This paper presents a novel K-band (18 GHz) 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (16-QAM) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM)-based $2{\times}2$ line-of-sight multi-input multi-output communication system. The system can deliver 356 Mbps on a 56 MHz channel. Alignment mismatches, such as amplitude and/or phase mismatches, between the transmitter and receiver antennas were examined through hardware experiments. Hardware experimental results revealed that amplitude mismatch is related to antenna size, antenna beam width, and link distance. The proposed system employs an alignment mismatch compensation method. The open-loop architecture of the proposed compensation method is simple and enables facile construction of communication systems. In a digital modem, 16-QAM OFDM with a 512-point fast Fourier transform and (255, 239) Reed-Solomon forward error correction codecs is used. Experimental results show that a bit error rate of $10^{-5}$ is achieved at a signal-to-noise ratio of approximately 18.0 dB.

As a mirror of its time, fashion exactly reflects the trend of today' s society. In addition, as a tool to satisfy our desire and express images, it brings diverse image changes in people's minds. This kind of pattern is frequently found in wedding images, especially in wedding dresses. When it comes to a wedding dress, in general, we often think of a modest and pure-white one. In modem times, however, people prefer a differentiated image which reflects their personality and ego. In other words, it is an important means of expressing their own personality by focusing on their active and personal aspects and getting away from the passive, stable and formative aspects in the past. These days, a combination of narcissism and eroticism is found on wedding dresses. This kind of trend has been expressed into romanticism. In terms of the latest sensitive wedding dress trend, unique and creative couture wedding dresses have appeared. Therefore, this study has classified this kind of trend into two categories; Formative and Design aspects. According to an analysis on the formative and design aspects of romanticism in wedding dresses, diverse characteristics were observed in shape, color, material and ornament in the Formative Aspect. In terms of design, the characteristics of sensuality, ornament, exoticism and compromise were observed.

현대인들에게는 정보와 시간이 매우 중요하며, 각 개인에 맞는 특화된 정보를 제공하고 알려주는 비서시스템에 대한 연구가 폭넓게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 날씨나 기온, 뉴스, 교통 정보 등의 사용자가 원하는 정보를 시간과 함께 제공하는 개인 비서 시스템 (Personal Secretary System) 일명 지니(Genie) 시스템을 개발한다. 지니 시스템에서는 뉴스, 날씨와 온도, 버스 도착 시간을 포함한 교통 정보, 그리고 메모 등의 정보를 시간과 함께 알려주어 사용자의 삶의 여유를 찾고, 안락한 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 것으로 예상된다.

The museum has been developed and changed variety by a social change and extention of its concept and social role. At modem times, context is a important fact in museum architecture in the city. These mean that museum architecture is combined with rather the relationship its surroundings than completion its constructing. Recently, Many studies were continued on the assumption that the function and role of museum has been changed variety by a social change. But most of them were centered on changing choronogical typology of museum layouts and classifing morphology of museum. This study is to analyze harmony and connection about pinakothek der moderne with surounding conditions and to know how to design its spacial configuration. As a result of this study, firstly, it was confirmed that pinakothek der moderne came up with an idea which was design method about planning of modern museum in classic museums district. Seondly, it come under the modern museum but has classical spacial form and faculty. These mean that it is not only a solution about required functions but also a trial that is a significance for solving historical context and esteeming the classic space.

Due to international law the Antarctic is currently the best protected large ecosystem on earth, providing the opportunity for scientific research into processes of both regional and global importance. However, it is impossible to carry out research activities without minor disturbances to the environment. The Weddell Sea with its shelf inhabiting fauna can be considered to be representative for the entire Antarctic shelf with exceptions. It has generally escaped major anthropogenic impact but it is the only area in the high latitude Antarctic where long-term research fishing has been carried out. There are two main results combining aspects of nature conservation and benthos research. Firstly, the use of dredges has clearly decreased over the last two decades, whilst the use of non-invasive underwater photography and video has significantly increased. Secondly, during the same period icebergs destroyed an area of the seafloor and its fauna more than 2000-times greater than the area affected by research trawls. The increased use of imaging methods, Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and other modem instruments, as well as statistically based and coordinated sampling strategies can contribute to both a better understanding of ecosystem function and to an ongoing reduction in anthropogenic impact.

