  • These days a great mix of traditional and digital contents such as movie, broadcasting, advertisement, e-books, music, game, animation, cartoon, character, knowledge information, and art performance are widely available. Many more are yet to come, with improved quality and added features. It is expected that all these contents will be evolved into a new breed of convergence content through the process of consolidation, expansion, integration, and recreation. Across the digital ecosystem, a new formula is being added to the industrial structure : 'Information/Content-Platform/Device-Goods/Service.' In the near future, as a result of technological innovation and convergence, the business sector will lose its boundaries as well, as businesses will be forced to look beyond the product itself and focus more on multi-functionality. Especially, in the era of creative economy, more policies need to be crafted in order to procure a new growth engine for the future with the agenda for convergence between humanities and technology. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept, factors, elements, types, and cases of convergence, which are the essence of content convergence. This analysis, with its focus on the convergence process, will help identify the effects and limits of content convergence as well as the prospects for convergence contents in the smart ecosystem under the creative economic system.

  • The content curation service through big data analysis is receiving great attention in various content fields, such as film, game, music, and book. This service recommends personalized contents to the corresponding user based on user's preferences. The existing book curation systems recommended books to users by using bibliographic citation, user profile or user log data. However, these systems are difficult to recommend books related to character names or spatio-temporal information in text contents. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest a personalized book curation system based on integrated mining of a book. The proposed system consists of mining system, recommendation system, and visualization system. The mining system analyzes book text, user information or profile, and SNS data. The recommendation system recommends personalized books for users based on the analysed data in the mining system. This system can recommend related books using based on book keywords even if there is no user information like new customer. The visualization system visualizes book bibliographic information, mining data such as keyword, characters, character relations, and book recommendation results. In addition, this paper also includes the design and implementation of the proposed mining and recommendation module in the system. The proposed system is expected to broaden users' selection of books and encourage balanced consumption of book contents.

  • Context-Awareness is a important technology to support optimized services automatically by recognizing various context informations in ubiquitous environments. Previous middlewares which supports ubiquitous environments used a centralized storage and DBMS to store and manage context informations and service contents. Centralized management of context informations and service contents sometimes hinders the autonomy of moving node and interoperability between difference middlewares. In this paper, we design the systems which stores context informations in moving node by distributed form and shares service contents between middlewares in distributed ubiquitous environments. And it provides Context-Aware scripts to supports the definition of context informations reasoning and execution of services. It verifies the usefulness of the designed systems by applying the scenario of music playing service based on context awareness

  • These days, home network connects all home appliances using one of broadband convergence network, is constructed and propagated to more than 10 million house hold. Users can monitor and control statuses of home appliances using mobile terminal through homeserver. For active propagation of home network, high-quality multimedia service is very important. Specially, as digital recorder and digital camera is propagated, new paradigm that private DVDs can be shared in many household shows up. The homeserver is the main part of UbiHome, which can store much multimedia content and through which the user can search and share these contents. For searching and sharing, the metadata of contents is supposed to keep the consistency. These metadata include the description to different format such as Image, movie, and music. Therefore, we intend to provide a RDF model for effectively storing, searching and managing high-quality contents in UbiHome. In this paper, we propose to make Ontology to close semantic approach using RDF/RDF Schema for managing multimedia data in UbiHome. we propose RDF-Based Local Ontology and merging these ontology to RDF-Based Global Ontology.

  • In the K-content industry, K-pop is a vital cultural phenomenon that extends beyond music to influence fashion, beauty, tourism, and the character industries. In particular, the idol characterization industry plays a vital role in fostering a bond between artists and fans and strengthening brand identity. For example, BTS's BT21 and New Jeans' rabbit characters are effectively expanding into a variety of products and media content. These characters appear across diverse platforms, contributing to a broader engagement with fans. Moreover, generating revenue through characters serves as a tool to deeply convey the artist's musical worldview and concept, beyond short-term profits. Idol characters have the complementary function of clearly presenting the artist's image to the public and enhancing the character's prominence. Webtoons, animations, and games featuring idol characters contribute to securing and expanding new fandoms. Interactions with these characters can boost brand loyalty and increase product sales. The study reveals that character-based marketing not only strengthens fandom and enhances brand loyalty but also effectively conveys the artist's vision. It highlights the crucial role of leveraging digital platforms to boost profitability and engage audiences. Furthermore, the study explores the long-term impact of these strategies on the K-Pop industry, showing how they facilitate global expansion, market entry, and sustained growth, thereby reinforcing K-Pop's position as a leading force in global entertainment.

