This study was intended to contribute to allowing athletes to raise a technical understanding of two motions of high difficulty such as the Swallow motion and the Nakayama motion and enhance their competitive power by analysing the kinematical factors required to link those two motions on the competitive scene on the rings for current national athletes. For this purpose, the game of the ring event was videotaped for male heavy gymnasts participating in the final elimination match of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. This study attempted to select the performing motions of the final 1st-and 2nd-place athletes performing the linking motions from the Swallow motion and the Nakayama motion using the DLT(direct linear transformation) method. As a result, it arrived at the following conclusion : A1 properly performed the flexing and extending movements using the angular velocity of the segment and joint as the switching motion using the body at the time of linking the motion from the Swallow skill to the Nakayama skill. A2 was evaluated to perform the skill taking the form of depending on the force at the static state. Therefore, it is thought that A1 should take care of shaking at the time of using the elasticity of the body. It is thought that in case of A2 the proper use of the elasticity of the body take care of shaking at the switching motion while taking advantage of the force will contribute to his competitive power.

인터넷의 등장으로 국가간의 경계는 사라지고 글로벌 자유경제 체제로 전환되는 현 시점에서 사물을 지능화하고 서비스하는 단계인 유비쿼터스 사회는 융합의 산업혁명으로 전개될 것이다. 따라서 향후 도시의 경쟁력은 정치, 경제, 문화관광, 교통, 정보통신, 환경, 방재 등 사회 전반에 활용되는 유비쿼터스 단위별 정보의 질과 양에 따라 좌우될 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 이유로 현재 각 국가와 도시는 유비쿼터스 선도를 주창하며 서비스를 개발하고 네트워크도 광대역 통신망으로 구축하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라에서 추진하고 있는 도시별 U-City 추진현황과 향후 전망을 분석하고 비용절감과 활용측면을 고려하여 광대역 자가통신 네트워크를 확보하는 사례를 조사 연구하였다. 특히, U-City와 자가통신 네트워크를 활용한 융합 모델 개발로 도시 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 정책 방안을 제시한다.

Expansion of International trade depends on International Logistics which can overcome distance and time. In In-cheon, There are many small scale and minor Freight Forwarders take advantage of being linked with a port, an airport but their inefficient paper works cause raising of Logistics costs and losing of competitive power. In this study, we design a web based ocean forwarder information system for freight forwarder to solve these problems. So, this system will provide decreasing operation time, human resources, and accessing easily because of web based system, and finally decrease logistics cost and improve national competitive power.

본 논문에서는 정성적으로만 논의되어왔던 IPTV 도입에 따른 지상파방송 케이블방송 위성방송 간의 미디어 역학관계 및 경쟁구도 변화를 계량화하였다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 아직 서비스가 실시되지 않은 미디어와 기존 미디어간의 경쟁구도를 분석하는데 주로 이용되었던 충족적소이론의 적용 한계점들을 보완. 극복한 새로운 접근방법으로 충족적소이론에 기대가치이론을 접목하여 경쟁관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, IPTV 도입 시 케이블방송, IPTV, 위성방송 순으로 경쟁의 우선순위가 분석되었고, 지상파방송은 통계적으로 유의미한 값을 보이지 못했다. 즉, IPTV는 케이블방송보다는 경쟁력이 부족하고, 위성방송보다는 경쟁력이 우수한 중간정도의 경쟁척도를 나타냈다. 따라서 IPTV는 기존의 유료방송시장에서 케이블방송 및 위성방송서비스와 대체재적 서비스 속성을 보이며 상호간에 경쟁관계를 유지할 것으로 분석되었고, 가장 심한 경쟁대상은 위성방송이며, 가장 경쟁의 정도가 미미한 미디어는 지상파방송으로 분석되었다. 따라서 IPTV는 향후 기존의 유료방송시장에서 경쟁력이 상대적으로 약한 위성방송 가입자를 대체할 가능성이 높아질 것이며, 케이블TV와는 비교열위상태에서 경쟁력을 유지할 것이다.

