량을 중심으로) (Total Load Control System(TLCS) and Pollutant Loading Estimates from Watershed using BASINS)

  • After the legal foundation for the Total Load Control System (TLCS) process is embedded in integrated water management counterplan for 4 major river basins (1998), Kyunggido Kwangju City prepared the implementation plan of TLCS at first time. There is little difference between TLCS and TMDL(Total Daily Maxium Loading; U.S.A). TMDL is applied only when mandatory effluent limitations are not stringent enough to attain any water quality standard. But object of TLCS not only attain water quality standard at distributed watershed but also consider development of area at non-distributed watershed. For applying of systematic and consistent TLCS, we need to establish a system integrated watershed and point source, non-point source and assessed massive database easily. Now we are study on applicable possibility of BASINS on Korea, we think that BASINS's tool and many models are more easily apply to TLCS, so we recommend TLCS will be applied using BASINS.

식생피도가 식생여과대의 질소 및 인 처리효율에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Plant Coverage on the Treatment Efficiency of Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Vegetative Filter Strips)

  • In order to control the non-point source pollution, a vegetative filter strips (VFS) was set up and the site-monitoring was performed. The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of the plant coverage on treatment efficiency of total nitrogen (T-N) and total phosphorus (T-P) using vegetative filter strips. According to the results, it seemed that the treatment efficiencies of T-N and T-P were closely related with the plant coverage ratio. The results showed that treatment efficiency of T-P average 50% at higher than 50% of the plant coverage and 20~23% at lower than 50% of the plant coverage. Also, the treatment efficiency of T-N increased with the increase of the plant coverage ratio.

확률강우량을 이용한 AMC 조건에 따른 비점원 오염량의 변화 (Variation of Non-Point Source Pollution according to AMC Condition Using Probable Rainfall)

  • AGNPS model is applied in this study to analyze the changes of non-point source pollutant according to AMC condition using probable rainfall. Probable rainfall of H-dam area by Gumber's extreme value distribution is computed through frequency analysis for each return period. 35 coarse grids are subdivided into 134 find grids of finite differential network to analyze peak flow soil loss quantity and nutrients of study area and the modified CN estimation equation shows good result about rainfall events-peak flow relationship. And as the consequence of estimation of soil loss quantity for each rainfall event soil loss quantity shows 120%-170% of actual soil loss quantity Regression analysis for the observed and calculated values of flow T-P AMC has an important effect on nutrients concentration of outflow and it if found that the excessive fertilization under AMC III condition may cause eutrophication by nutrients because the range of increase of outflow concentration appears relatively high.

Effect of interflow and baseflow on nutrient runoff characteristics in agricultural area

  • The most common way of reducing non-point source pollutants from agricultural areas is the installation of reservoirs. However, this method is only effective for surface runoff of settleable pollutants. This study was conducted to estimate the effect of interflow, baseflow, and surface runoff on pollutant runoff in a small agricultural catchment. Runoff of organic matters, SS, and T-P were directly proportional to the rainfall variation, while ammonia and nitrate were inversely proportional to the amount of rainfall. The interflow and baseflow was only 46% of the total stream flow, but the nitrate load reached 78%. The interflow as a nutrient transport pathway should be considered for managing a stream water quality. It requires careful attention and appropriate control methodology such as vegetation to consider the influence by interflow. The reservoir as a dry extended detention pond (DEDP) has function of nutrient captor.

배수로 물 관개 벼농사의 비점오염원 경감효과 (Use of Drainage Water as Irrigation Resource in the Paddy Field to Mitigate Non-point Source Pollutants)

