대장내시경을 위한 자기 충격 액츄에이터 (Magnetic Impact Actuator for Robotic Endoscope)

  • For robotic endoscope, some researchers suggest pneumatic actuators based on inchworm motion. But, the existing endoscopes are not seemed to be replaced completely because human intestine is very sensitive and susceptible to damage. We design and test a new locomotion of robotic endoscope able to maneuver safely in the human intestine. The actuating mechanism is composed of two solenoids at each side and a single permanent magnet. When the current direction is reversed, repulsive force and attractive at the opposition side propels permanent magnet. Impact force against robotic endoscope transfer momentum from moving magnet to endoscope capsule. The direction and moving speed of the actuator can be controlled by adjusting impact force. Modeling and simulation experiments are carried out to predict the performance of the actuator. Simulation experiments show that force profile of permanent magnet is the dominant factor for the characteristic of the actuator. The results of simulations are verified by comparing with the experimental results.

높은 유연 모드 주파수를 갖는 가동 자석형 광 픽업 액추에이터 개발 (Design of Moving Magnet Type Optical Pickup Actuator with High Frequencies of the Flexible Modes)

  • 데이터 전송률과 저장용량은 광학디스크드라이브 성능의 주요 척도이다. 데이터 전송률은 높을수록 좋으며, 저장용량은 되도록 큰 것이 바람직하다. 이와 같은 성능을 증가시키기 위해 광학디스크드라이브의 액추에이터는 높은 서보대역폭을 가져서 광학디스크의 진동을 보상할 수 있어야 한다. 하지만 서보대역폭은 액추에이터의 몇몇 유연모드들에 의해 제한되므로 액추에이터 유연모드의 고유진동수를 높이는 설계가 필수적이다. 이 논문은 높은 유연모드 주파수를 갖는 가동 자석형 액추에이터를 제안한다. 일반적으로 가동 자석형 액추에이터는 가동부의 형태가 단순하고, 가동부 자석이 높은 영률을 가지기 때문에 유연모드 주파수를 높이는데 유리하다. 반면 가동부의 질량이 크고 자기 회로의 효율이 좋지 않아 액추에이터의 구동감도가 나쁘다. 이와 같은 단점을 극복하는 방편으로 구동감도를 향상시키기 위해 트랙킹 방향 구동을 위한 자기회로가 폐자기회로인 모델을 설계하였다. 추가로 실험계획법을 이용한 자기회로 개선을 통해 구동감도를 향상시켰으며, 유연모드 주파수 또한 렌즈 홀더의 변경을 통해 향상시켰다.

  • Linear motors are increasingly employed as direct actuators replacing the more conventional systems composed by a rotating motor and a mechanical device. Linear DC motor is useful in a high speed and high accuracy positioning system with a feedback controller. Because of these advantages, linear DC motors have already been used as motors of pen recorders and magnetic disk storage devices, these are moving coil type linear DC motors as these movers are light. Moving magnet type linear DC motor has advantages at long stroke motors because its mover's feeding wires for driving is not necessary. This paper is concerned with the analysis of linear DC motor that is moving magnet type with unipolar. In order to analyze the dynamic behaviour a mathematical model based on a simplified field analysis developed. A two dimensional finite element field solution is employed in order to illustrate the effect of yoke saturation and motor performance. It is deduced the relation between the limit value of the thrust of the linear DC motor and the dimension of the yokes.

고온초전도 자기부상자석의 최적설계에 관한 연구 (Study on the Optimal Design for HTS Magnetic Levitation Magnet)

  • 본 연구에서는 초고속 자기부상열차의 개발을 위한 기초연구의 성격을 가지고 있는 고온초전도 자기부상자석의 최적 설계를 수행하였다. 고온초전도 자기부상자석은 임계전류, 발생자장, 지상도체 등을 고려하여야 하는데 3차원 수치해석법을 이용하여 권선의 구조를 설계하였다. 권선의 형태로써 더블팬케이크형 고온초전도 권선을 선택하였으며 일정한 길이의 초전도선으로 최적의 부상조건을 가지는 구조를 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 조건은 총 800m 고온초전도선을 사용하는 가정 하에 piece length 400m로 내경 100mm인 더블팬케이크형 코일 2개를 제작하여 직렬로 연결한 부상자석이다. 제작한 자석의 인덕턴스는 279.4mH였으며 임계전류는 42A 였다. 인덕턴스, 발생자장 모두 설계 시 제시한 계산 값과 일치하는 결과를 보여주었으므로 본 연구는 성공적으로 수행되었다고 할 수 있으며 본 결과는 향후 초전도 자기부상자석의 설계에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper deals with the design of vaccum pump using moving magnet type linear oscillaory actuator based on the design procedure and the characteristic analysis. To improve the starting characteristic, the optimum spring constant is detected and redesigned. The parameter was calculated by Finite Element Method(FEM). In order to dynamic characteristic analysis. Time difference method with voltage and kinetic equation is used.

  • In the industrial field the necessity of the linear motion is increasing. We selected a moving magnet coreless type LDM, which have the advantages, such as long stoke, brushless, no cogging force. Actually, the design is accomplished using FEM analysis for the basic configuration of a magnetic circuit, and characteristic equations for coil design. In the course of design we have estimated airgap flux density and thrust.

힘 센서를 이용하지 않는 혼합형 햅틱 마스터 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Hybrid Haptic Master System Without Using a Force Sensor)

  • A hybrid type master system is proposed to take the advantage of the link mechanism and magnetic levitation mechanism without using a force sensor. Two different types of electromagnetic actuators, moving coil type and moving magnet types are used to drive the master system which is capable of 4-DOF actuation. It is designed that the rotation motions about x-y axis are decoupled and the whole system is represented by simple dynamic equations. The force reflection is achieved by using the simple relation between the force and applied current and position. The simulation and experimental results are presented to show its performance.

  • In this paper, magnetic flux distributions of several permanent magnet arrays, including Halbach array, are analyzed and compared. Also, braking force characteristics on a moving solid conductor in the eddy current brake systems with such magnet arrays are analyzed. Then, a new performance index taking into account the maximum braking force and the volume of the magnet is introduced for the comparison and case study of permanent magnet arrays. By changing the lengths, magnetization directions and the height of the permanent magnet arrays, a higher braking force per volume of the magnet can be achieved.

소형 초전도 부상자석의 특성 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of a Small Scale HTSC Levitation Magnet)

  • This paper deals with the characteristics of a small scale $high-T_c$ superconducting(HTSC) levitation system. The levitation tester. which models after electrodynamic suspension(EDS) maglev, consists of one HTSC magnet, a reaction plate, and force measuring components. Instead of moving magnet, AC current was applied to the fixed HTSC magnet. The magnet also has persistent current switch(PCS). The inductance of the magnet was 18.5 mH and total joint resistance of the magnet was $5.74{\times}10^{-7}\Omega$. AC current was applied into the HTSC magnet with various frequencies and the levitation force was calculated and measured. According to the increase of the vehicle speed, the levitation force was saturated.

  • This paper proposes inserted core type of slotless Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) to improve its low thrust density. However, by inserting the core between windings of each phase, detent force is generated. Furthermore, linear motors have the feature of structurally limited length. So, it causes the end-effect in actual operation. So, this paper applies the neural network to this model to minimize detent force and maximize thrust. Also, sub-poles used the to the end parts of the mover for compensating the end-effect.
