Analysis on a Minimum Infinity-norm Solution for Kinematically Redundant Manipulators

  • In this paper, at first, we investigate existing algorithms for finding the minimum infinity-norm solution of consistent linear equations and then propose a new algorithm. The proposed algorithm is intended to includes the advantages of computational efficiency as well as geometric explicitness. As a practical application example, optimum trajectory planning for redundant robot manipulators is considered. Also, an efficient approach avoiding discontinuity in trajectory is proposed by resolving the non-uniqueness problem of minimum infinity-norm solution. To be specific, the proposed method for checking possible discontinuity does not need any other algorithms in checking the possibility of discontinuity while previous work needs specially designed checking courses. To show the usefulness of the proposed techniques, an example calculating minimum infinity-norm solution for comparing the computational efficiency as well as the trajectory planning for a redundant robot manipulator are included.

병원건축의 BIM적용을 위한 공간프로그램유효성평가의 전제조건에 관한 연구 (A study on the Preconditions of Space Program Validation of Healthcare Architecture for Application of BIM Technology)

  • Purpose: The planning and design of hospital generally requires the participation and consultation of skilled experts since it has more complex space program than any other buildings. Therefore, the BIM systems for the planning of hospital have been tried continuously. The purpose of this study is to identify the precondition for space Program validation of healthcare architecture based on BIM, which is recently receiving wide attention. Method: For this study, United States, Australia and Finland's guidelines were analyzed among the description space program validation system in 14 overseas BIM Guidelines. And the propose precondition that can be applied to healthcare architecture from among these description of space program validation items, target, process etc for General building. Result: 1) spatial program validation is the following four evaluation phase. Step 1: Standard setting phase Step 2: BIM model accuracy assessment phase Step 3: space validation phase Step 4: Performance evaluation phase 2) The standards for the building elements at Standards Setting stage is considered to the standards for the architectural elements of General building. 3) Healthcare Architecture Area calculation method is considered to be reasonable that borrowing the area calculation standard of general architecture according to the UIA of international standards. However, Be proposed of measuring method that reflect the efficiency of the design process step-by-step area calculation method. The performance assessment indicators of reflect the Hospital uniqueness have to developed. And the research needs to be carried out continuously according to the purpose for healthcare architecture of feature-oriented. Implications: In this paper like to understanding that precondition of space program validation considering the BIM. As a result, understanding to condition about step of the evaluation, the evaluation standards. Is expected to keep the focus on the development of performance indicators that reflect the uniqueness of the hospital for the efficient evaluation of the Hospital building.

스테레오 카메라의 미소 병진운동을 이용한 3차원 거리추출 알고리즘 (3D Range Finding Algorithm Using Small Translational Movement of Stereo Camera)

  • In this paper, we propose a 3-D range finding method for situation that stereo camera has small translational motion. Binocular stereo generally tends to produce stereo correspondence errors and needs huge amount of computation. The former drawback is because the additional constraints to regularize the correspondence problem are not always true for every scene. The latter drawback is because they use either correlation or optimization to find correct disparity. We present a method which overcomes these drawbacks by moving the stereo camera actively. The method utilized a motion parallax acquired by monocular motion stereo to restrict the search range of binocular disparity. Using only the uniqueness of disparity makes it possible to find reliable binocular disparity. Experimental results with real scene are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.

국내 패션 멀티브랜드 스토어의 유형별 전략 및 발전방향 (Classifications and Strategic Directions of Multi-brand Fashion Stores in Korea)

  • This study presents the strategic directions for Korean multi-brand fashion stores by running in-depth industry research and market analysis. Over 20 professionals were selected from Korean multi-brand fashion stores for this study and in-depth interviews were conducted to evaluate related subjects. The results of the study were as follows. First, Korean multi-brand fashion stores could be classified into three criteria: operating ownership, merchandise mix, and store identity. Second, operating ownership criterion was chosen for further investigations of strategies and directions of the multi-brand fashion stores. The operating ownership criterion consists of three types; department store types, specialty store types, and boutique types. Each type deploys different buying practice, organizational strategies, and distribution channels. Lastly, the suggested strategic directions for each type are summarized as follows. The 'department store type' should utilize its strong direct buying capabilities and acquisition of merchandising can be more effectively managed. The store should utilize its strong buying power as a tool to develop new private brands (PBs). For 'specialty store type', two key factors have been derived: market share expansion and positioning themselves to become a new distribution channel. To respond to these factors, the store needs to be perceived as a brand then diversify its business. Strengthening its brand will allow it to expand into a new distribution channel and also enable a strategic partnership with its competitor brands. The factors influencing 'boutique type' is personalization and uniqueness. With an emphasis on the uniqueness of products and merchandising it will be able to implement the role as a personal shopper and stylist to provide a very personalized service to its customers.

The factors influencing consumers' perceived complexity of online apparel mass customization service usage

  • Mass customization is a marketing strategy to meet consumer needs for variation and uniqueness of products. Although there are quite a few studies quantitatively investigated the options provided by mass customization process, scholarly work related to mass customization has provided mixed results on consumer perception of complexity and their responses. The purpose of the study is to derive the factors that influence consumer complexity perception in online apparel mass customization process and consumers' needs to enhance mass customization services. Data were collected by conducting focus group interviews of which 29 participations in 4 groups. The results of the study suggested that consumers perceived complexity through mass customization process due to too many choice options. However, the effect of number of options on respondents' complexity perception was different depending on consumer characteristics such as consumer expertise and fashion involvement, and the characteristics of consumer preference development. Shopping context such as shopping purpose is another moderating factor. This study also suggests that a variety of marketing strategies which can enhance mass customization services affect the relationship between the number of options and consumers' complexity perception. The findings of the study provide academic and managerial implications.