  • 본 연구는 농경지와 농촌마을로부터 발생하여 소하천으로 유입되는 비점오염물질을 경감시키기 위하여 농업간선배수로 끝의 논에서 배수로 물을 관개수로 이용하였을 때 수질정화효과를 살펴보고, 비점오염물질 정화를 위한 효과적인 벼 재배 양식을 탐색하기 위하여 수행하였다. 모든 벼 재배양식에서 하천으로 유입되는 비점오염물질이 정화되는 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 잡초의 건물량을 포함한 벼 재배양식별 총건물생산능력은 기계이앙재배에서 가장 높았으나, 무경운자연재배와는 차이가 적었고, 비점오염물질인 T-N과 $P_2O_5$, $K_2O$의 흡수량은 기계이앙재배 > 무경운자연재배 > 건답직파재배 순으로 높았다. 벼 전 생육기간동안 비점오염물질의 정화량은 T-N과 T-P, K 모두 무경운자연재배 > 건답직파재배 > 기계이앙재배 순이었는데, 기계이앙에 비하여 무경운자연재배에서 T-N 323, T-P 12, K 183 kg $ha^{-1}$가 더 정화되었으며, 건답직파재배에서는 T-N 68, T-P 0.7, K 16 kg $ha^{-1}$가 더 정화된 결과를 보였다. 기계이앙재배는 건물생산량과 비점오염물질의 흡수량은 가장 많았으나 관개 소요량이 적고 시비에 의하여 비점오염물질의 정화효과는 상대적으로 낮았다. 벼 생육단계별 비점오염물질정화량은 기계이앙재배의 경우 분얼기 > 결실기 > 신장기 순으로 높았으나, 무경운자연재배와 건답직파재배에서는 결실기 > 분얼기 > 신장기 순이었다. 벼 재배양식별 쌀수량은 기계이앙재배의 4,698 kg $ha^{-1}$와 비교하여 무경운자연재배는 13%, 건답직파재배는 15% 감수되었다.

Cost Estimation and Validation based on Natural Language Requirement Specifications

  • In Korea, we still use function point based cost estimations for software size and cost of a project. The current problem is that we make difficultly calculating function points with requirements and also have less accurate. That is, it is difficult for non-experts to analyze requirements and calculate function point values with them, and even experts often derive different function points. In addition, all stakeholders strongly make the validity and accuracy of the function point values of the project before /after the development is completed. There are methods for performing function point analysis using source code [1][2][3][4] and some researchers [5][6][7] attempt empirical verification of function points about the estimated cost. There is no research on automatic cost validation with source code after the final development is completed. In this paper, we propose automatically how to calculate Function Points based on natural language requirements before development and prove FP calculation based on the final source code after development. We expect validation by comparing the function scores calculated by forward engineering and reverse engineering methods.

A Simple Timeout Algorithm for Point-to-Multipoint ABR Service

  • The ABR point-to-multipoint connection is now playing a more important role than before. Many consolidation algorithms have been proposed to solve the consolidation noise problem and the slow transient response problem. But few timeout algorithms are proposed to handle the non-responsive branches for the multicast connections. Chen’s algorithm needs exchanging control messages between switches [9]. Besides, it may mistake a responsive branch as a non-responsive branch because of fast changes in source rates, which causes wrong information in BRM cells and may lead to network congestion and data losses in the responsive branch. We propose a simple timeout algorithm which can handle the non-responsive branches without exchanging message between switches. The timeout value for each switch is computed locally. Simulation results show that the proposed timeout algorithm can efficiently handle the non-responsive branches and utilize the available bandwidth within a small period of time. In addition, our algorithm could handle the situation when the source rates change quickly.

수위 변화에 따른 비점오염의 상수원 수질 영향 분석 (Impact of Non-point Source Runoff on Water Resource Quality according to Water-Level Changes)

  • This study evaluated the effect of water level of water resources on water quality in Ulsan. Two reservoirs, Sayeon Dam and Hoeya Dam, were selected and water quality of chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) were analyzed from 2012 to 2014. And the characteristics of precipitation were also analyzed for 70 years (1945~2014) because runoff of non-point pollutant was strongly affected by precipitation. As a result, water deterioration of Sayeon Dam and Hoeya Dam were affected in accordance with lowering water level. For example, the concentrations of COD and TN was negatively correlated with the water level when the water level of Sayeon Dam was gradually decreased in 2013. The TN concentration was increased to 1.432 mg/L from 0.875 mg/L while the lowest water level of Sayeon Dam was recorded 45 m in 2014. Additionally the concentration of COD and TN was sensitively increased with 0.213 mg/L/m and 0.058 mg/L/m on account of non-point pollutant runoff. It is indicated that hereafter a control of non-point pollutant runoff is the critical factors to maintain water resources because the contribution of non-point pollutant is expected to increase due to the frequent heavy rain events. Therefore, it is necessary to map out a specific plan for non-point pollutant control based on analyses of runoff characteristics, water pollution sources and reduction plans in water pollutants and to establish a water modelling and database system as a preventive action plan.
