Two marine ulvalean species (Chlorophyta) were collected from the southern and eastern coasts of Korea. One is morphologically characterized by usually unbranched or little branched ribbon-shaped thalli, fronds with spirally twisted basal portions and usually undulate margins and 1 (-2) pyrenoids per cell. The other has irregularly shaped thalli, undulate and dentate margins in the fronds, small macroscopic denticulations along the margin and (1-) 2-3 pyrenoids per cell. In phylogenetic tree based on molecular data, the two species nest in the same clade with Ulva flexuosa and U. rigida, respectively. These two Korean entities are identified as U. flexuosa and U. rigida, respectively, based on morphological and molecular analyses. This is the first record of Ulva flexuosa and U. rigida in Korea.

Oncaea prendeli Shmeleva, 1966 is redescribed here based on a specimen collected using a fine-mesh net in the epipelagic layer in the south sea of Jeju Island, Korea. The Korean specimen is generally similar to Mediterranean specimens in terms of morphological characteristics, but it shows a few minor differences in a slightly larger length-to-width ratio for the distal endopod segment of the antenna, a relatively shorter caudal seta IV, and additional ornamentation on the maxillule and maxilla. This species is distinguishable from the most similar congeneric species, O. tregoubovi Shmeleva, 1968, and three species of the genus Spinoncaea Böttger-Schnack, 2003 by the distal and lateral armature of the antenna, ornamentation on the female maxilliped, spine number on the endopod of leg 2, and proportional length of setae on the caudal ramus. Moreover, spine lengths on the exopods of legs 2-4 are proposed as new morphological characters for the identification of congeners. This is the first record of O. prendeli in Korean waters.

Only four species of leuconids have been recorded in Korea, all belonging to the genera Eudorella Norman, 1867 and Nippoleucon Watling, 1991. In this study, Pseudoleucon japonicus Gamô, 1964 belonging to family Leuconidae Sars, 1878 is newly recorded for Korean cumacean fauna. Also, for the first time, the male of the species is fully described and illustrated. The specimens were collected from the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the western sea (Yellow Sea) of Korea, with a rectangular dredge during 2007-2008. This species is characterized by the following features: the carapace has strong serrations on the antero-lateral margin and a pair of short oblique ridges on the side surface; the ridges begin near the end of frontal lobe and merge with the dorsal median carina; the appendages, such as antenna 1, pereopod 2 and uropod have a lot of simple setae decorated with a bundle of hairs at the end. The present study represents the first record on the genus Pseudoleucon Zimmer, 1903 from Korea.

Three species of Choreutidae, Choreutis atrosignata (Christoph, 1888), Choreutis japonica (Zeller, 1877), and Litobrenthia japonica (Issiki, 1930), are reported for the first time from Korea. The records of C. atrosignata and C. japonica are based on two females from Yeongwol, Gangwon Province and from the Island Chujado, Jeju Province, respectively. The latter species was obtained from two larvae collected on the leaves of Ficus erecta (Moraceae). Photographs and data of rearing the larvae are provided. The record of L. japonica was based on two specimens collected from the Islands, Bogildo and Wando, Jeollanam Province. The present data of L. japonica represent the first record of the subfamily Brenthiinae and the genus Litobrenthia from Korea. Distributions of two species C. japonica and L. japonica, previously known only from Japan, now extends to Korea. Habitus and genitalia of the species treated here are briefly described and illustrated, if possible. To sum up, the Korean Choreutidae comprises four genera and 10 species, nine in Choreutinae and one in Brenthiinae.

1997년 10월 경상북도 울릉군 독도연안에서 한국미기록 어종인 동갈돔과 (Apogonidae)의 Apogon cookii 2개체를 채집하였다. 이 종은 줄동갈돔 (A. endekataenia)과 유사하나 체측의 암갈색 세로띠의 수가 5개이며 꼬리지느러미 기부에 눈의 동공크기의 둥근 흑색반점이 있는 점으로 구별된다. 이 종의 신한국명은 "다섯줄얼게비늘"이라 명명하였다.

거문도 연안에서 채집된 해마속의 어류를 근거로 Hippocampus sindonis를 한국에서의 미기록종으로 보고하였다. 본 종은 등지느러미 기조수 15개, 가슴지느러미 기조수 14개이며, 10개의 몸통 체륜과, 37개의 꼬리 체륜 등을 가지는 특징에 의해 국내의 유사종과 구별되며, 국명은 "신도해마"로 명명하였다.

Lecanora muralis was found on the rock along coastal line during the field trip in Jeju island in 2006. Thallus crustose, placodioid, closely adnate, forming orbicular patches; upper surface grayish green, glossy; central lobes areolate, marginal parts plane, edges thin pruinose; lower surface ecorticate; apothecia sessile, lecanorine type, exciple dense and intact when young, and disc plane, but when mature, exciple laciniate, disc protrudent, yellowish brown to orange, $0.5{\sim}1.5$ mm in diameter; ascospores ellipsoid, simple, colorless, $12.5{\sim}15.0{\times}5.0{\sim}7.5\;{\mu}m$. Usnic acid and zeorin contained in thallus. This is the first record of this species in South Korea.

Flies of the genus Lispe are large, dark gray, and have well-developed palpi. Most Lispe species are found in damp sandy and muddy environments, such as borders of marshes, seashore areas, swamps, lakes, ponds, streams, and rice paddy fields. Both adults and larvae are predators of various small aquatic insects. Previously, five species of Lispe had been identified in Korea: L. assimilis Wiedemann, 1824, L. litorea Fallén, 1825, L. orientalis Wiedemann, 1824, L. patellitarsis Becker, 1914, and L. tentaculata (DeGeer, 1776). In this paper, we record a sixth Lispe species, L. consanguinea Loew, 1858, for the first time in Korea. The diagnosis and illustrations of this species are provided in addition to a key to the Korean Lispe species.

우리나라 서남부의 인천강 하구역에 설치된 실뱀장어잡이 그물에서 망둑어과 꾹저구속 Gymnogobius cylindricus 1개체(표준체장 49.9 mm)가 채집되어 한국미기록종 및 분포의 서방한계로 보고한다. 본 종은 머리가 납작하며 몸이 가늘고 긴 점, 등지느러미 기조수가 VI-I, 12, 뒷지느러미 기조수가 I, 11, 체측의 어두운 반점열이 몸의 복부에 도달하지 않는 점 및 꼬리지느러미 하방에 반점열이 없는 점이 특징이다. 본 종의 신한국명으로 "가는살망둑"을 제안한다.

Gynodiastylis platycarpus Gam$\^{o}$ is redescribed as a new record of Korean fauna and a key to the Korean species of the genus is provided. This species is characterized by a slender body, a small telson, and a 3-articulated uropodal endopod.
