호텔 실내공간 색채이미지에 대한 이용자의 감정과 행동의 관계 (A Study on the Relationship Between Emotion and Behavior of User's with the Color Images of Indoor Space in Hotels)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze relationship between emotion and behavior with the color images of indoor space in hotels. The study methods evaluation experiments of emotion and behavior with computer graphic images. Study results are as follows: First, The color image according to the indoor space had a significant influence on the user's emotions. Lobby and restaurant had difference in pleasure arousal emotion by color image, and also guest room had difference in pleasure dominance emotion by color image. Second, The color image according to the indoor space had a significant influence on the user's behavior. Also lobby and restaurant had difference in movement hobby eating resting behavior by color image, and guest room had difference in hobby eating resting behavior by color image. Third, As a result of analyzing the effect of user's emotions on the behavior according to the indoor space: In the lobby, the more un-arousal increasing of users, the more hobby resting behavior increasing. And the more dominance increasing of users, the more movement hobby eating resting behavior increasing. In the restaurant, the more dominance increasing of users, the more movement eating hobby behavior increasing. The more arousal increasing of users, the more movement resting behavior increasing. The more un-arousal increasing of users, the more hobby eating behavior increasing. In the guest room, the more un-arousal dominance increasing of users, the more hobby eating resting behavior increasing. And also the more arousal increasing of users, the more movement behavior increasing.

신체움직임의 창의성 이론과 요인분석 (Creativity Theory of Body Movement and Analysis of Creativity Factor)

  • 창의성은 문제인식과 해결방법으로 상상력을 통한 새로운 이미지의 사고능력과 표현이다. 이 연구는 신체움직임의 창의성이론을 탐구하고 창의성 요인을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 신체움직임의 창의성은 첫째, 움직임 자각 둘째, 신체움직임 디자인 셋째, 움직임의 발견, 넷째, 움직임활용이라는 단계가 필요하다. 자기지각과 자아개념을 통한 새로운 이미지의 활용은 문제인식과 해결기능에 대한 창의적인 향상을 가져온다. 결론적으로 신체움직임의 창의성은 상호작용에 의한 '제3의 힘'과 '흐름의 유연성'으로 신체움직임의 무한성을 의미한다.

영상 검색을 위한 적합성 피드백의 개선 (Improvement of Relevance Feedback for Image Retrieval)

  • 본 논문에서는, 확률적 방법과 질의 위치 이동 방법을 융합하여 검색 성능을 향상시키는 영상검색 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은, 질의 영상과 데이터베이스 영상 사이의 유사도 계산에서, 확률적 방법의 유사도와 질의 위치 이동 방법의 유사도를 융합한다. 본 논문에서 이용된 확률적 방법은 부정적 예제들을 다루기에 적합하다. 반면에, 질의 위치 이동 방법은 긍정적예제의 통계적인 특성을 다룬다. 본 논문의 목적은 이러한 두 방법을 융합함으로써, 각각의 방법이 가지고 있는 단점을 극복하는 것이다. 실험결과는 제안한 방법이 확률적 방법과 질의 위치 이동 방법을 각각 적용한 경우보다 더 나은 성능을 나타낸다는 것을 보여준다.

