  • This paper proposes a way to design a multi-purpose hall which can serve as a culture and art space for college students and which can also accommodate college students' behaviour characteristics. The major claims made in this paper are as follows. First the hall should be located where it is easily accessible from major and minor campus facilities. Second friendliness between inside and outside of the hall should be established by providing a Gray Zone such as floor or a yard. Third lobby should have a enough space for the entrance and exit of the hall and for rest and refreshments. Fourth in addition to a fixed stage height-adjustable stage and booth should be provided in order to use the hall space for different use. Fifth in the color aspect high value and low chroma should be used to create tender and friendly atmospher and in the shape aspect a durable natural and functional design should be considered in order to create a modern atmosphere.

  • Recently, metaverse has attracted great attention worldwide with the development of related technologies and the demand for on-tact systems. The ideal metaverse should constitute a virtual world more similar to the realistic society with physical interactions. However, there are many constraints when we construct a virtual world using the existing commercialized metaverse platform. In this paper, we design and implement a university campus-based metaverse which minimizes the constraints, and create a virtual environment maps very similar to the real-world using Unity engine, Photon cloud and Playfab SDK for multi-user accessible to virtual world as a personal avatar. Also, this work includes attractive interaction based on exchange between users. Lastly, we illustrate our implemented metaverse works on Android phone, and it works without difficulty in terms of performance.

  • The United States is responding to evolving cyberattacks through the Commercial Solutions for Classified Program (CSfC). Authorized safety evaluation and certification are being carried out so that US government agencies can quickly introduce civilian commercial security products into the national pavilion. Commercial security products registered in the CSfC process can be used by defense agencies through a rapid approval process. Defense agencies approve commercial security products without duplicate evaluation. Approved security products can reduce the time, cost, and cost of the approval process required to implement the defense information system. In this study, security control for 4 types of network security architecture MSC (Multi-Site Connectivity), MA (Mobile Access), Campus WLAN, and DAR (Data at Rest) proposed by the US National Security Agency (NSA) for introduction to national defense A detailed analysis was performed on the items.

  • Objective: This study was conducted to estimate multi-trait genetic parameters for somatic cell score (SCS), milk yield and type traits in Nigerian Dwarf (ND) goats from the United States. Methods: Data from 1,041 ND goats in the United States with kiddings in 95 herds were used to estimate multi-trait genetic parameters for SCS, milk (MILK), fat (FAT), and protein (PROT) yields, and 14 type traits. An 18-trait mixed linear animal model for lactation mean SCS (Log2), MILK, FAT, PROT, and 14 type traits was applied. A factor analytic approach (FA1) in ASReml software was used to obtain convergence. Results: Averages for SCS were low (2.85±1.29 Log2), and were 314±110.6, 20.9±7.4, and 14±4.9 kg, respectively, for MILK, FAT, and PROT. Heritabilities for SCS, MILK, FAT, and PROT were 0.32, 0.16, 0.16, and 0.10, respectively. The highest heritabilities for type traits were for stature (0.72), teat diameter (0.49), and rump width (0.48), and the lowest estimates were for dairyness (0.003) and medial suspensory ligament (0.03). Genetic correlations of SCS with MILK, FAT, and PROT were positive but low (0.25, 0.18, and 0.23, respectively). Genetic and phenotypic correlations between MILK, FAT, and PROT were high and positive (≥0.66). Absolute values of genetic correlations involving SCS with type traits were generally low or no different from zero. Most of the phenotypic correlations involving SCS with type traits were low. No serious unfavorable genetic correlations between milk yield traits and SCS or between milk yield traits or SCS and type traits were found. Conclusion: Genetic variation exists in the ND breed for most studied traits. The development of selection programs based on these estimates may help accelerate favorable multi-trait genetic changes in this breed.

  • In this study, free vibration analysis of laminated composite parabolic thick plate frames by using finite element method is introduced. Governing equations of an eigenvalue problem are obtained from First Order Shear Deformation Theory (FSDT). Finite element method is employed to obtain natural frequency values from the governing differential equations. The frames consist of two flat square plates and one singly curved plate. Parameters like radii of curvature, aspect ratio, ply orientation and boundary conditions are investigated to understand their effect on dynamic behavior of such a structure. In addition, multi-bay structures of such geometry with different stacking order are also taken into account. The composite frame structures are also modeled and simulated via ANSYS to verify the accuracy of the present study.

  • Wavelet transforms are the emerging signal-processing tools for damage identification and time-frequency localization. A small perturbation in a static or dynamic displacement profile could be captured using multi-resolution technique of wavelet analysis. The paper presents the wavelet analysis of damaged linear structural elements using DB4 or BIOR6.8 family of wavelets. Starting with a localized reduction of EI at the mid-span of a simply supported beam, damage modeling is done for a typical steel and reinforced concrete beam element. Rotation and curvature mode shapes are found to be the improved indicators of damage and when these are coupled with wavelet analysis, a clear picture of damage singularity emerges. In the steel beam, the damage is modeled as a rotational spring and for an RC section, moment curvature relationship is used to compute the effective EI. Wavelet analysis is performed for these damage models for displacement, rotation and curvature mode shapes as well as static deformation profiles. It is shown that all the damage indicators like displacement, slope and curvature are magnified under higher modes. A localization scheme with arbitrary location of curvature nodes within a pseudo span is developed for steady state dynamic loads, such that curvature response and damages are maximized and the scheme is numerically tested and proved.

  • Ductility based design of reinforced concrete structures implicitly assumes certain damage under the action of a design basis earthquake. The damage undergone by a structure needs to be quantified, so as to assess the post-seismic reparability and functionality of the structure. The paper presents an analytical method of quantification and location of seismic damage, through system identification methods. It may be noted that soft ground storied buildings are the major casualties in any earthquake and hence the example structure is a soft or weak first storied one, whose seismic response and temporal variation of damage are computed using a non-linear dynamic analysis program (IDARC) and compared with a normal structure. Time period based damage identification model is used and suitably calibrated with classic damage models. Regenerated stiffness of the three degrees of freedom model (for the three storied frame) is used to locate the damage, both on-line as well as after the seismic event. Multi resolution analysis using wavelets is also used for localized damage identification for soft storey columns.

  • Though there are many crimes on and out university campus in Korea, no one knows anything about the size or the types of campus crime. But, there are many theft crimes and sex assault in the library and one-room village near the university campus. This study suggested the establish ways and means needed to improve the campus security system, with the focus on the CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). Various types of crime prevention methods are being considered instead of conventional crime suppression measures. Among them, CPTED is drawing global attention. Crime prevention through environmental design is a multi-disciplinary approach to deterring criminal behavior through environmental design. CPTED strategies rely upon the ability to influence offender decisions that precede criminal acts. A truly safe campus can be achieved only through the cooperation of all students, faculty, staff and visitors. The cooperation and involvement of the entire campus community in campus crime prevention is absolutely necessary. University should adopt a series of policies and procedures designed to ensure that every possible precaution is taken to protect persons and property on campus.
