알락명나방亞科의 1신종, Ceroprepes dorsomaculata sp. nov. 큰검은무늬알락명나방을 기재하고, 가는흰띠알락명나방 (Acrobasis rufilimbalis) 1종을 한국 미기록종으로 보고하며, 이들에 대한 성충, 생식기의 도해 및 생태적 기록을 정리하였다.

Eight species of Chironomidae (Diptera) which are new to Korea are described with illustrations. They are extremely rare species in Korea, as only one or two specimens have been collected since 1977 throughout the country. Microchironomus tener, Stictochironomus akizukii and Paratendipes nubilus belong to subfamily Chironominae, and the other five species: Diplocladius cultriger, Limnophyes minimus, Metriocnemus fulvofasciatus and Parametriocnemus stylatus belong to subfamily Orthocladiinae.

The Littorinid snail Littorina (Littorina) kasaka Reid, Zaslavskaya & Sergievsky, 1991, from Kandwon-do, Korea was recorded as new to the Korean molluscan fauna. Including the new recorded in this study, the family Littorinidae contained seven genera and 16 species in the Korean water.

Chelonaplysilla supjiensis n. sp. belonging to family Darwinellidae was collected from Jejudo Island, Korea in 2008. C. supjiensis n. sp. is closely to C. noevus in surface structure and skeleton, but differ in surface, sandy reticulation mixed with many spicule detritus. This study is a new record of genus, family and order in Korea.

An ichneumonine genus, Probolus Wesmael, is first reported from Korea with P.fukuchiyamanus Uchida and P. cyanogaster Jeong. The former is new to Korea and the latter new to science. A key to the two species, and their descriptions and photographs of diagnostic characters are provided.

농어목 비늘베도라치과에 속하는 Neoclinus nudiceps 1개체가 대한민국 서해의 홍도에서 2012년 6월 13일에 채집되었다. 본 종은 측선이 등지느러미 3~4번째 등지느러미 가시 사이에 이르며, 두부에는 2쌍의 피부돌기가 1열로 있고, 앞쪽 피부돌기의 끝부분은 6개, 뒤쪽 피부돌기의 끝부분은 1개인 특징이 있다. N. monogrammus와 형태적으로 비슷하지만 측선의 길이에서 차이를 보인다(N. nudiceps는 3~4번째 등지느러미 가시아래까지 vs. N. monogrammus는 6~9번째 등지느러미 가시아래까지). 본 연구는 우리나라 해역에서 N. nudiceps를 처음으로 기록하고 있으며, 새로운 국명으로 "짧은털비늘베도라치"를 제안한다.

돔발상어목 Somniosidae에 속하는 Somniosus pacificus 1개체가 2008년 2월 강원도 강릉해역에서 채집되었다. 본 종은 두 등지느러미 사이의 길이가 주둥이에서 첫 번째 새열까지의 길이보다 짧으며, 주둥이에서 첫 번째 등지느러미 사이의 길이가 전장의 45%를 넘고 몸은 전체적으로 잿빛을 띠는 특징을 가진다. 우리나라에서 처음 보고되는 본 종의 새로운 과명, 속명 및 종명으로 "잠상어과", "잠상어속" 및 "잿빛잠상어"를 제안한다.

국내 미기록 식물인 큰해오라비난초[Habenaria dentata (Sw.) Schltr.]를 경상남도 합천군 쌍책면과 가회면에서 확인하였다. 큰해오라비난초는 해오라비난초와 형태적으로 가장 유사한 종으로, 꽃받침이 꽃잎보다 크고 흰색이며, 입술꽃잎 곁갈래 가장자리에 얕게 갈라진 톱니가 있는 특징으로 구분된다. 새로운 국명은 해오라비난초에 비해 개체가 크며, 많은 꽃이 달리는 특징에 따라 '큰해오라비난초'로 하였고, 이에 대한 기재, 도해, 사진 및 유사분류군과의 검색표를 제시하였다.

한국산 털보잎벌레붙이속(Lagria Fabricius)에 속한 털보잎벌레붙이(Lagria nigricollis Hope)와 눈큰털보잎벌레붙이(신칭)(Lagria rufipennis Marseul) 등 2종을 분류학적으로 검토하였다. 그 중 눈큰털보잎벌레붙이는 국내에서 처음 보고되는 종이다. 각 종에 대한 검색키, 기재문, 진단형질 그림과 성충사진을 제공하였다.

A newly recorded species Caprella mutica Schurin, 1935 belonging to the family Caprellidae Leach, 1814 was collected from the East Sea, Korea. Caprella mutica is native to the north-east Asia but is a well-known cosmopolitan and invasive species in many areas. This species is morphologically highly similar to C. acanthogaster Mayer, 1890. However, it is distinguished from a combination of the characteristics of the head, pereonites 1-2, and gnathopod 2. In this study, the Korean C. mutica is fully illustrated based on the mature specimens and compared to C. acanthogaster.