  • This paper is intended to explore femininity the ideal beauty of body and the features in fashion pursued in the Fashion system and the Anti-Fashion Movement in the Victorian period, on which the modern fashion is based. For the informative facts needed in this paper, books on history, fashion history, feminism, art history of aestheticism and the ideal beauty of body are referred to. On the part Ⅱ of this paper, the femininity and the ideal beauty of body implied in the Aesthetic Movement and Rational Dress Movement as the anti-fashion movement in the Victorian period will be reviewed. Following are the conclusion : First, the works in Aesthetic Movement mainly include the image of sensual female. The essence of femininity is categorized by cultural value, poetic spirit. appetite for sex and self-expression. The ideal beauty of body pursued in this movement is the beauty of immatured body, which means rejection of maternity as well as appetite for sex in the form of metaphor of the power and enthusiasm of female. The features of Aesthetic Movement emphasize the image of sensual and characteristic woman. These features are expressed in the natural waist line and the vertical H silhouette of high waist, natural exposure of body by means of drapery, simplicity and decency by design without fixed forms and seemingly faded colors. Second, Rational Dress Movement attempted to evaluate the femininity in a different way and ultimately pursued masculinity. Therefore, morality, liberty, intelligence, spirituality, self-control, willingness, which had been believed to exclusively belong to male, are added to the categories of femininity. The ideal beauty of body is expressed in the form of Venus Coelestic which is refined and strong. This symbolizes woman's freeing from the fate of reproduction and subordinate relationship with male, morality, decision of one's own and willingness. The features of Rational Dress Movement represent the image of strong-willed and moral woman in its internal meaning. The features of its fashions represent the concealment of the body, emphasis on activeness in pants without decoration and simplicity in its external form. All these features resulted from the pursuit of masculinity.

영화의 시간성 표현을 위한 기호학적 모델의 제언 -들뢰즈 "운동-이미지"의 기호화 과정을 중심으로- (Semiotic Approach to the Representation Process of Time in Cinema)

  • 이 논문은 영화에서의 시간성 표현 과정에 대한 기호학적 모델을 구성하기 위해 작성된 것이다. 연구자는 영화의 시간성 표현과 관련된 기존 서사 이론의 한계를 지적하고 이에 대한 대안으로서 들뢰즈(Gille Deleuze) 영화 철학(philosophy of cinema)의 적절성을 논의했다. 들뢰즈 영화 철학은 퍼스(Charles S. Peirce)의 삼원론적 기호학을 영화에 가장 잘 적용시킨 것으로 평가될 수 있는데, 이에 따라 연구자는 우선 영화를 구성하는 기호학적 최소 단위로서의 "운동아미지" 개념을 논의한 다음 이를 기반으로 고전적 서사 영화(classic narrative cinema)와 현대 영화(modern cinema)에서 나타나는 두 가지 서로 다른 시간성 표현의 기호화 과정을 비교했다. 즉, 고전적 서사 영화에서는 "정상적인 운동이미지"가 "간접적 시간 표현"과 "이야기-서사"라는 해석체를 구성하는 기호화 과정을 거치는 반면, 현대 영화에서는 "비정상적 운동이미지"가 "직접적시간 표현"과 "시간-이미지"라는 해석차를 구성하는 또 다른 기호화 과정을 거치는 것으로 보았다. 현대 영화의 기호학 과정에서 출현하고 있는 이와 같은 "시간-이미지"는 영화와 현실 사이에 놓여진 "시간"이라는 철학적 대상을 통찰하게 만들고 기존의 가치관과 이데올로기의 상투성을 극복할 수 있게 만든다. 이러한 맥락에서 "비정상적인 운동이미지"룰 만들어 내는 현대적 영상 제작 작업은 단지 특이하고 새로운 영화적 표현을 구성하는 데에만 그치는 것이 아니라, 시간을 주요한 사유의 대상으로 취하고 새로운 철학적 사유를 하게 만드는 보다 근원적인 성격을 가질 수 있게 되는 것이다.

  • In this paper, the geometry between horizontal and vertical movement of lens is studied for automatic vergence control of horizontal moving axis stereo camera. When the disparity of stereo remains contant, the horizontal movement of camera lens for image disparity and the vertical movement for image focus have linear geometry. Using this linearity, we can control the vergence of stereo camera only by focusing of stereo camera lens.

