The development of modern ICT technology constitutes cyber world by using infrastructure in country and society. There is no border in cyber world. Countries around the world are carrying out cyber attacks for their own benefit. A cyber killer strategy is needed to defend cyber attacks. In order to defend the cyber attack or to determine the responsibility of attack, it is important to grasp the attacker origin point. Strategic cyber kill chains are needed to strike against the attacker origin. In this paper, we study the analysis of attacker origin. And analyze the cyber kill chain for attacker origin point strike. Study the efficient and customized cyber kill chain strategy for attacking the origin point. The cyber kill chain strategy will be a practical strategy to replace the power of nuclear and missiles with asymmetric power.

Active radar reflector may be less familiar, since their uses have been limited to military applications, especially the enhancement of the effective radar cross-sections of missile test range in the drone aircraft and missiles. Perhaps the most widely-Down applications of radar transponders are Identification Friend or Foe(IFF) and its civilian counterpart secondary surveilliance radar for Air Traffic Control(ATC), and most recently, as Search And Rescue Transponder(SART) in the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System(GMDSS). Since it happens frequently accidents on the sea, the problems of the contamination more seriously considered. The conventional navigation buoy and utilities are not sufficient to maintain the safety of the sea and thus new structured concept must be considered. Therefore, this paper propose and implement the active radar reflector with a enhanced function. The results are shown that the performance of the system is significantly improved comparing with the conventional utilities.

It is crucial to set up early the required performance of surface ship for preventing the risk factors such as an excess of performance, cost and period in development stage. In this study, MOP and MOE are proposed to establish the method for deriving alternatives, MOP represents the defensive effect for anti ship missiles and MOE is the ratio of cost and performance. The 16 engagement scenarios which selectively install RF decoy, RF jammer, CIWS and anti air missile are suggested. The simulation results by using NORAM tool operated by ROK Navy show that the ship survivability is 0.605~0.975 and MOP is 0.301~0.887. The analyzed results represent the operating scenario with RF decoy, RF jammer and short range anti air missile is the best cost and effectiveness measure.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a new inspection period of ${\triangle}{\triangle}$ guided missiles by analyzing their reliability using field data. The ${\triangle}{\triangle}$ guided missile has an inspection period of five years which was determined using prediction data during its development process. However, from the analysis of its field data, it was shown that the inspection period could be extended to more than 18 years. Based on this result, a policy is proposed to reevaluate the inspection period by means of practical reliability tests.

Stealth technology is a technique to avoid detection from detectors such as radar and infrared seekers. In particular, detection by infrared signature is more threatening because infrared missiles detect heat from the aircraft itself. Therefore, infrared stealth technology is essential for ensuring the survival of aircraft and unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAV). In this study, we analyzed aerodynamic and infrared stealth performance in relation to UCAV nozzle design. Based on simulation results, a double serpentine nozzle was effective in reducing the infrared signature because it could shield high-temperature components in the engine. In addition, we observed that the infrared signature was reduced at the turning position of the duct located at the rear part of the double serpentine nozzle.

Ground-based interceptors(GBI) comprise a major element of the strategic defense against hostile targets like Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles(ICBM) and reentry vehicles(RV) dispersed from them. An optimum design of the subsystems is required to increase the performance and reliability of these GBI. Propulsion subsystem design and optimization is the motivation for this effort. This paper describes an effort in which an entire GBI missile system, including a multi-stage solid rocket booster, is considered simultaneously in a Genetic Algorithm(GA) performance optimization process. Single goal, constrained optimization is performed. For specified payload and miss distance, time of flight, the most important component in the optimization process is the booster, for its takeoff weight, time of flight, or a combination of the two. The GBI is assumed to be a multistage missile that uses target location data provided by two ground based RF radar sensors and two low earth orbit(LEO) IR sensors. 3Dimensional model is developed for a multistage target with a boost phase acceleration profile that depends on total mass, propellant mass and the specific impulse in the gravity field. The monostatic radar cross section (RCS) data of a three stage ICBM is used. For preliminary design, GBI is assumed to have a fixed initial position from the target launch point and zero launch delay. GBI carries the Kill Vehicle(KV) to an optimal position in space to allow it to complete the intercept. The objective is to design and optimize the propulsion system for the GBI that will fulfill mission requirements and objectives. The KV weight and volume requirements are specified in the problem definition before the optimization is computed. We have considered only continuous design variables, while considering discrete variables as input. Though the number of stages should also be one of the design variables, however, in this paper it is fixed as three. The elite solution from GA is passed on to(Sequential Quadratic Programming) SQP as near optimal guess. The SQP then performs local convergence to identify the minimum mass of the GBI. The performance of the three staged GBI is validated using a ballistic missile intercept scenario modeled in Matlab/SIMULINK.
To engage multiple missiles in single launcher against multiple targets, launcher system has to operate for optimized launch angle to each target sequentially. If the launch angle sequence is simply defined according to the target assignment order only, overall engagement time would be increased, and even in some engagement scenarios, it could be possible to miss some moving targets being out of proper engagement area. Therefore, the study on methodology for a real-time decision of optimized launch angle sequence is necessary. In this paper, the automatic decision model of launch angle sequence was suggested to minimize total engagement time by analyzing the simulation results of all engagement sequence set for multiple moving target scenario. Performance of proposed methodology for decision of optimal launch angle sequence was verified by comparing with the optimal or suboptimal sequence obtained from simulation results.

The development of modern warfare detection technology is increasingly threatening the survivability of aircraft. Among them, IR-seeking missiles greatly affect the survivability of aircraft and are a main factor that reduces the success rate of aircraft missions. In order to increase aircraft survivability, studies on shape-modifying nozzles with added curvature are being actively conducted. In this study, we selected a double serpentine nozzle among shape-modifying nozzles to increase aircraft survivability. We then investigated the effects of the location of the maximum area change rate of the nozzle. It was confirmed that the location of the change rate of area affects the thrust and exit temperature of the nozzle. In addition, it was shown that the thrust penalty was reduced as the position of the change rate of the maximum area was located at the rear of the nozzle.
The operation of the precision-guided missiles with seekers is becoming more and more dominant since the modern wars became geographically localized like anti-terror campaigns and civil wars. Imaging seekers are relatively low-price and applicable to various operational conditions. The image tracker, however, requires highly advanced method for the target tracking under harsh missile flight condition. Missile roll can reduce the tracking performance since it introduces big differences in imagery. The missile roll is inevitable because of the disturbance and flight control error. Consequently, the errors of the subsystems should be under control for the stable performance of the tracker and the whole system. But the performance prediction by some simple metric is almost impossible since the target signature and the tracker are highly nonlinear. We established M&S tool for a precision-guided missile with imaging seeker and analyzed the roll effects to tracking and system performance. Furthermore, we defined the specification of missile subsystems through error analysis to guarantee system performance.

The guided weapon system should ensure economical operation and user safety. In particular, in the case of guided weapon systems developed in the form of a guaranteed bomb, the standards for maintaining reliability considering the long-term storage environment are presented during the development stage, and an optimized inspection cycle is required to maintain this. This study calculated the reliability through a trend test, fitness test, and distribution analysis using a mathematical model based on the maintenance status and shooting results during the inspection period for OO missiles currently in operation for a long time in the military. Through this, it was applied to the inspection period model (Martinez) set during the development stage to determine if the improved inspection period can be utilized. Finally, by synthesizing the data from these studies, a policy management plan was developed according to the extension of the inspection period. The One-Shot system was operated at the inspection period set when it was developed. The study analyzed the actual failure and maintenance data to reset the efficient inspection period.