Wind is a significant and valuable renewable energy resource. It is safe and abundant and can make an important contribution to future clean, sustainable and diversified electricity supplies. Unlike other sources of energy, wind does not pollute the atmosphere nor create any hazardous waste. In some countries wind energy is already competitive with fossil and nuclear power even without accounting for the environmental benefits of wind power. The cost of electricity from conventional power stations does not usually take full account of its environmental impact (acid rain, oil slick clean up, the effects of climate change, etc). In this paper, a transient phenomenon simulation method for Wind Power Generation System(WPGS) under real weather conditions has been proposed. The simulation method is expected to be able to analyze easily under various conditions with considering the sort of wind turbine, the capacity of system and the converter system. Wind turbine connected to the synchronous generator and power converter was simulated.

Recently, the development of the HTS power cable is actively promoted. As the length of HTS power cable increases, there have been many efforts to develop large capacity cryocooler. Among the various cryocooler, the Brayton refrigerator is the most competitive for HTS power cable. The Brayton refrigerator is composed of recuperative heat exchangers, a compressor, and a cryogenic turbo expander. In these components, the cryogenic turbo expander is a part to decrease the temperature and it is the most significant component that is closely related with overall system efficiency. It rotates with high speed using a high-pressure helium or neon gas at cryogenic temperature. This paper describes the design of a 10 kW class Brayton refrigeration cycle and the cryogenic turbo expander. Flow and structural analysis are performed for the rotating impeller and nozzle to verify the efficiency and the design performance.

This paper is mainly associated with setting out an agenda for the transformation of security by creating a new framework for a security system, which can maximise its effectiveness. Noticeably, this research shows empirically that crimes are getting a major cost to organisations, which if reduced by security and investigations could reap substantial rewards to the finances of an organisation. However, the problem is that the delivery of security is frequently delegated to personnel (e.g. security guards) with limited training, inadequate education, and no real commitment to professionalism - 'sub-prime' security, finally causing security failures. Therefore, if security can be enhanced to reduce the crime cost, this will produce financial benefits to business, and consequently could produce a competitive advantage. For this, the paper basically draws upon Luke's theoretical framework for deconstructing 'power' into three dimensions. Using this three-dimensional approach, the paper further sets out a model of how security can be enhanced, utilising a new Security Risk Management (SRM) model, and how can this SRM model create competitive advantage in business. Finally, this paper ends with the six strategies needed to enhance the quality of security: refiguring as SRM, Professional Staff, Accurate Measurement, Prevention, Cultural Change, and Metrics.

본 연구에서는 항만산업이 국가경제에 미치는 영향을 산업연관표를 이용하여 살펴보고, 항만시설에 대한 국제경쟁력 저하의 원인을 항만투자의 부재에 기인하는 것으로 보고 항만산업의 투자비 조달방안을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 주요 내용은 생산유발계수, 부가가치유발계수, 수입유발계수, 영향력계수, 감응도계수이다. 이들의 분석을 통하여 본 결과 항만산업이 국민경제에 미치는 영향은 크다고 할 수 있다. 또한 선박의 대형화에 대비한 대수심의 확보, 항만서비스의 향상과 생산성의 제고, 대형선사의 부두운영참가 등을 통해 항만산업 발전에 투자를 해야 한다. 그런데 항만개발에 따른 비용이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 대단위의 비용이 투입되는 산업분야이다. 따라서 항만산업은 산업구조상 국가경제에 미치는 전후방 파급효과가 매우 크며, 또한 항만은 특성상 조기에 확보하기가 어렵고, 거대한 자본이 소요된다. 우선 항만물류의 효율성을 제고되는 것이 중요하며, 소프웨어적 측면과 하드웨어적인 항만시설의 확보가 중요하며 이를 위해서 항만시설투자에 적극적이어야 한다.

This study analyzes factors affecting the competitiveness of broadband over power line communication (BPLC) and predicts demand for the service, based on quantitative information about consumer preferences drawn from a survey of Korean consumers. Findings from the estimation suggest that, although consumers value some beneficial features of BPLC, to be competitive the speed and stability of its data transmission needs to be improved. Moreover, on the basis of a market simulation, we expect BPLC to occupy only a small portion of Korea's Internet access market in the future, a finding we expect would hold true for other developed countries whose Internet access markets are already mature.
