In 2018, 647 thousand tons of eggs were produced and consumed. However, the issue of pesticides used for egg in 2017 made Korean consumers worry about the food safety of eggs, and the volume of egg consumption decreased. The Korean egg industry also has another problem due to an unclear and inefficient marketing structure at the farm level. This marketing situation of eggs at the farm level in Korea needs a large-scale restructuring of the market structure, including introducing an EPC (egg processing center). Especially, the introduction of an EPC has been discussed by government officers and specialists, but the social benefit of an EPC, which will be the driving point for approving an EPC, has not been measured yet. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of introducing an EPC in Korea. Through an analysis using EDM (equilibrium displacement model), a few findings are presented. First, the introduction of an EPC may increase the transparency of price discovery and decrease the transaction cost. And thus, it results in a higher producer price, lower consumer price, and larger quantity at market equilibrium. Second, an EPC will improve the level of food safety of eggs, which can increase the satisfaction of domestic producers and consumers. Third, the introduction of an EPC may create new consumption of eggs. Based on these three effects, the new social benefits in monetary terms from the introduction of an EPC in Korea could be 23.9 - 35.2 billion won.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that determine daily financial resources interchange between adult children and their parents. The data were drawn from KLIPS(Korea Labor and Income Panel Study), vol. 5(2002). From this dataset, one thousand eight hundred and thirty six adult children's households that had interchanged with or transferred financial resources to or from their parents were selected for this study. The results of this study were as follow: First, when compared to non-interchanging households, the households that interchanged financial resources with their parents tended to have a household head who is economically active, and had relatively plenty of financial resources. Second, the amount of the transaction was much larger for the adult children's households that were reciprocally interchanging financial resources with their parents than the households that transferred resources one-way, either taking from or giving to parents. Third, the main determinants of interchanges with their parents were the household head's demographic characteristic(sex, age, and education) and residential area what affected the amount of the exchanges, on the other hand, were the household head's demographic characteristic(sex, age, and education), household income, and assets.

Tourism products involve the transfer of money that is flowing to countries with partners or borders, which do not possess any relations surrounding their business environment. Suitable platforms must be generated by the tourism industry, which are beneficial to users when their demands are satisfied based on financial, technology, knowledge, and industry matters. Intermediaries are applied to alleviate different problems that are related to the non-fulfilment of contracts of existing users and service providers who are offering their services and represent a reliable third party. However, it is significant that intermediaries must be reliable when charges are incurred for any possible commission. Cryptocurrencies rely on blockchain technology to provide smoothness in money interchange without the need for reliable third parties. This interchange allows an increasing number of different new forms, which are related to different customer-to-customer transactions. The study attempts to provide an appropriate answer to the main research question, which is: 'Will the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies bring new types of customer-to-customer markets from a technological, organizational, and environmental perspective?'.
With the availability of big customer data and advances in machine learning techniques, the prediction of customer behavior at the session-level has attracted considerable attention from marketing practitioners and scholars. This study aims to predict customer purchase conversion at the session-level by employing customer profile, transaction, and clickstream data. For this purpose, we develop a multimodal deep learning fusion model with dynamic and static features (i.e., DS-fusion). Specifically, we base page views within focal visist and recency, frequency, monetary value, and clumpiness (RFMC) for dynamic and static features, respectively, to comprehensively capture customer characteristics for buying behaviors. Our model with deep learning architectures combines these features for conversion prediction. We validate the proposed model using real-world e-commerce data. The experimental results reveal that our model outperforms unimodal classifiers with each feature and the classical machine learning models with dynamic and static features, including random forest and logistic regression. In this regard, this study sheds light on the promise of the machine learning approach with the complementary method for different modalities in predicting customer behaviors.

