Application of Standard Terminologies for the Development of a Customized Healthcare Service based on a PHR Platform

  • The personal health record platform can store and manage medical records, health-monitoring data such as blood pressure and blood sugar, and life logs generated from various wearable devices. It provides services such as international standard-based medical document management, data pattern analysis and an intelligent inference engine, and disease prediction and domain contents. This study aims to construct a foundation for the transmission of international standard-based medical documents by mapping the diagnosis items of a general health examination, special health examination, life logs, health data, and life habits with the international standard terminology systems. The results of mapping with international standard terminology systems show a high mapping rate of 95.6%, with 78.8% for LOINC, 10.3% for SNOMED, and 6.5% when mapped with both LOINC and SNOMED.

  • Various types of media services are emerging due to the development of Internet and digital media production and distribution technologies. Various DRM technologies are being developed to prevent illegal copying of media contents and to protect the rights of content creators. There is a problem that the DRM provider and the content service provider must provide services in a mutually dependent manner through individual contracts. In this paper, we propose a cloud-based DRM market system which can be used only by content service providers when necessary for various DRM. The DRM market system is expected to show the effect of service activation for related small and medium sized companies by providing an interface that satisfies the requirements of DRM providers and contents service providers by using multi DRM technology.

  • 본 논문에서는 HD급 멀티미디어 streaming을 처리할 수 있는 DSP 플랫폼을 개발하였다. DSP 플랫폼은 Tl사의 C6400계열 DSP를 사용하였고 다채널의 오디오와 HD급 화질의 비디오_ 데이터를 처리할 수 있다. DSP가 decoder의 기능을 부담함으로써 하드웨어의 재구성이 용이하며 코덱을 다운로드하기 때문에 유연한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 재생이 가능하다. 개발한 DSP 플랫폼을 호스트 PC에 설치하여 PC로부터 DSP Configuration 파일과 멀티미디어 스트리밍 데이터를 전송받는 구조를 가진다. 소프트웨어는 실시간으로 demux를 실행하여 오디와 비디오_ 데이터를 분리하석 DSP 플랫폼의 외부메모리에 저장하고 동시에 비디오와 오디오의 디코딩을 실행한다. 오디오와 비디오 데이터의 버퍼 언더런/오버런을 극할 수 있는 buffer control 기법을 적용하였다. 호스트 PC에서 DSP 플랫폼으로의 스트리밍을 하기 위하여 Open Architecture 기반의 Windows OS에서 스트리밍 서비스 프로그램을 구현 하였다. 마지막으로 MPEG-2 video MP@ML인 비디오 코덱과 5.1ch 48kHz AC3인 오디오 코덱으 구성된 streaming 데이터를 사용하여 DSP 플랫폼을 검증하였다.

모바일 기반 학급관리 시스템 (A Class Management System on Mobile Platform)

  • Development of information and communication technologies has given a lot of changes in the business processing methods including the school and class managements. However, many business processing systems are still based on desktop computer. In particular, most of the class management system only supports desktop computers; hence school teachers have difficulty in using their class managements systems on mobile environment. In this paper, we proposed and developed a mobile classroom management system for teachers, which will easily handle information such as personal records of students, student counseling records, student life record and so on. The implementation of the application of mobile-based class management can be managed by many school elements including student register information, student evaluation records and transcripts, counseling report, and so on.

  • 성층권에 통신중계기를 탑재한 비행선이나 비행기를 띄워서 무선중계시스템을 구축하고, 이 시스템을 광대역 무선 멀티미디어서비스 사업에 활용하는 방안이 추진되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 성층권 무선중계시스템을 구성하는 플랫폼의 운용개념을 정의하고, 성층권 관제시스템이 갖추어야 할 기능 및 구성요소를 설정하며, 향후 구축될 성층권 관제시스템의 설계를 구체화하기 위한 개념을 제공할 목적으로 수행된 연구의 결과이다.

A Design of the Platform Technology for the Smart Shopping Mall Using NFC: A Software Engineering Approach

  • An IoT-based server system for store management was developed in this study. Its client-server structure having a product categorization function allows the system to read the NFC tags attached to individual products and provides information about them to customers automatically. The system also provides an effective promotional effect as it not only offers necessary information about the items the customers are seeking but also displays the advertisements related to them. This server system was designed specifically designed for the use in a smart shopping Mall or a department store so that the store owners can manage their sales operation more effectively while their customers enjoy shopping more conveniently. It is expected that the technology used for this IoT-utilized server system can be one of the efficient and effective platform technologies in the current and future store management systems.

  • Emotional experience (James, 1884)[1] can affect people's behavior. There are few types of research on VR marketing(Maojun Zhou, Zeru Yan, 2018)[2] design based on emotional experience. This article is based on emotional evaluation theory and empirical research, and the VR marketing case "Buy+" online shopping platform (Wu Yongyi, 2016). It is concluded that there are three levels of emotional experience definition on VR marketing which decompose the features of the VR marketing design of "Buy+ as an online-shop" correspondingly and find out the design features of VR marketing from the perspective of emotional experience. Finally, through the analysis of the questionnaire data, it verified that vividness, functionality and effectiveness could represent the features of VR marketing design. Moreover, it analyzed the correlation among these factors. Vividness and functionality have the closest relationship among them. The definition, the components, and the correlation of the three-layer emotional experience obtained from this research can provide theoretical support and reference for other VR marketing designs.

  • The telemedicine & distance education system that this paper suggests has been designed on the CTE(Collaborative Telemedicine & distance Education) framework, which is an integrated multimedia environment. This is a CBM-based collaborative telemedicine & distance education type, different from the conventional doctor based general practice, and is an integrated multimedia telemedicine & distance education system capable of many application developments using information super highway. This paper presents the content regarding electronic medical examination chart and data treatment for efficient medical examination and prompt treatment by realizing mutual conversation type remote medical examination system among 3 parties(patient, doctor, pharmacist) on internet base. And, The implementation of this new teaming system should be designed with multimedia application development platform base which is interfaced with computer engineering, computer network technology, CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) technology, and education engineering.

  • Since various type of wireless/mobile network likes WLAN, WIBRO, HSDPA were come to us, technology providing high quality multimedia service while user move are actively researched such as MIH (Media Independent Handover) proposed by IEEE for interworking between heterogeneous network and CMIP (Client Mobile IP), PMIP (Proxy Mobile IP) for mobility. Despite the technology about interworking and handover between heterogeneous network are actively researched, handover decision method need to be researched. In this paper we suggest a simple and effective handover method for high quality multimedia service in real wireless environment. For this, we use MIH+CMIP platform for target multimedia service to make handover decision rule in WIBRO and HSDPA networks. After apply this rule, we verified effectiveness of handover decision method through real test.

  • 본 논문에서는 영상회의를 위한 멀티미디어 하드웨어 플랫폼의 하드웨어 구조를 입출력 시스템 중심으로 제안하고, 그 구조를 대기모델로 표현하여 입출력 시스템의 동작을 분석하였으며, 영상회의 시스템의 구현을 통해 분석결과를 고찰하였다. 영상회의시에 발생되는 멀티미디어 데이타의 병목현상과 비디오 데이타의 크기, 프레임 수, 화자의 수 및 압축율의 변화에 따른 프레임의 대기 시간을 모의실험하여 실현 가능한 영상회의 수준과 문제점을 분석하였다 또 분석된 내용의 요구를 근사적으로 반영하는 입출력 시스템을 구현하고 시험하여 멀티미디어 시스템 입출력 설계시에 고려해야 할 사항들을 기술하였다.
