Hadoop 클러스터를 위한 모니터의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Monitor for Hadoop Cluster)

  • 본 논문에서는 Hadoop 클러스터의 노드 정보와 작업 정보를 실시간으로 수집할 수 있는 새로운 모니터를 제안한다. 이 모니터는 Hadoop클러스터의 노드 정보와 작업 정보를 수집하는 Agent, 수집된 정보를 분석하고 데이터베이스에 저장하는 Collector로 구성된다. 또한 Collector를 Hadoop 클러스터에 참여하지 않은 새로운 노드에 위치시킴으로써 분석과정에서 발생하는 오버헤드로 인한 Hadoop의 작업지연을 제거한다. 제안한 모니터를 구현하고 실험적 클러스터에 적용함으로써, dead 노드의 발생을 실시간으로 파악할 수 있었다. 또한, Hadoop의 작업수행 과정에서 비효율적인 과정을 발견하고 개선함으로써 작업수행시간을 단축시킬 수 있었다.

Digital Twin based Household Water Consumption Forecasting using Agent Based Modeling

  • The continuous increase in urban population due to migration of mases from rural areas to big cities has set urban water supply under serious stress. Urban water resources face scarcity of available water quantity, which ultimately effects the water supply. It is high time to address this challenging problem by taking appropriate measures for the improvement of water utility services linked with better understanding of demand side management (DSM), which leads to an effective state of water supply governance. We propose a dynamic framework for preventive DSM that results in optimization of water resource management. This paper uses Agent Based Modeling (ABM) with Digital Twin (DT) to model water consumption behavior of a population and consequently forecast water demand. DT creates a digital clone of the system using physical model, sensors, and data analytics to integrate multi-physical quantities. By doing so, the proposed model replicates the physical settings to perform the remote monitoring and controlling jobs on the digital format, whilst offering support in decision making to the relevant authorities.

  • 지식기반사회에서 새로운 교육형태로 대두되고 있는 온라인 협력학습은 실제적이고 고차원적인 문제해결 능력을 향상시키며 학습의 몰입을 촉진하는 효과적인 방안으로 활발하게 논의되고 있다. 협력학습은 개인학습과 달리 팀을 구성하여 공동의 목적을 설정하고 과제를 수행하면서 산출물을 생성하는 복잡한 절차를 거치게 되며, 성공적인 협력학습을 위해 협력학습과정에서 학습자의 자기주도학습 능력, 그룹간 상호작용, 학습자료의 공유 촉진 전략이 필요하다. 그러나 교수자가 모든 학습자의 협력활동을 모니터하고 문제점에 대해 적극적인 조언자 역할을 수행하기에 어려운 실정이며, 기존의 협력학습지원 도구만으로는 학생들의 협력활동을 촉진시키기에는 제한적이다 따라서 본 연구에서는 온라인 협력학습에서의 상호작용을 모니터하고 촉진하기 위해 협력학습지원 에이전트(ECOLA)를 개발하였다. 협력학습지원 에이전트(ECOLA)는 협력학습모델과 협력학습 촉진전략에 기반한 모니터링 에이전트와 촉진자 에이전트로 구현되었다.

일부지역 119 구급대와 사설이송기관의 이송 서비스 이용 실태와 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Use Realities and Satisfaction with Transport Services in 119 Emergency Medical Service System and Private Transport Agent in Some Areas)

  • Purpose : Centering on users(patients) who are offered the patient transport service by the emergency medical service system in our country, the use and satisfaction are analyzed with the transport service in 119 Emergency Medical Service System and Private transport agent. Results : 1. As for personnel in ambulance cars, 119 emergency staff showed a higher boarding rate of the first-class emergency medical technicians than private transportation centers : 48.4% and 17.7%, respectively. 2. Private transportation centers showed higher user satisfaction with transportation service than 119 emergency staff, which was not statistically significant. 3. As for the case that needs to receive the transport service in the future, the ratio with the will to use 119 Emergency Medical Service System(70.9%) was indicated to be much higher than the ratio of the private transport agent(29.1%). Suggestions : First, Centers transporting first-aid patients should essentially secure a sufficient number of first-class emergency medical technicians as professional emergency medical staff to reinforce qualitative improvement in emergency medical service. Second, It is necessary to establish a systematic monitoring system and develop educational programs in order to enhance satisfaction with the use of 119 emergency staff. Third, the government or the local government needs to positively support and guide the private transport agent, which is in charge of the public medical service.

