A New Robust Integral Variable Structure Controller for Uncertain More Affine Nonlinear Systems with Mismatched Uncertainties (부정합조건 불확실성을 갖는 비선형 시스템을 위한 새로운 강인한 적분 가변 구조 제어기)

  • In this note, a systematic design of a new robust nonlinear integral variable structure controller based on state dependent nonlinear form is presented for the control of uncertain more affine nonlinear systems with mismatched uncertainties and matched disturbance. After an affine uncertain nonlinear system is represented in the form of state dependent nonlinear system, a systematic design of a new robust nonlinear integral variable structure controller is presented. To be linear in the closed loop resultant dynamics and remove the reaching phase problems, the linear integral sliding surface is suggested. A corresponding control input is proposed to satisfy the closed loop exponential stability and the existence condition of the sliding mode on the linear integral sliding surface, which will be investigated in Theorem 1. Through a design example and simulation studies, the usefulness of the proposed controller is verified.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the design by using digital media the general hospital. The important result and advantage of the study are as follows; At first, applicability and maintenance of form and function design are enhanced and the digital media could be used for development of better and economical design. Secondly, the 3D CAD system useful for communication media and instructional tool for hospital planners and designers. Thirdly, fast and economical evaluation are obtained through the study of experimental simulation. Finally as a new tool in architectural field, the system helps to enhance the relationship between digital media and human. New concept and tools of hospital design are being developed in terms of its function, environment, and psychology. The computational design system should be improved for user friendly in the future.

In addition, we will design a new system for CCTV technology using k-means so that the CCTV can be efficiently operated in the center, and propose the problem to solve the problem.

  • The mount type HVAC control system is a type of an HVAC control system which is installed between a ceiling and ceiling boards of a room to control room temperature. Although the device is quite popular, design is conducted by a conventional way where engineering intuition and experiences are utilized. It is found that the design process is fairly inefficient and time-consuming because there are a lot of feedbacks. The axiomatic approach is used to investigate the design characteristics of the mount type HAVC control system and the Independence Axiom is utilized for the investigation. The Overall hierarchy is established up to the level of parts. It is found that the current design has many coupled and redundant aspects. The hierarchy is reorganized based on the Independence Axiom and a new design process is found. To exploit the new design process in practice, a design manual is made.

  • This article presents a proposed analytical methodology to determine seismic force-resisting system R-values for steel diagrid framed systems. As current model building codes do not explicitly address the seismic design performance factors for this new and emerging structural system, the purpose of this study is to provide a sound and reliable basis for defining such seismic design parameters. An approach and methodology for the reliable determination of seismic performance factors for use in the design of steel diagrid framed structural systems is proposed. The recommended methodology is based on current state-of-the-art and state-of-the practice methods including structural nonlinear dynamic analysis techniques, testing data requirements, building code design procedures and earthquake ground motion characterization. In determining appropriate seismic performance factors (R, ${\Omega}_O$, $C_d$) for new archetypical building structural systems, the methodology defines acceptably low values of probability against collapse under maximum considered earthquake ground shaking.

  • To check feasibility of SEWGS(Sorption Enhanced Water Gas Shift) system, conceptual design and sensitivity analysis of operating variables have been investigated based on a design program of two-interconnected fluidized bed. Based on the conceptual design results, the optimum configuration for SEWGS was considered. Among three configurations, bubbling beds system was selected as the best configuration. Process design results indicate that the SEWGS system is compact and feasible. Based on the selected operating conditions, the effects of variables such as pressure, $CO_2$ capture capacity, solid inventory, CO conversion and $CO_2$ capture efficiency have been investigated as well.

  • Conceptual system design of a multistage centrifugal air-compressor is the first loop of design procedure. The properly designed system is important for compactness, low manufacturing cost, easy controllability, fast extension for the new specification of the compressor. A simple procedure of conceptual system design is proposed in the present study using simple analysis. A few examples of the procedure for a real system are shown and several design aspects are discussed.
