열매체유 유동층 열교환기의 전열성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Heat Transfer Performance of Heating Medium Oil Fluidized Bed Heat Exchanger)

  • The heat transfer performance of heating medium oil fluidized bed heat exchanger was measured. The operation variables were air flow rate, air inlet temperature, moisture content, water flow rate and water inlet temperature. The outside heat transfer coefficient was determined from the heat exchanger experiment and its experimental correlation was determined as a function of air velocity and viscosity of heating medium oil. Effect of viscosity was well agreed with the previous studies. Errors of the correlation equation was less than about 10% for outside heat transfer coefficient developed in this study when compared with the measured value. Hot water with the temperature greater than $77^{\circ}C$ could be produced by using the heating medium oil fluidized bed heat exchanger.

원격 측정 기법을 이용한 토양 함수비의 측정 (Soil Moisture Content Estimation Using Remote Sensing Technique)

  • 원격 측정 방법은 지표로부터 방출된 방사선의 관측으로부터 지표면의 특성을 추정하는데 기초를 두고 있으며 이 방법을 사용하여 연구되어지는 수문학적 인자에는 지표면 온도, 증발산, 토양 함수비, 강우 그리고 강설 등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 관측된 광명온도와 모의된 광명온도로부터 피복이 안된 토양의 함수비 산정에 대한 방법을 소개한다. 피복이 안된 토양에서의 초단파 방출은 함수비, 토양의 온도와 표면 조도에 의존하게 된다. 이 방법은 표면 조도의 영향을 고려하기 위한 Fresnel 반사 계수의 수정과 함께 방사선 전달 모델(radiative transfer model)에 기본을 두고 있는데 피복이 안된 매끈한 표면과 서로 다른 표면 조도를 가진 표면에 대해 분석을 실시한다. 연구의 결과는 표면 조도의 영향이 토양의 광명온도를 증가시키고 광명온도와 함수비 사이의 감소경사를 작게함을 보여주고 있다.

직접접촉식 액화천연가스 기화기의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Direct Contact LNG Evaporator)

  • This study addresses the phenomena of bubbling, icing, eruption, component varieties of the evaporated natural gas, and volumetric heat transfer coefficients obtained during the operation of a proposed LNG evaporator between LNG and water in direct contact. In the present investigation, the explosive and eruption phenomena within the water column were not observed during the entire operation of the heat exchanger. Compared with the natural gas produced by conventional LNG evaporator, the analysis of the gas produced by the direct contact LNG evaporator shows that nitrogen, methane, and ethane components were reduced by 0.002~0.007mol%(4~14%), 1.6~1.92mol%(1.9~2.3%) and 0.17~1.28mol%(1.1~8.4%) respectively, while the moisture content was rather increased by 0.51~0.76mol%. The maximum volumetric heat transfer coefficient of the direct contact heat exchanger was found to be $21, 800kW/m^3\cdotK$.

소나무 원목의 천연건조 중 함수율 변화: II. 소나무 원목의 천연건조 중 함수율 변화 예측 (Moisture Content Change of Korean Red Pine Logs During Air Drying: II. Prediction of Moisture Content Change of Korean Red Pine Logs under Different Air Drying Conditions)

  • 천연건조 중 목재의 함수율 변화 예측모형을 제시하기 위하여 15본의 소나무 원목에 대한 천연건조를 수행하였다. 초기함수율이 68.7%인 6본의 소나무 원목에 대하여 여름철에 천연건조를 시작한 후 약 880일이 경과한 후의 최종함수율은 17.4%이었다. 초기함수율이 35.8%인 9본의 소나무 원목에 대하여 겨울철에 천연건조를 시작한 후 약 760일이 경과한 후의 최종함수율은 16.0%이었다. 소나무 원목의 말구지름, 온도, 상대습도, 풍속을 독립변수로 결정하고, 천연건조 중 감소한 함수율을 종속변수로 다중회귀분석을 진행한 결과, 결정계수 0.925의 회귀모형을 얻을 수 있었다. 소나무 원목의 특성인 초기함수율과 말구지름이 기상조건인 온도, 상대습도, 풍속에 비하여 천연건조 중 함수율 감소에 미치는 영향이 더 크게 나타났다. 천연건조 중 내부함수율의 분포 및 함수율 변화를 예측하기 위하여 2차원 물질전달 해석을 수행하였다. 건조일수를 서로 다르게 적용하고, 수분확산계수 및 표면방사계수를 결정하는 기상조건을 다르게 적용한 2가지의 예측모형을 제시하였다. 2가지 적용 방법의 오차는 0.1 - 0.8%의 범위였으며, 측정값과의 차이는 2.2 - 3.6%의 범위였다. 다양한 초기함수율과 말구지름의 소나무 원목에 대한 천연건조 중 내부함수율을 측정하고, 각각의 기상조건에 대한 목재 내 수분이동계수를 산출하면 예측모형의 오차를 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

원적외선 가열에 의한 농산물의 건조특성 (Drying Characteristics by Infrared Heating of agricultural products)

  • Infrared heating has been traditionally used in industrial applications for processes such as dehydration of food industrial. This heating method involves the application of radiation in the wavelength range of 2 to 50 micrometers. In this work, simultaneous heat balance equations were developed to simulate the infrared radiation heating of agricultural products. The equations assume that moisture diffuses to the outer boundaries of the material in liquid form and evaporation occurs at the surface of the agricultural products. Energy for moisture evaporation is supplied by the infrared radiant energy. The optimum temperature and drying time for the best drying conditions of changing the red peppers with the moisture content of 18% and the restore rate of 80~85% are $80^{\circ}C$ and 44 hours. The performance of radiation tubes coating with the radiation paint developed in this research has the energy of $2.27{\times}103W/m^2{\mu}m$, $150^{\circ}C$ within the scope of radiation wave length of $2{\sim}30{\mu}m$ and has the radiation 0.92~0.93, which is superior to the general radiation tubes. The extinction coefficient according to the band pass filter using the 4 flux theory ha higher dependability on wave length, accounting for $2{\sim}17{\mu}m$ and $5{\times}105{\sim}106m-1$. A comparison between the theoretical energy transfer whose figures are interpreted according to 4 flux theory and the experimental energy transfer of far infrared dryer leads to the findings of the agreement less than 5%.