본 논문은 IEEE 802.15.4의 MAC 계층에서 노드간 거리와 환경에 따라 적절한 전송전력 값을 설정하여 무선 모뎀의 에너지 소비를 최적화하는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 적절한 전송전력을 결정할 때 이진검색 기법으로 빠르게 최적의 전송전력을 찾을 수 있고, 다수의 메시지 전송에 따르는 오버헤드를 최소화할 수 있다. 결정된 전송전력은 데이터 패킷을 전송할 때 사용되고, 데이터-수신확인 패킷의 교환과정에서 전파환경에 따라 변경된 네트워크 품질에 따라 동적으로 수정된다. 시뮬레이션 실험결과 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 IEEE 802.15.4 표준에 비해 에너지 소비량은 30% 감소하고, 단위 에너지양에 의한 데이터 전송량은 2.5배 증가하는 결과를 보였다.

일제시대 세 차례에 걸쳐서 출간된 $\ulcorner$조선도서해제$\lrcorner$는 다음과 같은 현대적 목록의 특성을 갖추고 있다. 첫째, 각각의 저록에는 서명, 권책수, 편저자, 판본을 기입하고 저술의 시기, 저자, 동기, 구성 및 내용, 편저자의 전기 등을 포괄하여 해당 문헌을 해제하였다. 둘째, 이 목록은 시부분류체계에 의한 주제검색, 오십음순색인에 의한 서명검색, 왕호표, 편저자성별표에 의한 인명검색을 가능하게 하였다. 셋째, 각각의 저록에는 규장각도서번호를 첨부함으로써 해당 도서의 배열위치를 알 수 있게 하였다.

This study lists the vocabulary of the inscriptions on SeoGwol-YeongGeon-DoGam-UiGwe(西闕營建都監儀軌 1831). This study also deciphers and explains the meanings of them. In advance, this study compares them with the vocabulary of the national language in the middle ages and in modem times. There are two important missions in deciphering a transcription marking of the architectural vocabulary of UiGwe(儀軌). One is to gain an understanding of the reading method of transcription marking and the other is an explanation of what that means. As a result, we can correctly understand the UiGwe(儀軌) written in transcription marks. If we could decipher the transcription markings of the documents as it is, we cannot only recover plenty of vocabulary related with characteristic architecture in the age of the later Joseon Dynasty, but also correct wrongly used vocabulary in the present. As a result, we can standardize and adjust the vocabulary use of Korean traditional architecture. In advance, we can correct errors of spelling and mistaken explanations in the Korean Encyclopedia.

The purpose of this study is to examine the expressional characteristics and effects of Diabolism image that appeared in fashion illustration. The concept of evil from ancient times is arranged with more basic pain, unhappiness, breakdown, fear, ignorance, sadness, imperfection, death, disease, and ugliness than it can be understandable in modern society. However, as the concept of evil is included in sacred ground of art and is begun to understand by the ugliness of broad sense, the evil and ugliness were recognized as subordinate concepts which fertilizing beauty. Also, image characteristics of Diabolism in pop culture are taking charge roles that remove visual discordance to decadent and mysterious beauty and trying to find new beauty by presentation of bad-tasted style. The aesthetic and expressional characteristics of Diabolism in modem visual media have something in common which is classified into five shapes: Negative image, Symbolic line and color, Transformation, Devilish shape, and Fantastic image. The Diabolism expressions in fashion illustration since 1980 show the possibility of image expression as a new technical field because they differ from existing expression methods and viewpoints of beauty. Therefore, the practical use of devilish image to express excessive aesthetic sense can expand the extent of image expression.

This paper is a study on the anthroposophic characteristics shown in the first Goetheanum. Rudolf Steiner promoted anthroposophy base on the critique of modem times. His philosophy has developed in various areas such as medical science, agriculture, education, and art. In particular, his thinking was well expressed in the first Goetheanum which was built for Anthroposophical Society. The anthrososophic architectural theory is defined here as application of cosmology, metamorphology and geometry. Steiner defined geometry as a unconscious awareness inscribed in skeletal system of human body as humans have evolved in the process of cosmological development. As a result, Steiner's architecture was able to create metamorphological spaces with harmonizing geometric and organic factors. In respect of decoration, the shapes of plants applied to the decoration still kept individuality because of being made manually, thus perfect symmetrical architecture was impossible. Moreover, the first Goetheanum placed an emphasis on formative dynamics. This was to wake an individual's self-conscienceless up, by enabling him to experience with all the senses without reasoning from the precedent.