  • This research addresses to establish a systematic approach to design a standard Hangul code system for educational purposes in development of CAI courseware using Korean, English, and Chinese characters, which requires data exchanges and database construction. In this paper, types of Korean alphabetic code systems already in use, their representational environments and consonant/vowel order have been studied and analysed. This paper presents the requirements that the hangul code system for educational purpose needs to obtain. First, it should be able to represent all contemporary as well as ancient Korean alphabets. Second, character elements should be separable. Third, consonant/vowel order should be determined to easily retrieve and exchange data. Lastly, the code should maintain compatibility with other national codes and provide uniqueness of user-defined character codes.

직선요소와 휘도영역 기반 복합 정지영상 인식자 (Compound Image Identifier Based on Linear Component and Luminance Area)

  • As personal or compact devices with image acquisition functionality are becoming easily available for common users, the voluminous images that need to be managed by image related services or systems demand efficient and effective methods in the perspective of image identification. The objective of image identification is to associate an image with a unique identifier. Moreover, whenever an image identifier needs to be regenerated, the newly generated identifier should be consistent. In this paper, we propose three image identifier generation methods utilizing image features: linear component, luminance area, and combination of both features. The linear component based method exploits the information of distribution of partial lines over an image, while the luminance area based method utilizes the partition of an image into a number of small areas according to the same luminance degree. The third method is proposed in order to take advantage of both former methods. In this paper, we also demonstrate the experimental evaluations for uniqueness and similarity analysis that have shown favorable results.

대학생을 위한 의미요법 자서전쓰기 프로그램 타당성: 예비연구 (Validity of Logo-Autobiography for College Students: A Pilot Study)

  • 본 연구는 대학생을 위한 의미요법 자서전쓰기 프로그램의 타당성을 융합적으로 평가하기 위해 시행되었다. 프로그램은 Frankl의 의미요법과 우울한 중년 여성들을 위한 의미요법 자서전쓰기 프로그램을 기본으로 하여 개발되었다. 개발된 프로그램을 세 명의 정신건강간호사가 양적인 내용타당성 검사를 실시하였고 피드백 받은 내용을 수정하여 최종 90분짜리 6회기 프로그램을 확정하였다. 프로그램에 참여한 대학생 11명을 대상으로 포커스 집단 면접을 하여 참여 후 느낀 점을 자유롭게 말하도록 한 뒤 질적 자료를 내용분석하여 프로그램의 타당성을 질적으로 평가하였다. 질적 자료를 회기별로 내용분석한 결과 총 9개의 주제와 20개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 주제명은 존재의 발견, 존재의 유일성, 나의 미래를 생각함, 참만남 경험, 나의 유일성, 성공적 대처경험, 태도 선택의 자유 인식, 자기초월의 필요성, 나의 존재 발견이었다. 주제명은 모두 각 회기의 목적과 일치하는 것으로 평가되었다. 추후 실험연구를 통해 의미요법 자서전 쓰기가 대학생의 정신건강에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 효과를 확인할 필요가 있다.

소비자의 경험적 가치가 브랜드 자산에 미치는 영향 연구 - 럭셔리브랜드의 키치제품을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Experiential Value on Brand Equity - Focus on Kitsch Product of Luxury Brands -)

  • As a method to satisfy needs and emotions of consumers who pursue diversity, the use of Kitsch in the fashion industry has been increased. Previous studies on Kitsch fashion have focused on qualitative research on the characteristics of Kitsch product, and little empirical researches have been conducted on consumer attitude such as consumer response to Kitsch products and brand equity. Therefore, the purpose of this study are 1) to investigate comparisons of experiential values (i.e., Aesthetic, Amusing, Cultural) with Kitsch product moderated by consumers' characteristics (i.e., consumer uniqueness, fashion involvement), and 2) to explore the relationship between experiential values and brand equity. Factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, and structural equation model using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for the data analysis. 210 questionnaires were analyzed for this study. The results of this study were as follows. First, significant difference in aesthetic values of Kitsch products were shown. Kitsch Product with nostalgic characteristics has higher aesthetic values than others. Specifically differences in experiential values with Kitsch product were partially moderated by consumers' characteristics (i.e., consumer uniqueness, fashion involvement), Second, cultural value had a positive influence on brand awareness, while amusing and cultural values had a positive influence on brand image. Also aesthetic and amusing values had a positive influence on brand loyalty. Academic and business implications were discussed from this study.

정보취약계층의 정의와 속성에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Definitions and Characteristics of the Information Poor)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 도서관 서비스와 관련된 정보취약계층의 현황과 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 이 연구는 "도서관법" 및 유관 법령에서의 정보취약계층 관련 개념들의 정의, 이들과 관련된 국내외 관련 문헌 등을 조사하여, 정보취약계층을 위한 도서관 서비스 정책 수립과 방향 설정에 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이 연구는 장애인, 기초생활수급자, 노인, 농산어촌 주민으로 구성된 정보취약계층의 상당수가 중복된 취약성을 가지며, 각 하부집단의 고유성 및 소집단의 다양성을 보임을 확인하였다. 도서관의 정보격차 해소에 대한 법적 책무를 재정비하고, 보다 발전적인 정보취약계층 대상 도서관 서비스 중장기 추진전략 수립을 위해 정보취약계층의 속성과 요구에 대한 보다 구체적이며 심층적 이해가 필요하다는 점을 강조하였다.
