신경회로망 학습이득 알고리즘을 이용한 자율적응 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Self-Adaptative System using Algorithm of Neural Network Learning Gain)

  • Neural network is used in many fields of control systems, but input-output patterns of a control system are not easy to be obtained and by using as single feedback neural network controller. And also it is difficult to get a satisfied performance when the changes of rapid load and disturbance are applied. To resolve those problems, this paper proposes a new algorithm which is the neural network controller. The new algorithm uses the neural network instead of activation function to control object at the output node. Therefore, control object is composed of neural network controller unifying activation function, and it supplies the error back propagation path to calculate the error at the output node. As a result, the input-output pattern problem of the controller which is resigned by the simple structure of neural network is solved, and real-time learning can be possible in general back propagation algorithm. Application of the new algorithm of neural network controller gives excellent performance for initial and tracking response and it shows the robust performance for rapid load change and disturbance. The proposed control algorithm is implemented on a high speed DSP, TMS320C32, for the speed of 3-phase induction motor. Enhanced performance is shown in the test of the speed control.

딥러닝을 이용한 광학적 프린지 패턴의 생성 (Generation of optical fringe patterns using deep learning)

  • 본 논문에서는 심층신경망(deep neural network, DNN)을 이용하여 디지털 홀로그램을 생성하는 신경망의 학습을 위한 데이터 균형 조정 방법에 대하여 논의 한다. 심층신경망은 딥러닝(deep learning, DL) 기술에 기반을 두고 있고, 생성형 적대적 네트워크(generative adversarial network, GAN)계열을 이용한다. 심층 신경망을 통하여 생성 하고자하는 홀로그램의 기본 단위인 프린지 패턴은 홀로그램 평면과 객체의 위치에 따라 데이터의 형태가 매우 다르다. 하지만 데이터의 분류 기준이 명확하지 않기 때문에 학습 데이터의 불균형이 생길 수 있다. 학습 데이터의 불균형은 곧 학습의 불안정 요소로 작용한다. 따라서 분류 기준이 명확하지 않은 데이터를 분류하고 균형을 맞추는 방법을 제시한다. 그리고 이를 통하여 학습이 안정화됨을 보인다.

동적 신경회로망을 이용한 비선형 크레인 시스템의 위치제어 (Position Control of Nonlinear Crane Systems using Dynamic Neural Network)

  • This paper presents position control of nonlinear three-dimensional crane systems using neural network approach. Such crane system generally includes very complicated characteristic dynamics and mechanical framework such that its mathematical model is expressed by strong nonlinearity. This leads difficulty in control design for the systems. We linearize the nonlinear system model to construct PID control applying well-known linear control theory and then neural network is utilized to compensate system perturbation due to linearization. Thus, control input of the crane system is composed of nominal PID and neural output signals respectively. Our method illustrates simple design procedure, but system perturbation and modelling error are overcome through a neural compensator. As well. adaptive neural control is constructed from online learning. Computer simulation demonstrates our control approach is superior to the classic control systems.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the dynamic control technique for track vehicle system using neural network-fuzzy control method. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based on independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The performance of the proposed controller is shown by simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a track vehicle.

  • Recently, neural network techniques are widely used in adaptive and learning control schemes for production systems. However, in general it takes up a lot of time to learn in the case applied in control system. Furthermore, the physical meaning of neural networks constructed as a result is not obvious. And in practice since it is difficult for the PID gains suitably, lots of researches have been reported with respect of turning schemes of PID gains. A neural network-based PID control scheme is proposed, which extracts skills of human experts as PID gains. This controller is designed by using three-layered neural networks. The effectiveness of the proposed neural network-based PID control scheme is investigated through an application for a production control system. This control method can enable a plant to operate smoothy and obviously as the plant condition varies with any unexpected accidents.