With the great development of technology in all fields these days, including the financial field, people have gone into cryptocurrency trading, without prior knowledge or experience, which made them prey and coveted by hackers through phishing attacks. Therefore, we will study cases where people can be a victim of phishing because cryptocurrency occurs without an intermediary, such as banks and monetary institutions. It is a form of peer-to-peer transaction, physical wallets, and fake investing. This study aims to know the concept of a phishing attack on cryptocurrencies, and to measure the extent of peoples awareness of the security risks on these currencies. Previous literature will be reviewed, and a questionnaire will be published on traders who use cryptocurrency trading platforms, and then we collect data and analyze the answers provided, so that we can suggest educational solutions to these phishing problems.
Purpose - This research aims to investigate the factors that influence consumer's overseas online shopping behavior. Consumers adopt overseas online shopping as a new buying way and more and more consumers prefer overseas online shopping than traditional shopping ways. Consumers' behaviors in this shopping experience can be different from other shopping experiences. With the increase of overseas online shopping, we need to find antecedents and results of overseas online shopping. Especially there would be positive or negative factors which influence overseas online shopping motivation. To find the relationship, this study examines self-efficacy and impulsivity as major factors which influence overseas online shopping. We also suggest that several attitude factors increase self-efficacy and it is positively related to customer satisfaction. On the other hand, we assume that overseas online shopping factors influence impulsivity of buying and it will decrease customer satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - This empirical study data were collected from Korean people who experience overseas online shopping. The subjects for this study were confined to shoppers who used overseas online shopping within the past six months. A total of 267 responses were gathered. SPSS 23.0, PLS 2.0 software were used in the data analysis. Descriptive statistics were used to show sample characteristics. We examined reliability, validity test for constructs. All measurement items used seven-point scales(1= very strong disagree, 7 = very strongly agree) drawn from previously published papers. Partial Least Square method was applied to find the relationship between antecedent factors and dependent factors and hypotheses were estimated. Results - Results show that perceived superiority, perceived ease of use, perceived transaction safety, perceived behavioral control positively affect self-efficacy. Self-efficacy influences positively to consumer's post purchase satisfaction. Perceived monetary benefit and perceived uniqueness motivated impulse buying. This can make consumer's post purchase dissatisfaction. Conclusions - This paper attempted to confirm the existence of both the positive and negative faces of overseas online shopping. The result reveals that self-efficacy is a major factor which may increase satisfaction in the overseas online shopping. Usually, we can think monetary benefit and uniqueness of products motivate overseas online shopping. But it can also intrigue impulse buying and negatively affect customer relationship. Therefore companies should provide enough products information to their potential customers and they might apply adequate processes such as recommendation, comparing systems to build long term relationship with their customers.
European Commission drafted and proposed the Common European Sales Law(CESL) to the European Parliament for the realization of a uniform set of international private law rules within the EU internal market. Since its purpose is for free international commercial activities for the sale of goods, for the supply of digital content and for related services, it was proposed to enable EU Member States to adopt or supplement as their substantive law according to their options. This study is relate to the legal bases on termination of a contract under CESL, they are composed of three parts: damages and interest, restitution and prescription. Damages and interest are divided into damages, general provisions on interest on late payments, and late payment by traders. Damages are explained by dividing into right to damages, general measure of damages, foreseeability of loss, loss attributable to creditor, reduction of loss, substitute transaction, and current price. Restitution is described by dividing into restitution on revocation, payment for monetary value, payment for use and interest on money received, compensation for expenditure and equitable modification. Prescription is explained by dividing into general provisions, periods of prescription and their commencement and extension of periods of prescription. General provisions explain right subject to prescription into a right to enforce performance of an obligation and any right ancillary to such a right. Regarding period of prescription, the short one is two years and the long one is ten years. However, in the case of a right to damages for personal injuries, period of prescription for such right is thirty years. Regarding commencement, the short one begins to run from the time when the creditor has become, or could be expected to have become, aware of the facts as a result of which the right can be exercised, while the long one begins to run from the time when the debtor has to perform. However, in the case of a right to damages, the CESL clarifies that it begins to run from the time of the act which gives rise the right.
As the number of smartphone users is increasing with the development of mobile devices, the range of monetary transaction from the individual use is increasing. Therefore, hacking methods are diversified and the information forgery of mobile devices has been a current issue. The forgery via apps in mobile devices is a hacking method that creates an app similar to well-known apps to deceive the users. The forgery attack corresponds to the violation of integrity, one of three elements of security. Due to the forgery, the value and credibility of an app decreases with the risk increased. With the forgery in app, private information and data can be stolen and the financial losses can occur. This paper examined the forgery, and suggested a way to detect it, and sought the countermeasure to the forgery.
The purpose of this paper is to estimate the external diseconomies of an unwelcomed facility on the nearby houses. The facility and the area studied are Dangin-Ri power plant in Mapo-Gu, Seoul and the residential district surrounding it respectively. The nearby housing prices have been changed according to the time and circumstances of the public announcements about the reconstruction or removal plans of the plant. These price changes are regarded as the capitalized values of the external diseconomies due to the plant. This study is based on the hedonic price theory in order to estimate the diseconomies in monetary value. The tools for the estimation are four models of multiple regression with the transaction price as the dependant variable and various housing characteristics including the external effects of the plant as the independent variables. The sample analyzed is 833 house transactions for the past 5 years in the research area. The facts found are as follows; First, the most suitable functional form for the estimation is confirmed to be the linear model. Second, there are significant differences in influence on the housing values among the independent variables, that is, locational characteristics, physical features, and environmental changes with time. Third, the external diseconomy is estimated as \80,137,807 in case that the plant would be reconstructed in the underground of the present site, whereon a substitutional public park would be constructed and as \59,142,248 in case that the plant would move away.

Recently, e portion of on-line stock brokerage has been rapidly increased to be more than 50%, on the basis of contracted money. The usage of wCTS(Web Based Cyber Trading Systems) has now got into the steady state over the initial diffusion stage, which means wCTS has got more-than-half customer base in on-line service. Therefore, brokerage service providers have their competitive strategic focus on customer retention through the enhancement of customer loyalty. This study provides framework and survey results on explanation of wCTS user's loyalty, what and how factors affect wCTS user's loyalty. We adopt the results of early studies on information technology acceptance and diffusion such as TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) and IDT(Innovation Diffusion Theory). We also referred loyalty theory of marketing area and studios on CTS usage. We categorized explanation factors as three groups characteristics of users, characteristics of system, social environment. And we assumed that these three factors could affect the loyalty through two parameters : customer satisfaction and trust to the system. This study firstly shows that the ease of use and usefulness, the major factors of TAM. can also be applied to the loyalty of wCTS with resulting that the usefulness is more important than the ease of use In wCTS. Secondly, it shows that the innovative and risk-sensitive user has the lower degree of loyalty. Thirdly, it shows that the satisfaction and trust impact the loyalty simultaneously, the trust particularly impacts more strongly than the loyalty, due to the characteristics of monetary transaction in wCTS. This study provides meaningful results to the other on-line EC service fields as a first empirical research regarding the loyalty to wCTS which is a typical on-line EC service.