Students' Performance Prediction in Higher Education Using Multi-Agent Framework Based Distributed Data Mining Approach: A Review

  • An effective educational program warrants the inclusion of an innovative construction which enhances the higher education efficacy in such a way that accelerates the achievement of desired results and reduces the risk of failures. Educational Decision Support System (EDSS) has currently been a hot topic in educational systems, facilitating the pupil result monitoring and evaluation to be performed during their development. Insufficient information systems encounter trouble and hurdles in making the sufficient advantage from EDSS owing to the deficit of accuracy, incorrect analysis study of the characteristic, and inadequate database. DMTs (Data Mining Techniques) provide helpful tools in finding the models or forms of data and are extremely useful in the decision-making process. Several researchers have participated in the research involving distributed data mining with multi-agent technology. The rapid growth of network technology and IT use has led to the widespread use of distributed databases. This article explains the available data mining technology and the distributed data mining system framework. Distributed Data Mining approach is utilized for this work so that a classifier capable of predicting the success of students in the economic domain can be constructed. This research also discusses the Intelligent Knowledge Base Distributed Data Mining framework to assess the performance of the students through a mid-term exam and final-term exam employing Multi-agent system-based educational mining techniques. Using single and ensemble-based classifiers, this study intends to investigate the factors that influence student performance in higher education and construct a classification model that can predict academic achievement. We also discussed the importance of multi-agent systems and comparative machine learning approaches in EDSS development.

  • 고가용 E-Business모델을 위해 구축된 나중 웹 클러스터 모델은 구조적 특성상 내부 시스템 노드들이 노출되어 있으며, 불법적인 3자에 의한 고의적인 방해와 공격으로 정상적인 작업수행이 불가능할 가능성을 지고 있다. 따라서 구성된 시스템 노드들을 보호하고 불법적인 사용자로부터의 정보유출과 부당한 서비스 요구를 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 보안 시스템이 필요하나 제안한 분산 침입 탐지 시스템은 불법적인 침입을 탐지하기 위하여 일차적으로 Detection Agent를 이용한 작업요구 패킷의 검사를 수행하려, 이후 작업이 진행되었을 때 Monitoring Agent를 동하여 작업과정을 관찰하며 허용되지 않는 자원의 접근 및 요구가 발생하였을 때, 다른 시스템 노트와의 긴밀한 협조작업을 동해 침입여부를 판단한다.

  • Network management for detail analysis can cause speed decline of application in case of lack band width by traffic increase of the explosive Internet. Because a manager requests MIB value for the desired objects to an agent by management policy, and then the agent responds to the manager. Such processes are repeated, so it can cause increase of network traffic. Specially, repetitious occurrence of sending-receiving information is very inefficient for a same object when a trend analysis of traffic is performed. In this paper, an efficient SNMP is proposed to add new PDUs into the existing SNMP in order to accept time function. Utilizing this PDU, it minimizes unnecessary sending-receiving message and collects information for trend management of network efficiently. This proposed SNMP is tested for compatibility with the existing SNMP and decreases amount of network traffic largely

Two-Stage Multichannel Architecture for Oyster Product Management System

  • In this paper, we propose two-stage multichannel architecture for oyster product management system, called cloud stage and agent stage. There are two communication channels at each stage. In cloud stage, the embedded system in the smart scale communicates with the server through two channels, Ethernet or 3G/LTE mobile communication. In agent stage, PCs and smart phones called agents communicate with the server also through Internet and 3G/LTE mobile communication. Compared with previous system in which the amount of the oyster produced in oyster workplaces could be monitored only at the console of only one oyster main server, developed system makes it possible to monitor the amount of produced oyster at several PCs (or smart phones). In addition to the amount of oysters produced at all oyster workplaces the environment of oyster workplaces such as temperature and humidity can be monitored on agents to judge the freshness. Two-stage architecture with multiple channels makes it possible to monitor the amount of oyster product and environment of the oyster workplace at any place in real time.

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Detection of Malonaldehydethiobarbituric Acid (MA-TBA) Complex in Ground Pork

  • For monitoring lipid oxidation development in cooked ground pork during refrigerationm, malonaldehydethiobarbituric acid(MA-TBA) contents were measured using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). As the oxidation proceeded during refergeration, TBA-reaction substances(TBARS) absorbances increased and the corresponding HPLC peak areas also increased proportationately. The correlation coefficient between the HPLC peak areas and MA-TBA absorbance were 0.9979. The treatemtn of cetrimide, an ion pairing agent, gave a complete resolution of the MA-TBA complex and the butanol extraction of the complex increased its recovery by 37.8%. Both cetrimide treatment and butanol extraction are essential steps for analyzing MA-TBA complex in ground pork wiht HPLC. A reliable and specific measurement of NA-TBA in ground pork was successfully performed using HPLC.
