  • In this paper, the learning algorithm called advanced expanded and truncate algorithm(AETLA) is proposed to training multilayer binary neural network to approximate binary to binary mapping. AETLA used merit of ETL and MTGA learning algorithm. We proposed to new learning algorithm to decrease number of hidden layer. Therefore, learning speed of the proposed AETLA learning algorithm is much faster than other learning algorithm.

  • The intent of this paper is to describe a neural network structure called dynamic neural processor(DNP), and examine how it can be used in developing a learning scheme for computing robot inverse kinematic transformations. The architecture and learning algorithm of the proposed dynamic neural network structure, the DNP, are described. Computer simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning using the DNP.

  • Recently, neural network methods have been studied to find out more valuable information in data bases. But the supervised learning methods of neural networks have an overfitting problem, which leads to errors of target patterns. And the unsupervised learning methods can distort important information in the process of regularizing data. Thus they can't efficiently classify data, To solve the problems, this paper introduces a hybrid neural networks HACAB(Hybrid Algorithm combining a Competition learning model And BP Algorithm) combining a competition learning model and 8P algorithm. HACAB is designed for cases which there is no target patterns. HACAB makes target patterns by adopting a competition learning model and classifies input patterns using the target patterns by BP algorithm. HACAB is evaluated with random input patterns and Iris data In cases of no target patterns, HACAB can classify data more effectively than BP algorithm does.

  • The key technology of the fourth industrial revolution is artificial intelligence and machine learning. In this study, FMEA was performed on fuel pumps used as key items in most systems to identify major failure components, and artificial neural networks were built using big data. The main failure mode of the fuel pump identified by the test was coil damage due to overheating. Based on the artificial neural network built, machine learning was conducted to predict the failure and the mean error rate was 4.9% when the number of hidden nodes in the artificial neural network was three and the temperature increased to $140^{\circ}C$ rapidly.

  • Sentiment Analysis has become very important field of research because posting of reviews is becoming a trend. Supervised, unsupervised and semi supervised machine learning methods done lot of work to mine this data. Feature engineering is complex and technical part of machine learning. Deep learning is a new trend, where this laborious work can be done automatically. Many researchers have done many works on Deep learning Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Shor Term Memory (LSTM) Neural Network. These requires high processing speed and memory. Here author suggested two models simple & bidirectional deep leaning, which can work on text data with normal processing speed. At end both models are compared and found bidirectional model is best, because simple model achieve 50% accuracy and bidirectional deep learning model achieve 99% accuracy on trained data while 78% accuracy on test data. But this is based on 10-epochs and 40-batch size. This accuracy can also be increased by making different attempts on epochs and batch size.

  • By advent of NNC(Neural Network Chip), it is possible that process in parallel and discern the importance of signal with learning oneself by experience in external signal. So, the design of general purpose operation unit using VHDL(VHSIC Hardware Description Language) on the existing FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) can replaced EN(Expert Network) and learning algorithm. Also, neural network operation unit is possible various operation using learning of NN(Neural Network). This paper present general purpose operation unit using hierarchical structure of EN EN of presented structure learn from logical gate which constitute a operation unit, it relocated several layer The overall structure is hierarchical using a module, it has generality more than FPGA operation unit.

  • In this paper, we propose HMCNN(hybrid multiple component neural networks) that enhance performance of MCNN by adapting new pattern partitioning algorithm which can cluster many input patterns efficiently. Added neural network performs similar learning procedure that of kohonen network. But it dynamically determine it's number of output neurons using algorithms that decide self-organized number of clusters and patterns in a cluster. The proposed network can effectively be applied to problems of large data as well as huge networks size. As a sresutl, proposed pattern partitioning network can enhance performance results and solve weakness of MCNN like generalization capability. In addition, we can get more fast speed by performing parallel learning than that of other supervised learning networks.

  • Unification of Kohone SOM(Self-Organizing Maps) neural network with the branch-and-bound algorithm is presented for clustering large set of patterns. The branch-and-bound search technique is employed for designing coarse neural network learning paradaim. Those unification can be use for clustering or calssfication of large patterns. For classfication purposes further usefulness is possible, since only two clusters exists in the SOM neural network of each nodes. The result of experiments show the fast learning time, the fast recognition time and the compactness of clustering.

  • The approach to predict time series without neglecting the fluctuation in a short period is tried by using a digital FIR filter and a neural network. The differential waveform of the Nikkei average closing price is filtered by the FIR band-pass filter of 101 length. It is filtered into the five frequency bands of 0-1Hz, 1-2Hz, 2-3Hz, 3-4Hz and 4-5Hz by setting the sampling frequency 10Hz. The each filtered waveform is learned and forecasted by the neural network. The neural network of the back propagation method is adopted in the learning the waveform. By inputting the data of 20 days in the past, the prediction of 10 days ahead is carried out. After learning the time series of each frequency band by the neural network, the predicted data far each frequency band are obtained. The predicted waveforms of each frequency band are synthesized to obtain a final forecast. The waveform can be forecasted well as a whole.

  • In order to minimize unstable flow occurred at a multiblade fan/scroll system, optimal angle and shape of cut-off was determined by using two-dimensional turbulent fluid field analyses and neural network. The results of CFD analyses were used for learning as data of input and output of neural network. After learning neural network optimization process was accomplished for design variables, the angle and the shape of cut-off, in the design domain. As a result of optimization, the optimal angle and shape were obtained as 71 and 0.092 times the outer diameter of impeller, respectively, which are very similar values to previous studies. Finally, it was verified that the fluid field is very stable for optimal angle and shape of cut-off by two-dimensional CFD analysis.
