A Study on Progressive Removing Radar Clutter by Wavelet and Recursive Mathematical Morphology (Wavelet과 반복적 수리형태학을 이용한 레이더 클러터의 점진적 제거에 관한 연구)

  • MRA(Multi-resolution analysis) algorithm by Wavelet and morphology with $3{\times}3$ SQ(square) SE(structure element) is efficient to remove ship's radar clutter progressively and enhances detecting performance. Smoothing efficiency of RMM (Recursive mathematical Morphology) is better than that of Morphology. So, to get a better result than that of old algorithms, this paper proposes a new MRA algorithm which uses Wavelet and Recursive mathematical Morphology with $3{\times}3$ RHR(rhombus) SE. Simulation result of the proposed algorithm shows that PSNR is 0.65~1.50db better than that of old method.

해양사고 방지를 위한 관제정보 DB 구축 및 활용 방안: 장안서 해역을 중심으로

  • 조선기술의 발달과 해운업체의 요구로 선박이 점차 고속화 대형화됨에 따라 선박의 통항량은 매년 증가하고 있으며, 해양사고의 위험도 함께 높아지고 있다. 또한 최근 들어 어선이나 예선 등 소형선도 선박자동식별장치(AIS;Automatic Identification System)를 설치하면서 관제대상 선박은 시간이 갈수록 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인한 관제사의 업무량 및 스트레스도 증가하는 실정이다. 그러나 현재 관제센터에서 관제운영을 위해 사용중인 관제시스템을 제외하고는 관제사의 업무량을 효과적으로 감소시키고 지원할 수 있는 시스템은 연구된 바가 없다. 이 연구에서는 전자해도 기반의 관제사 지원 시스템의 주요 기능 중 관제정보 데이터베이스를 구축하여 해양사고를 방지할 수 있는 관제통계분석 기능에 대한 개념, 주요기능 및 활용방안에 대하여 모색하여 보았다.

  • 항로표지 관리운영시스템은 지방청별로 다르게 개발 운영되고 있어 통합데이터 관리, 유지보수 및 확장성에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 항로표지 정보의 체계적이고 지속적인 제공을 위해 항로표지 정보 국제표준(S-201)을 적용한 항로표지 관리운영시스템 표준 S/W를 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 사회적 문제로 대두되는 해킹에 대비하여 사용자 인증체계, DB 테이블 노출방지 등을 통한 보안성을 강화하였다.

  • 미래 해상환경 변화 대응의 일환으로 항로표지의 스마트화를 위한 정보의 디지털화, 정보교환 체계의 표준화 등 항로표지기반의 정보 통합 DB구축을 통한 해양분야의 ICT 기술개발이 요구되고 있다. 또한, 항해안전을 위한 아날로그 정보 전달 기능의 항로표지 역할이 해양정보 수집 및 활용의 허브기능으로 확장이 되며 스마트항로표지의 도입 및 전환이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 해상교통흐름의 변화에 대응하기 위해 본 연구에서는 표준화, 디지털화된 항로표지정보의 통합 제공을 위한 디지털 항로표지 정보관리를 위한 정보협력시스템을 설계하였다.

공간분석을 통한 연안해역 해상교통망 식별

  • 우리나라 연안해역에 급증하는 해상풍력단지 등 대규모 해양개발 행위로 인해 무분별한 해역을 점용하게 됨에 따라, 과거 관습적으로 이용해오는 해상교통로와 상충되어 발생하는 사회적 충돌이 문제가 되고 있다. 특히, 선박 대형화 및 자동화, 자율운항선박 등장 등 해상교통환경 변화에 따라 안전한 연안 해상교통환경 조성이 시급한 상황이다. 모든 연안해역의 해상교통 흐름 및 교통밀집도 분석에 따른 관습적 해상교통망을 식별하고, 이를 지정·구축하고자, 빅데이터 및 지리정보시스템(GIS) 기반 해양공간분석기법을 활용하여 검토 및 분석하였다. 이렇게 분석 및 식별된 결과는 DB화하여 디지털 GIS 관리시스템과 연계하도록 추진중이다.