원적외선 가열에 의한 고추의 건조특성 (Drying Characteristics of Red Peppers by Infrared Heating)

  • Infrared heating has been traditionally used in industrial applications for processes such as dehydration of food industrial. This heating method involves the application of radiation in the wavelength range of 5~50 micrometers. In this work, simultaneous heat balance equations were developed to simulate the infrared radiation heating of red peppers. The equations assume that moisture diffuses to the outer boundaries of the material in liquid form and evaporation occurs at the surface of the red peppers. Energy for moisture evaporation is supplied by the infrared radiant energy. The equations were validated with experimental data on surface temperature and average moisture content of red peppers. Average deviations of predicted surface red peppers temperature and average red peppers moisture from experimental data were 323~353K and 50~80%, respectively. The spectral extinction coefficients in the wavelength range $1.5<{\lambda}<27$ micrometer at 293K for Red Peppers were determined from results of reflection measurements and the four flux radiative heat transfer calculation. The radiation extinction coefficients were obtained from effective drying factor the temperature 373K.

  • Microwave polarimetric backscattering from a various types of grassland canopies has been analyzed by using the first-order radiative transfer theory in this paper. Leaves in the grassland are modeled by rectangular resistive sheets, which sizes (widths and lengths) and orientations (elevation and azimuth angles) are randomly distributed. Surface roughness and soil moisture of the ground plane under the grass canopy is considered in this computation. The backscattering coefficients of grasslands are computed for different radar parameters (angles, frequencies and Polarizations) as well as different canopy Parameters (size and orientation distributions of leaves, canopy depth, moisture contents of leaves and soil, rms height and correlation length of soil surface). A radar system for 15GHz has been fabricated and used for measurement of the scattering coefficient from a grass canopy. The computation result obtained by the scattering model for the grass canopy is compared with the measurements.

  • Concrete is shown the time dependent behavior after placing. The time dependent behavior of normal strength concrete that is used usually in present, were already examined closely lots of parameters by several investigators. however, high strength concrete is that the material characteristics are not definite and the experimental data are lacking. So, The goal of this study is to propose the material characteristics models, and to develop the routine of the time dependent behavior above 60 MPa. The thermal conductivity, the specific heat, the moisture diffusion coefficient, and the surface coefficient are proposed the suitable models through the parametric study. The structural element is used the 8-node solid element. The matrix equation is developed considering the transient heat transfer and moisture diffusion theory. The application of the time dependent behavior is used the finite differential method.

식물층에서의 편파별 후방 산란 측정과 산란 모델의 비교 (Comparison between Measurements and Scattering Model for Polarimetric Backscattering from Vegetation Canopies)

  • 본 논문은 후방 산란 계수 및 지표면 특성(ground truth)에 대한 측정 방법을 기술하며 후방 산란 계수 측정값과 radiative transfer 이론을 적용하여 개발된 산란 모델을 비교함으로써 산란 모델의 정확성을 검증한다. R 밴드 $(1.7\sim2.0GHz)$의 주파수 대역에서 polarimetric scatterometer 시스템으로 한강생태공원의 수풀 지형에서의 후방 산란 계수를 입사 각도의 변화와 지표면 수분 함유량의 변화에 따라 측정한다. 이 측정 결과를 지표 산란 모델과 비교한 결과 동일 편파의 경우 비교적 잘 일치하며 교차 편파의 경우 보정을 해줌으로써 산란 모델의 정확성을 얻을 수 있다.

The Processing Technology of Soy Protein Meat Analog Using Twin-Screw Extruder - Heat Transfer Analysis of Cooling Die -

  • Soy protein meat analog was produced using a twin-screw extruder attached with a cooling die. Heat transfer analysis was performed for cooling dies with various die sizes at the four different moisture contents of feed during extrusion process. The experimental design consisted of two cooling die widths (30 and 60 mm), three cooling die lengths (100, 200, and 300 mm), four product moisture contents (71.2, 67.0, 61.6 and 55.8%), and water and water plus ethylene glycol as cooling material. When water was used as cooling medium, the values of equivalent overall heat transfer coefficient $(U_e)$ for each die width of 30 and 60 mm were in the range of 187.0 - 341.4 and $358.5-191.6W/m^2^{\circ}C$ depending on the size of die length. Convective heat transfer coefficients between cooling water and inside die wall of cooling channel $(h_c)$ for both die widths of 30 and 60 mm were 588.5, 416.1, and $339.8W/m^2^{\circ}C$ for each die length of 100, 200, and 300 mm. Convective heat transfer coefficients between product and inside die wall of product channel $(h_p)$ for each die width of 30 and 60 mm were in the range of $434.6-888.1W/m^2^{\circ}C$ and $460.7-1014.5W/m^2^{\circ}C$ depending on the size of die length. When water plus ethylene glycol was used as cooling medium, the values of $U_e$ were in the range of $143.9-319.6W/m^2^{\circ}C$ and $177.8-332.7W/m^2^{\circ}C$ for each die width of 30 and 60 mm depending on the size of die length.
