자원기반이론을 적용한 기술협력 네트워크에서 보호 메커니즘, 관계학습, 관계성과의 관계에 대한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationships among Safeguarding Mechanism, Relationship Learning, and Relationship Performance in Technology Cooperation Network by Applying Resource Based Theory)

  • 기업들은 기술협력 네트워크를 통하여 새로운 고급기술과 지식을 내부화시키고 활용함으로써 규모 및 범위의 경제를 실현할 수 있고, 기술협력 네트워크의 파트너 기업과 위험과 비용을 분담할 수 있으며, 제품의 시장우위를 선점하거나 시장에서의 자사의 위치를 강화할 수 있다. 이러한 기술협력 네트워크의 이점에 근거하여 현재까지 기존의 관련연구들은 일반적으로 기술협력이 기업의 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는가에 집중되어왔다. 그러나 기존의 기술협력과 경영성과의 관계를 규명한 연구들은 단지 경영성과에 관한 기술협력 네트워크의 역할을 조명하는데 그친다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 연구들에서 간과된 기술협력 네트워크의 중간과정을 보호 메커니즘, 관계학습, 관계성과로 분류하고, 이를 자원기반이론의 일반적 구조인 자원, 역량, 성과에 각각 적용하였다. 실증분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 관계특유투자와 관계자본은 역량으로서의 관계학습에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정보교환, 공동의 정보이해, 관계특유 기억개발은 관계지향성에 긍정적인 영향을 나타내고 있으나, 정보교환이 효율성과 효과성에 미치는 유의성은 발견되지 않았다. 셋째, 관계특유투자는 관계자본에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있으며, 효율성과 효과성은 장기지향성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 비대칭적인 기술의존 구조를 형성하는 기술협력 네트워크 관계에서 자원기반이론에 입각하여 기존의 연구들이 간과하고 있는 보호 메커니즘, 관계학습, 관계성과의 역할을 규명함으로써 보호 메커니즘과 관계학습의 중요성을 제시하였다. 또한 협력 파트너와의 관계에서 기업의 어떠한 행동변화를 유발함으로써 관계성과에 도달하는가를 살펴봄으로써 보호 메커니즘은 기술협력 파트너와의 관계학습을 통해 관계성과에 영향을 제공할 수 있다는 점을 분석하는데 의의가 있다고 볼 수 있겠다.

  • This study investigates how relational activities within MNC network affect knowledge transfer and performance of subsidiary. We separated the possible relationships between headquarter and overseas subsidiaries by support level, interaction level, and conflict level, and compared the impact on knowledge transfer, and performance. To understand the knowledge sharing, development and performance, we use structural equation modeling to analyze data from subsidiaries in China.

  • High-performance concrete (HPC) is a new terminology used in concrete construction industry. Several studies have shown that concrete strength development is determined not only by the water-to-cement ratio but also influenced by the content of other concrete ingredients. HPC is a highly complex material, which makes modeling its behavior a very difficult task. This paper aimed at demonstrating the possibilities of adapting artificial neural network (ANN) to predict the comprresive strength of HPC. Mahalanobis Distance (MD) outlier detection method used for the purpose increase prediction ability of ANN. The detailed procedure of calculating Mahalanobis Distance (MD) is described. The effects of outlier compared with before and after artificial neural network training. MD outlier detection method successfully removed existence of outlier and improved the neural network training and prediction performance.

  • This paper analyzes performance measures of a Bluetooth_based mobile home network system. The home network system consists of terminals with Bluetooth interfaces, access points (AP), a home PC, and a gateway A mobile host in wireless terminals uses Mobile IP for supporting the mobility This paper considers four types of data traffic, which are new connection traffic, handoff traffic, Internet data traffic, and control data traffic and suggests a queueing system model of the home network system, where the AP and the home PC are modeled as M/G/1 with four priority queues and the gateway is modeled as M/G/1 with a single queue The generation rate and service time of individual traffic influence their performance measures. Based ell the suggested model, we propose the elapsed time of data traffic in terms of the number of cells, the number of Home PCs, arrival rates of four types of traffic and the service rates of AP/Home PCs/Gateway To analyze influences on the elapsed time with respect to arrival rate of four types of traffic, some examples are given.