Real-time Identification of Traffic Light and Road Sign for the Next Generation Video-Based Navigation System (차세대 실감 내비게이션을 위한 실시간 신호등 및 표지판 객체 인식)

  • A next generation video based car navigation is researched to supplement the drawbacks of existed 2D based navigation and to provide the various services for safety driving. The components of this navigation system could be a load object database, identification module for load lines, and crossroad identification module, etc. In this paper, we proposed the traffic lights and road sign recognition method which can be effectively exploited for crossroad recognition in video-based car navigation systems. The method uses object color information and other spatial features in the video image. The results show average 90% recognition rate from 30m to 60m distance for traffic lights and 97% at 40-90m distance for load sign. The algorithm also achieves 46msec/frame processing time which also indicates the appropriateness of the algorithm in real-time processing.

Human-likeness of an Agent's Movement-Data Loci based on Realistically Limited Perception Data (제한적 인지 데이터에 기초한 에이전트 움직임-데이터 궤적의 인간다움)

  • This present paper's goal is to show a virtual human agent's movement-data loci based on realistically limited perception data is human-like. To determine human-likeness of the movement-data loci, we consider interactions between two parameters: Realistically Limited Perception (RLP) data and Incremental Movement-Path data Generation (IMPG). That is to consider how the former (i.e., RLP), one of the simulated parameters of human thought or its elements dictates the latter (i.e., IMPG), one of the simulated parameters of human movement behavior. Mapping DB is a prerequisite for navigation in an agent system because it functions as an interface between perception and movement behavior. Although Hill et al. studied mapping DB methodology based on RLP, their research dealt only with a rendering camera's view point data. The agent system in this present paper was integrated with the Hill's mapping DB module and then the two parameters' interaction was considered on a military reconnaissance mission with unexpected enemy emergence. Movement loci that were generated by the agent and subjects were compared with each other. The agent system in this present research verifies that it can be a functional test bed for producing human-like movement-data loci although the human-likeness of agent is the result of a pilot test, determined by two parameters (RLP and IMPG) and only 30 subjects.

  • Recently, CAN network technology and MOST network are introduced in vehicle to control many electronic devices and to provide entertainment service. Many interconnected devices operate in MOST network which has ring topology such as CD-ROM(DVD), AMP, VIDEO CAMERA, VIDEO DISPLAY, GPS NAVIGATION and so on. In this paper, The input image of CAMERA in the MOST network is used for determining the movement direction of vehicle. Even though the position information was received from GPS, it is difficult to directly determine the direction of moving vehicle in certain areas such as the parallel road structure. This paper designs and implements the method to determine vehicle's direction by real-time matching between CAMERA image and object image base on image DB.

Performance Improvement of Fractal Dimension Estimator Based on a New Sampling Method (새로운 샘플링법에 기초한 프랙탈 차원 추정자의 정도 개선)

  • Fractal theory has been widely used to quantify the complexity of remotely sensed digital elevation models and images. Despite successful applications of fractals to a variety of fields including computer graphics, engineering and geosciences, the performance of fractal estimators depends highly on data sampling. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for computing the fractal dimension based on the triangular prism method and a new sampling method. The proposed sampling method combines existing two methods, that is, the geometric step method and the divisor step method to increase pixel utilization. In addition, while the existing estimation methods are based on $N{\times}M$ window, the proposed method expands to $N{\times}M$ window. The proposed method is applied to generated fractal DEM, Brodatz's image DB and real images taken in the campus to demonstrate its feasibility.

  • SUPER concrete poontoon is developed to overcome shortcomings about corrosion problem of steel pontoon and the insufficient freeboard line of concrete pontoon. Top slab of Pontoon resists truck load or sidewalk live load. The soffit slab and outer wall of Pontoon resist the horizontal and vertical components of wave pressure, and those were loaded along X and Y-axis of Pontoon. Global analysis for the Pontoon is carried out to design its cross-sections economically using a geometric non-linear time history analysis method by Strand7 and buoyance-stability calculated automatically on non-vertical boundary conditions. And the load-capacity of Pontoon is confirmed through mock-up tests.