입술움직임 영상신호를 고려한 음성존재 검출 (Speech Activity Decision with Lip Movement Image Signals)

  • 본 논문은 음성인식을 위한 음성구간 검출과정에서, 음향에너지 이외에도 화자의 입술움직임 영상신호까지 확인하도록 함으로써, 외부의 음향잡음이 음성인식 대상으로 오인식되는 것을 방지하기 위하여 시도한 것이다. 먼저, PC용 화상카메라를 통하여 영상을 획득하고, 입술움직임 여부가 식별된다. 그리고 입술움직임 영상신호 데이터는 공유메모리에 저장되어 음성인식 프로세스와 공유한다. 한편, 음성인식의 전처리 단계인 음성구간 검출과정에서는 공유메모리에 저장되어 있는 데이터를 확인함으로써 사람의 발성에 의한 음향에너지인지의 여부를 확인하게 된다. 음성인식기와 영상처리기를 연동시켜 실험한 결과, 화상카메라에 대면해서 발성하면 음성인식 결과의 출력까지 정상적으로 진행됨을 확인하였고, 화상카메라에 대면하지 않고 발성하면 음성인식 결과를 출력하지 않는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 음향에너지가 입력되더라도 입술움직임 영상이 확인되지 않으면 음향잡음으로 간주하도록 한 것에 따른 것이다.

Visual Sensing of the Light Spot of a Laser Pointer for Robotic Applications

  • In this paper, we present visual sensing techniques that can be used to teach a robot using a laser pointer. The light spot of an off-the-shelf laser pointer is detected and its movement is tracked on consecutive images of a camera. The three-dimensional position of the spot is calculated using stereo cameras. The light spot on the image is detected based on its color, brightness, and shape. The detection results in a binary image, and morphological processing steps are performed on the image to refine the detection. The movement of the laser spot is measured using two methods. The first is a simple method of specifying the region of interest (ROI) centered at the current location of the light spot and finding the spot within the ROI on the next image. It is assumed that the movement of the spot is not large on two consecutive images. The second method is using a Kalman filter, which has been widely employed in trajectory estimation problems. In our simulation study of various cases, Kalman filtering shows better results mostly. However, there is a problem of fitting the system model of the filter to the pattern of the spot movement.

Martial Arts Moves Recognition Method Based on Visual Image

  • Intelligent monitoring, life entertainment, medical rehabilitation, and other fields are only a few examples where visual image technology is becoming increasingly sophisticated and playing a significant role. Recognizing Wushu, or martial arts, movements through the use of visual image technology helps promote and develop Wushu. In order to segment and extract the signals of Wushu movements, this study analyzes the denoising of the original data using the wavelet transform and provides a sliding window data segmentation technique. Wushu movement The Wushu movement recognition model is built based on the hidden Markov model (HMM). The HMM model is trained and taught with the help of the Baum-Welch algorithm, which is then enhanced using the frequency weighted training approach and the mean training method. To identify the dynamic Wushu movement, the Viterbi algorithm is used to determine the probability of the optimal state sequence for each Wushu movement model. In light of the foregoing, an HMM-based martial arts movements recognition model is developed. The recognition accuracy of the HMM model increases to 99.60% when the number of samples is 4,000, which is greater than the accuracy of the SVM (by 0.94%), the CNN (by 1.12%), and the BP (by 1.14%). From what has been discussed, it appears that the suggested system for detecting martial arts acts is trustworthy and effective, and that it may contribute to the growth of martial arts.

Detection of a Point Target Movement with SAR Interferometry

  • The interferometric correlation, or coherence, is calculated to measure the variance of the interferometric phase and amplitude within the neighbourhood of any location within the image at a result of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) interferometric process which utilizes the phase information of the images. The coherence contains additional information that is useful for detecting point targets which change their location in an area of interest (AOI). In this research, a RGB colour composite image was generated with a intensity image (master image), a intensity change image as a difference between master image and slave image, and a coherence image generated as a part of SAR interferometric processing. We developed a technique performing detection of a point target movement using SAR interferometry and applied it to suitable tandem pair images of ERS-1 and ERS-2 as test data. The possibility of change detection of a point target in the AOI could be identified with the technique proposed in this research.