  • Deep learning has been used for various processing centered on image recognition. One core algorithms of the deep learning, convolutional neural network is an deep neural network that specialized in image recognition. In this paper, we use a convolutional neural network to classify forest insects and propose an optimization method. Experiments were carried out by combining two weight initialization and six parameter update methods. As a result, the Xavier-SGD method showed the highest performance with an accuracy of 82.53% in the 12 different combinations of experiments. Through this, the latest learning algorithms, which complement the disadvantages of the previous parameter update method, we conclude that it can not lead to higher performance than existing methods in all application environments.

인공신경망 기반의 기타 코드 분류 시스템 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Guitar Chords Classification Systems Based on Artificial Neural Network)

  • In this paper, we construct and compare various guitar chord classification systems using perceptron neural network and convolutional neural network without pre-processing other than Fourier transform to identify the optimal chord classification system. Conventional guitar chord classification schemes use, for better feature extraction, computationally demanding pre-processing techniques such as stochastic analysis employing a hidden markov model or an acoustic data filtering and hence are burdensome for real-time chord classifications. For this reason, we construct various perceptron neural networks and convolutional neural networks that use only Fourier tranform for data pre-processing and compare them with dataset obtained by playing an electric guitar. According to our comparison, convolutional neural networks provide optimal performance considering both chord classification acurracy and fast processing time. In particular, convolutional neural networks exhibit robust performance even when only small fraction of low frequency components of the data are used.

Optimal Bandwidth Allocation and QoS-adaptive Control Co-design for Networked Control Systems

  • In this paper, we present a co-design methodology of dynamic optimal network-bandwidth allocation (ONBA) and adaptive control for networked control systems (NCSs) to optimize overall control performance and reduce total network-bandwidth usage. The proposed dynamic co-design strategy integrates adaptive feedback control with real-time scheduling. As part of this co-design methodology, a "closed-loop" ONBA algorithm for NCSs with communication constraints is presented. Network-bandwidth is dynamically assigned to each control loop according to the quality of performance (QoP) information of each control loop. As another part of the co-design methodology, a network quality of service (QoS)-adaptive control design approach is also presented. The idea is based on calculating new control values with reference to the network QoS parameters such as time delays and packet losses measured online. Simulation results show that this co-design approach significantly improves overall control performance and utilizes less bandwidth compared to static strategies.

SPAX 병렬 컴퓨터에서의 온라인 무간섭 네트워크 성능 감시기 (An on-line non-invasive network monitor for the SPAX parallel computer)

  • This paper describes the design and test of an on-line non-invasive network performance monitor (hardware portion) for the SPAX parallel computer. The SPAX parallel computer supports up to 256 intel P6 processors with 4 P6 processors constituting a processign node. The nodes are interconnected with a dual two-level crossbar network calle dXcent-net. Since the performance of the SPAX parallel computer is highly dependent on the proper and efficient operation of the network, an on-line non-invasive network performance monitor (with hardware components) has been developed to aid in the monitoring and tunign of the Xcent-net. Successful testing of a prototype node monitor board and PC interface system shows that our monitor design provides a low-cost practical solution to this problem.

2단 회귀신경망의 숫자음 인식에관한 연구 (A study on the spoken digit recognition performance of the Two-Stage recurrent neural network)

  • We compose the two-stage recurrent neural network that returns both signals of a hidden and an output layer to the hidden layer. It is tested on the basis of syllables for Korean spoken digit from /gong/to /gu. For these experiments, we adjust the neuron number of the hidden layer, the predictive order of input data and self-recurrent coefficient of the decision state layer. By the experimental results, the recognition rate of this neural network is between 91% and 97.5% in the speaker-dependent case and between 80.75% and 92% in the speaker-independent case. In the speaker-dependent case, this network shows an equivalent recognition performance to Jordan and Elman network but in the speaker-independent case, it does improved performance.

고속 채널 기반 네트웍에서 SDP 프로토콜 성능 평가 (A Performance Evaluation for SDP(Socket Direct Protocol) in Channel based Network)

  • As using of network Increases rapidly, performance of system has been deteriorating because of the overhead and bottleneck. Nowadays, high speed I/O network standard, that is a sort of InfiniBand, PCI Express and so on, has come out to improve the limites of traditional I/O bus. The InfiniBand provides some protocols to service the applications such as SDP, SRP and IPoIB. In our paper, We explain the architecture of SDP(Socket Direct Protocol) and its features in channel based I/O network. And so, we provide a result of performance evaluation of SDP which is compared with current network protocol. Our experimental results also show that SDP is better than TCP/IP protocol.
