교통기본도와 운전자 행태에 대한 미시적 분석 (A Microscopic Analysis on the Fundamental Diagram and Driver Behavior)

  • PURPOSES : The fundamental diagram provides basic information necessary in the analysis of traffic flow and highway operation. When traffic flow is congested, the density-flow points in the fundamental diagram are widely scattered and move in a stochastic manner. This paper investigates the pattern of density-flow point transitions and identifies car-following behaviors underlying the density-flow transitions. METHODS : From a microscopic analysis of 722 fundamental diagrams of NGSIM data, a total of 20 transition patterns of fundamental diagrams are identified. Prominent features of the transition patterns are explained by the behavior of the leader and follower. RESULTS : It is found out that the average speed and the speed difference between the leader and the follower critically determine the density-flow transition pattern. The density-flow path is very sensitive to the values of vehicle speed and spacing especially at low speed and high density such that most fluctuations in the fundamental diagram in the congested regime is due to the noise of speed and spacing variations. CONCLUSIONS : The result of this study suggests that the average speed, the speed difference between the leader and the follower, and the random variations of speed and spacing are dominant factors that explain the transition patterns of a fundamental diagram.

  • This thesis sets out to study the immanent mechanism of architecture which had classified as external spaces in general. As human controls a space, it controls or manages human's behavior, too. This study is depended on the humanities to analyze a various operation of power in the architectural space. It makes a comparative study of a space-power in a dwelling space through a discourse of Michel Foucault and Jacques Lacan, in particular everyday's microscopic scope. According to analytical results, the space-power of dwelling falls under the influence of a spacial arrangement and subject's desire. It has shown a noticeable characteristics in aspects production & consumption, using behavior, and use value. As it is seen through the aspects of production & consumption, owns of the space-power in a dwelling could not be its subject. We have also understood about a physicalistic furniture at the using behavior, it has a special power unconsciously to control a human's action and lifestyle. And then in the aspects of use value, the centric theme is a television. It lies on the core of space-power in dwelling, because is profoundly related to an innate respect of a dwelling value. In conclusion, so this study has the important meaning in the side to offer some interpretative possibility about the architectural space-power through a microscopic structure.

철강재료 변형률속도 경화의 미시적 관찰 (Microscopic Investigation of the Strain Rate Hardening for Polycrystalline Metals)

  • Polycrystalline materials such as steels(BCC) and aluminum alloys(FCC) show the strain hardening and the strain rate hardening during the plastic deformation. The strain hardening is induced by deformation resistance of dislocation glide on some crystallographic systems and increase of the dislocation density on grain boundaries or inner grain. However, the phenomenon of the strain rate hardening is not demonstrated distinctly in the rage of $10^{-2}$ to $10^2/sec$ strain rate. In this paper, tensile tests for various strain rates are performed in the rage of $10^{-2}$ to $10^2/sec$ then, specimens are extracted on the same strain position to investigate the microscopic behavior of deformed materials. The extracted specimens are investigated by using the electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) results which show the effect of texture orientation, grain size and dislocation behavior on the strain rate hardening.

Type II 고압수소저장용기의 충전과 방출에 의한 권선 거동 관찰의 기계적 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Method of Observing Winding Behavior by Charging and Discharging of Type II High Pressure Hydrogen Storage Tank)

  • The test method on the Type II high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks made of the metal wire hoop winding is a complex and high risk. Also closeup on the tank being test is difficult. In this study, we studied a mechanical test method for a high-pressure hydrogen tanks. This method must be simple, risk-free and possible to observe the change in microscopic behavior of a metal wire on a liner. As the results, it was possible to observe the microscopic behavior on the metal wire by the mechanical test method. Also, a simple and risk-free test was possible compared to the conventional test method for high pressure hydrogen tanks.

미시적 교통정보자료의 취득을 위한 영상기반 차량추적기술 개발 (Development of Vision-Based Vehicle Tracking for Extracting Microscopic Traffic Information)

  • 일정구간의 도로를 주행하는 차량에 대한 단위시간대별 위치정보를 취득하게 되면, 도로의 교통상황에 대한 정보와 개별차량의 미시적인 주행행태를 파악할 수 있게 된다. 기존 사용되는 영상기술은 짧은 지점에 대한 교통량, 속도 등의 제한적인 자료만의 취득이 가능하여 도로구간의 교통상황을 대표하는데 한계가 있다. 또한 기존 영상기술은 주행차량의 미시적행태분석을 위해서 비디오로 촬영된 영상을 한 프레임씩 수동으로 작동하여 데이터를 수집함으로써 많은 인력과 시간이 소요되었다. 본 연구에서는 차량의 단위시간대별 위치자료를 자동으로 얻어낼 수 있는 규칙기반 차량추적기술을 개발하였다. 또한 기술의 검증을 위해 130m의 도로구간에서 차량의 주행위치를 0.05초 단위로 추적한 기초 자료를 추출하였으며, 이 데이터의 가공을 통해 산출된 속도와 실측된 속도와의 비교를 통해 차량추적의 정확도를 검증하였다. 향후 이러한 차량추적기술은 도로의 교통상황에 대한 주요 정보의 제공 등의 실용적 측면과 차량의 주행행태 분석 등의 학문적 분야에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • We have proposed a fuzzy model for behavior of vehicles in the road traffic simulation system with microscopic model for analyzing traffic jam in the broad areas. It can exactly simulate each vehicle's behavior. We propose a new hardware processor to simulate fuzzy decision-making mechanism for its model. This paper describes the functions, performance and structure of the hardware processor.