  • BMGIM is a method of individual psychotherapy which seeks to achieve self-knowledge via imagery experiences evoked by music. When dealing with imagery in BMGIM, emphasis is placed on the insight of the client, but there are occasions when clients sometimes are confused because they cannot understand their imagery experiences. Also therapists and clients tend to consider experiences of BMGIM from a causalistic-reductive perspective. In order to understand the meaning of BMGIM imagery experiences, in this thesis imagery experiences are interpreted from a Jungian perspective that understands imagery as a symbol and stresses the purposive meaning. At first the definition and procedures of BMGIM are dealt with, secondly music and imagery as components of BMGIM are examined, and lastly the symbolic meaning of two female clients' BMGIM imageries are discussed. Looking into deeply imagery experiences, both therapist and clients newly came to realize not only the symbolic meaning of imageries but also the purposive meaning of wounds and sufferings of clients, especially I was able to confirm the following three points. First, just like dreams or active imagination, BMGIM also deals with spontaneous contents of the psyche. Second, the autonomy of the objective psyche which orients the development of personality, healing and wholeness is also revealed in BMGIM. Lastly, Jungian perspective aids in understanding the meaning of the imagery experiences in a more deep and abundant way. From this point, BMGIM can also be seen as a useful therapeutic tool which deals with the unconscious such as dream analysis or active imagination.

  • Mikhail Glinka, who had a profound influence on Russian nationalist music, created two forms of Russian classical opera. The first form is the first work of Glinka as a history-hero opera, the first opera of the Americas, "Ivan Susanin". The mythology-fairytale opera form, which Glinka's opera "Ruslan and Ludmila" left the first footsteps, is the second form of Russian classical opera. Dargomyzhsky's(Alexander Sergeyevich) opera "Rusalka" is not only a work linking the above-mentioned fairy-opera forms, but also a "life style psychology opera" which was first attempted in Russian music history. Dargomyzhsky's opera "Rusalka" is based on the Luisalka, the spirit of water delivered from the Slavic mythology, and the poems of Pushkin created on the basis of it. However, the script of this opera is written directly, and Dargomyzhsky's opera "Rusalka" is shaped in opera in deformed shape without replicating the spirit of mythical water perfectly. In Slavic mythology, the common denominator of the form of the subordinate"Rusalka" refers to the dead soul of a woman found in forests, near lakes or rivers, and has suffered from unfortunate events by alive life power, absurd society or bad men Or an innocent woman who has been betrayed by love, can not go to hell after the suicide and tempt men to death. However, the shape of "Rusalka" appearing in Dargomyzhsky opera "Rusalka" is different from that of Rusalka in the Slavic mythology (there are similarities and differences). These specificities are listed below: First, the different and the Dargomyzhsky's opera "Rusalka" i reveals all the mysteries, universality and folkness which are in the story of the Rusalka 's spirit in myth. Second, "Rusalka" in the East Slavic mythology is the existence of both good and evil forms. In the Dargomisshu opera opera "Rusalka", Rusalka is an evil spirit, a vengeful incarnation who takes a prince into the water and kills him with the evil water spirit. Third, "Rusalka" in Slavic mythology is a young virgin who has fallen into the water because of her tragic love. However, Natasha, a female actor of Dargomyzhsky's opera "Rusalka", is a person who drowns while pregnant. Fourth, "Rusalka" in the East Slavic mythology is 'an ominous being who dances.' The "Rusalka" come out of the water and wait for the night on cannabis or birch branches, and when the moon comes up, many people gather together to dance. Fifth, "Rusalka" in the East Slavic mythology tempts men to death without help of the person who had a family relationship before becoming a spirit. When I compare this with the contents of the East Slavic mythology, it is transformed from the myth to the help of Rusalka from the Birch, and from the opera to the father of Natasha. Fifth, "Rusalka" in the East Slavic mythology is a virgin, but in Dargomyzhsky's opera"Rusalka", Rusalka is an evil spirits of revenge with a daughter.
