  • In the ALC(Autoclaved lightweight concrete) manufacturing process, if the pre-cured semi-cake is removed after proper time is passed, it will be hard to retain the moisture and be easily cracked. Therefore, in this research, we took the research by multiple regression analysis to find relationship between variables for the prediction the hardness that is the control standard of the removal time. We study the relationship between Independent variables such as the V/T(Vibration Time), V/T movement, expansion height, curing time, placing temperature, Rising and C/S ratio and the Dependent variables, the hardness by multiple regression analysis. In this study, first, we calculated regression equation by the regression analysis, then we tried phased regression analysis, best subset regression analysis and residual analysis. At last, we could verify curing time, placing temperature, Rising and C/S ratio influence to the hardness by the estimated regression equation.

A Study on the Evaluation Method of the Building Safety Performance and the Prediction of Occupants′ Egress Behavior during Building Fires with Computer Simulation (컴퓨터시뮬레이션에 의한 피난행태예측 및 안전성능평가방법에 관한 연구(II))

  • In this study, the independent variables are the floor plan configulation. The dependent variables are the occupant's egress behavior, especially spatial movement pattern, and life - safety performance of building. Fire events were simulated on single story of office building. Simulation run for allowable secaping thime(180 seconds) arbitrarily selected, and involved 48 occupants. The major findings Pre as follows. 1) Computer simulation model suggested in this study can be used as the Preoccupancy evaluation method of the life-safety performance for architectural design based on prediction of occupants' egress behavior in the levels of validity and sensitivity, 2) Sucess or failure in occupants' escape is determined by decreasing walking speed caused by jamming at exits or over crowded corridor, and increasing route length caused by running about in confusion at each subdivision and corridor. 3) In floor plan configuration which safe areas located at the extreme ends of the corridor, cellular floor planning have to be avoided preventing jamming and running about in confusion at overcrowded corridor.

  • A GIS-based tunnelling risk management system (GIS-TURIMS) has been developed in this study, The developed system uses ArcView 8.2 as a basic platform and the built-in interface (VBA) has been used to perform first-order simplified analyses for prediction of tunnelling-induced ground movements and building damage assessment. The main emphasis in this study was to develop a working framework that can be used in the perspective of tunnelling risk management. The developed system is capable of carrying out computationally intensive analyses for ground movement prediction as well as building/utilities damage assessment with fully taking advantage of the GIS technologies.   • Precise run-off forecasting depends on the ability to predict quantitative rainfall intensity. This study suggests a stochastic model for 1 hour order rainfall prediction. The model simultaneously predicts rainfall intensity at all telemetered rain-gauge locations. All model parameters, velocity and direction of storm movement, radial spectrum, dimensionless time distribution of rainfall, are estimated from telemetered and historical data for the basin being predicted. Also the estimated parameters are based on the previous study. The results are the influence of dimensionless time distributions on the prediction and the model on run-off.

  • In this paper, the patterns of movement used in the mobile communication systems are adopted in the mobile computing environment to reduce handover delay and to support seamless handover for MIPv6 based on IEEE 802.11 networks. That is, RtSolPr message and PrRtAdv message can be treated before handover. As the result, it is possible to assign NCoA to MN and Next Access Router(NAR) before handover starts. This can minimize handover delay and reduce the total handover delay.

  • A full-scale simulation of steel mill reheating furnace was performed by using parallel computing technology. Turbulent flow as well as chemical reaction is considered and solved in a coupled manner while radiation is also calculated. The movement of slab is taken into account so that a more precise observation of its heating characteristics becomes possible through this numerical analysis.

  • The mechanism of nucleophilic displacement was studied by using three variable systems of ${\rho}_X,\; {\rho}_Y,\; and {\rho}_Z$ obtained from the change of substituent X, Y, and Z for the reaction of (Z)-substituted benzyl (X)-benzensulfonates with (Y)-substituted thiobenzamides in acetone at 45 ℃. The results ${\rho}_Z$<0 and ${\rho}_YZ$>${\rho}_XZ$ indicate that this reaction series proceeded via a dissociative $S_N2$ mechanism. The prediction of the movement of TS by using the sign of ${\rho}_XZ{\cdot}{\rho}_{YZ}$ accorded with the Hammond postulate.

Routing Method based on Prediction of Link State between UAVs in FANET (FANET에서 UAV간 링크 상태 예측에 기반한 라우팅 기법)

  • Today, the application area and scope of FANET(Flying Ad Hoc Network) has been extended. As a result, FANET related research are actively conducted, but there is no decision yet as the routing protocol for FANET. In this paper, we propose the OLSR-Pds (Prediction with direction and speed) which is added a method to predict status of link for OLSR protocol. The mobility of nodes are modeled using Gauss-Markov algorithm, and relative speed between nodes were calculated by derive equation of movement, and thereby we can predict link status. An experiment for comparing AODV, OLSR and, OLSR-Pds was conducted by three factors such as packet delivery ratio, end to end delay, and routing overhead. In experiment result, we were confirm that OLSR-Pds performance are superior in these three factors. OLSR-Pds has the disadvantage that requires time-consuming calculations for link state and required for computing resources, but we were confirm that OLSR-Pds is suitable for routing to the FANET environment because it has all the characteristics of proactive protocol and reactive protocol.

  • High moisture content of barley seeds, which were carried to the laboratory within 10 minutes after harvest, were stored in air tight bottle at constant temperature, and the individual moisture contents the grains were measured at predecided tim intervals. The theory of predicting the moisture movement between two kinds of different moisture content grains was tried to apply to the prediction of the moisture distribution and tried to apply to the prediction of the moisture distribution and the comparison of the predicted values with the observed dta showed the good suitability of the theory. The shape of the moisture distribution predicted form the theory were similar to the observed ones for the temperature range of 10 to $50^{\circ}C$. This study will be useful in designing the mix-storage facility or dryer.

The Prediction Factor on Organizational Commitment of the Nurse (간호사의 조직몰입 예측요인)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify the prediction factors that influence nurses' organizational commitment. Method: The sample of this study consisted of 526 full-time nurses randomly picked at 19 general hospitals in Korea. The data was analyzed by computer using SPSS 15.0 for Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Result: 1) According to general characteristics, nurses' organizational commitment levels among the sample were significantly different in age, religion, social status, marital status, clinical career, and department satisfaction. 2) Level of nurses' organizational commitment was average 2.70, job satisfaction 2.91, burnout 3.03, empowerment 3.36, autonomy 2.93, and self-efficacy 3.51. 3) Nurses' organizational commitment had significant positive correlations with job satisfaction, empowerment, self-regulation, social support, self-efficacy, clinical career, and personnel movement experience. On the other hand, it had significant negative correlations with occupational stress, burnout, and age. 4) The prediction factors which influence Nurses' organizational commitment were job satisfaction($\beta$=.405), burnout($\beta$=-.282), self-regulation($\beta$=.171), clinical career($\beta$=.135). These factors were approximately 49.6% reliable in explaining nurses' organizational commitment. Conclusion: These results can be used to develop hospitals' management strategies for increasing organizational commitment effectiveness and nursing productivity.