드론 영상을 활용한 차량궤적자료 기반 고속도로 미시적 교통분석 (Microscopic Traffic Analysis of Freeway Based on Vehicle Trajectory Data Using Drone Images)

  • 고속도로를 주행하는 차량은 다양한 시설로 인한 주행행태 변화를 경험한다. 이러한 구간은 교통량 증가 시에 반복적인 교통 정체를 유발할 수 있어 이에 따른 안전성 문제가 제기될 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 드론 영상을 활용하여 고속도로 내 반복적인 정체가 발생하는 구간에 대한 미시적인 교통분석을 수행하고 교통문제의 원인을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 드론영상의 경우 기존 검지기 기반 교통분석 수집체계에서 취득 가능한 집합 형태의 자료에서 벗어나 개별 차량의 궤적자료를 얻을 수 있기 때문에 차량주행행태에 대한 실증 분석이 가능하다. 본 연구의 분석 구간은 차량주행행태 변화가 심한 판교 IC 엇갈림구간과 서해대교 경사구간으로 선정하였다. 드론 영상을 통해 문제 구간을 통과하는 차량의 궤적자료를 추출하고, 일반화 된 정의(Generalized Definition)를 활용한 셀 단위 분석을 통해 속도, 밀도, 가속도, 그리고 차로변경에 대한 미시적인 교통분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구 결과는 고속도로 내 문제 구간의 원인 파악을 위한 기초 연구로 활용될 수 있으며, 이를 통해 교통분석 업무의 효율성과 편의성 향상을 도모하고자 한다.

TiNi/A16061 형상기억복합재료의 미시적 손상거동과 손상위치측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Microscopic Damage Behavior and the Damage Position Evaluation of TiNi/Al6061 Share Memory Alloy Composite)

  • TiNi alloy fiber was used to solve the problem of the tensile residual stress as the reinforced material. TiNi alloy fiber improves the tensile strength of composite by occurring compressive residual stress in the matrix using shape memory effect. In order to generate compressive residual stress in TiNi/Al6061 shape memory alloy(SMA) composite, 1, 3 and 5% pre-strains were applied to the composite in advance. It was also evaluated the effect of compressive residual stress corresponding to the pre-strain variation and the volume fraction of TiNi alloy. AE technique was used to clarify the microscopic damage behavior at high temperature and the effect of pre-strain in TiNi/Al6061 SMA composite. The results of the microscopic damage evaluation of TiNi/Al6061 SMA composite under various pre-strain using AE technique can be divided into three stage corresponding to the AE signals. AE counts and events were useful parameters to evaluate the fracture mechanism according to the variation of pre-strain. In addition, two dimensional AE source location technique was applied for monitoring the crack initiation and propagation in composite.

Hybrid 열가소성 복합재료의 재료거동에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Material Behavior of Hybrid Composites)

  • This study was performed to investigate the material behavior of hybrid thermoplastic composites contained glass fiber and calcium carbonate. The composite was prepared with each combination ratio of calcium carbonate, and the content of glass fiber was fixed with 10% by weight. In order to investigate the material behavior for various combination ratio, tension test, flexural test, and impact test were performed. Microscopic observation were conducted to examine the fractured surface of specimen for tension test. And the material behavior of the hybrid thermoplastic composite immersed in salt water with definite time was investigated.

섬유 보강 복합재료의 미시역학적 거동 해석 (Analysis of Micromechanical Behavior for Fiber-Reinforced Composites)

  • The investigation, which includes the material homogenization and the calculation of local stress concentration of long-fibrous composites in a microscopic level, has been performed to analyze the behavior of fiber-reinforced composites by using finite element method. In order to carry out this study, the finite element models of composites have been generated by the idealized arrays as square and hexagonal-packed type. In the FE analysis, the boundary conditions of micromechanical finite element method(MFEM) have been defined and verified by comparing with the results from multi-cells, and the effective material properties of composites composed of graphite/epoxy have been also evaluated by rules of mixture. For acquiring the relation between the global and local behaviors of composites, the magnifications of strain, stress, and interfacial stress of composites subjected to a longitudinal and transverse loading respectively have been calculated. And the magnifications have been proposed as the stress concentration in the microscopic level at composite material.