Deep Learning을 사용한 백색광 주사 간섭계의 높이 측정 방법 (Measurement Method of Height of White Light Scanning Interferometer using Deep Learning)

  • In this paper, we propose a measurement method for height of white light scanning interferometer using deep learning. In order to measure the fine surface shape, a three-dimensional surface shape measurement technique is required. A typical example is a white light scanning interferometer. In order to calculate the surface shape from the measurement image of the white light scanning interferometer, the height of each pixel must be calculated. In this paper, we propose a neural network for height calculation and use virtual data generation method to train this neural network. The accuracy was measured by inputting 57 actual data to the neural network which had completed the learning. We propose two new functions for accuracy measurement. We have analyzed the cases where there are many errors among the accuracy calculation values, and it is confirmed that there are many errors when there is no interference fringe or outside the learned range. We confirmed that the proposed neural network works correctly in most cases. We expect better results if we improve the way we generate learning data.

  • In this paper, the design and the implementation of the adaptive learning rate neural network controller for an articulate robot, which is being developed (or) has been developed in our Automatic Control Laboratory, are mainly discussed. The controller reduces software computational load via distributed processing method using multiple CPU's, and simplifies hardware structures by the time-division control with TMS32OC31 DSP chip. Proposed neural network controller with adaptive learning rate structure using expert's heuristics can improve learning speed. The proposed controller verifies its superiority by comparing response characteristics of conventional controller with those of the proposed controller that are obtained from the experiments for the 5 axis vertical articulated robot. We, also, present the generalization property of proposed controller for unlearned trajectory and the change of load through experimental data.

  • 본 논문은 차량 번호판 중앙부 위치값을 기반으로한 신경망을 이용하여 차량의 번호판 영역을 추출하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 임의의 숫자들로 정의된 표시영역에 대한 학습패턴과 넓은 범위를 수용할 수 있도록 한 신경망의 학습패턴을 이용하여 보다 효율적인 방법을 제시하였다. 학습패턴으로 차량 번호판 인식의 최적화을 이루었고 차량번호 및 헤드라이트 부분의 은닉효과와, 학습패턴의 확대 및 감소에 대하여 연구하였단. 위의 과정을 통하여 지하주차장에서 595여대의 자동차에 대하여 번호판 영역을 추출한 결과 98.5%의 인식율을 보여주었다.

전이학습 기반 사출 성형품 burr 이미지 검출 시스템 개발 (Development of a transfer learning based detection system for burr image of injection molded products)

  • An artificial neural network model based on a deep learning algorithm is known to be more accurate than humans in image classification, but there is still a limit in the sense that there needs to be a lot of training data that can be called big data. Therefore, various techniques are being studied to build an artificial neural network model with high precision, even with small data. The transfer learning technique is assessed as an excellent alternative. As a result, the purpose of this study is to develop an artificial neural network system that can classify burr images of light guide plate products with 99% accuracy using transfer learning technique. Specifically, for the light guide plate product, 150 images of the normal product and the burr were taken at various angles, heights, positions, etc., respectively. Then, after the preprocessing of images such as thresholding and image augmentation, for a total of 3,300 images were generated. 2,970 images were separated for training, while the remaining 330 images were separated for model accuracy testing. For the transfer learning, a base model was developed using the NASNet-Large model that pre-trained 14 million ImageNet data. According to the final model accuracy test, the 99% accuracy in the image classification for training and test images was confirmed. Consequently, based on the results of this study, it is expected to help develop an integrated AI production management system by training not only the burr but also various defective images.

뉴런의 생성 및 병합 학습 기능을 갖는 자기 조직화 신경망을 이용한 n-각형 공업용 부품의 중심추정 (Center estimation of the n-fold engineering parts using self organizing neural networks with generating and merge learning)

  • A robust center estimation tecnique of n-fold engineering parts is presented, which use self-organizing neural networks with generating and merging learning for training neural units. To estimate the center of the n-fold engineering parts using neural networks, the segmented boundaries of the interested part are approximated to strainght lines, and the temporal estimated centers by thecosine theorem which formed between the approximaged straight line and the reference point, , are indexed as (.sigma.-.theta.) parameteric vecstors. Then the entries of parametric vectors are fed into self-organizing nerual network. Finally, the center of the n-fold part is extracted by mean of generating and merging learning of the neurons. To accelerate the learning process, neural network uses an adaptive learning rate function to the merging process and a self-adjusting activation to generating process. Simulation results show that the centers of n-fold engineering parts are effectively estimated by proposed technique, though not knowing the error distribution of estimated centers and having less information of boundaries.
