  • The natural high productivity of temperate coastal waters in Korea can be used in advantage to reduce the feed costs for the cage-cultured marine carnivorous fish species. By using the night-lights methods an alternative of supplementary feeding strategy can be offered to the cage farmers and maintain sound environmental conditions that could enhance maximum sustainable yields. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of night-lights which shown positive results on feeding and growth in sea cage cultured rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli. The study showed that for the water around overhead illuminated sea cage, higher zooplankton density was observed at night than during the daytime. Increased amounts of for-age, evidenced by stomach content analyses were observed in the early evening, but decreased amounts were observed in the morning and afternoon. That is, feeding activities of the fish were most intensive from midnight to dawn. In a three month feeding experiment, the results showed that night-lighted groups were superior to groups with the highest feeding efficient. This study suggested that the evidence that night-lights superimposed on only day-lights enhance growth of rockfish in sea cages during summer and winter, with timing of exposure affecting growth of juvenile fish. The capability to control the feeding behavior of marine life via manipulation and external stimuli could considerably benefit the advancement of sea cage aquaculture in coastal areas.

  • We have selected 36 schools of a total of night high schools for boys and girls in seoul and measured intensity of illumination of the classroom, The corridors and the stairs that students study and live, with priority given to an illumination, a primary factor of environmental sanitation of school following is the result. 1. The maximum average intensity of illumination of the classroom is 93.2 Lux, and the minimum average intensity of illumination 39.5 Lux. Mean$\pm$S, is 59.03$\pm$22.8 Lux 2. The maximum average intensity of illumination of the corridor is 39.2 Lux, and the minimum average intensity of illumination 11.1 Lux. 3. The maximum average intensity of illumination of the stair is 11.58 Lux, and the minimum average intensity, of illumination 4.92 Lux, mean$\pm$S.D is 7.88$\pm$10.0Lux. 4. Schools with tile illumination facilities more than 50 Lux are 63.8% and less than 50 Lux are 36.2%. 5. Schools with 9-11 facilities of a source of light per classroom by a fluorescent lamp are the most as 30.50%. 6. As for the corridor, schools with the illumination equipment less than 10 Lux are 27.8%, are more than 10 Lux 72.2% 7. As for the stairs schools with the illumination equipment less than 10 Lux are 77.8%, and more than 10 Lux 10 Lux 22.2%.

  • In this paper, would implement a transceiver for the visible light communication that based on wireless communication driving technology for LED illumination-based infrared ray communication, and measurement analyzed a design error rate of a transceiver variable rate has made about distance change -2.5m. The error rate measured a voltage variable along illuminate change between switchable circumstances, which has illuminated insight and outright. Each analyzed and measurement on the communication distance errors along the differences of disturbance light between night and days. The LED module has implemented for number of 6 through illumination dimming in case of different values. Also, implementation for the system module of a VLC transceiver based on the infrared sensors which used feedback outcome value has analyzed with error rate.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and propose creative smart bags in emotional e-textiles using LEDs that inform smartphone users of motion-induced luminescence and ringing of cell phones. The LED light-emitting operation tasks produced in the study were applied to each of the three design smart bags, setting the five cases of luminance by a call initiated, absent phone, rejecting answering phone, texting, and motion-induced luminescence. In the male laptop bags of LED luminous images using wappen, 10 LEDs could be separated by a total of three pins to display the luminous mode, and all 10 LEDs became a total of five luminous patterns, including all that illuminate and those that illuminate randomly. E-wappen rendered the motif a strong sense of visibility and performed six roles on phone rings and texting. To develop a women's tote bag, we did a laser cut and attached the leather strips and placed 10 triangular LEDs to form a geometric LED e-textile. It provides the possibility of transforming simple design from traditional fashion into a more interesting and various smart designs. An entertainment smart bag using graphic design was constructed by applying a tilt sensor to look like a light in the night sky by shaking and moving the bag. The graphic design and composition of LEDs indicate that LEDs and fashion item are applied in harmony rather than heterogeneous, enabling them to be applied as fashion-oriented wearable smart products.

  • Based on the survey of the parks in Tai'an by questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation and in-depth interview, the paper analyzes the tendencies of visitors in modern landscape lighting design forms and methods from two terms: primary attributes and the preferences of artistic lighting design. To increase the safety of the parks is a pressing need for visitors. Visitors have a pressing need for increasing the safety of the parks' lighting and artistic quality. Most visitors think the parks' lighting has blind spots and the brightness is not enough. Visitors' night activities in the park will be insecure. As to artistry aspects, people prefer strong artistic style of lamps and lanterns to the common, such as ethnic style and animal image; Tourists prefer to use white light and yellow light to illuminate trees, because these colors make people feel more warm and amiable. This research provides basic data for lighting design of parks.
