Performance Analysis of DS/SSMA DPSK Communication System with Diversity and Channel Coding in Mobile Radio Environment (이동 무선 채널에서 다이버시티와 채널 부호를 사용한 DS/SSMA DPSK 통신 시스템의 성능 분석)

  • The bit error rates of DS/SSMA DPSK system with diversity and FEC channel coding in Rayleigh fading and log-normal shadowing channel are evaluated. Microscopic postdetection diversity and macroscopic selection diversiity are used to mitigate the effects of Rayleigh fading and log-normal shadowing, respectively. The numerical results show that the composite use of diversity and channel coding is very efficient for improving system performance compared to their respective uses.

  • The determination of fungal flora in some kinds of cereals have been carried out in other to obtain an appropriate information of the population of fungi and toxin productivity The results were summarized as follow; 1. The predominant genera were Aspergillus, Penicillium, Mucor, Rhizopus, Alternaria, Fusarium. 2. Six of Aspergillus flavus were aflatoxin-producing strains. 3. Sample barleys were found to contain the highest content of aflatoxin. 4. In electron microscopic studies of liver cells from mouse which had been injected with crude toxin, the liver cells showed the cytoplasmic change.

  • As the major alumina source, domestic alunite was applied to synthesize the clinker for rapid hardening cement. The main minerals of the clinker were found to be C3S, C11A7-CaF2 and some C4AF by means of chemical treatment, x-ray diffraction analysis and microscopic observation. Rapid hardening cement was made of the clinker by adding suitable amount of hemi-hydrite and anhydrite. The setting time of the cement was regulated with citric acid as setter.

  • Data obtained from X-ray diffractometry, thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy and microscopic observation were used for the identification and characterization of four crystalline modifications of piroxicam. form a was crystallized from sodium hydroxide-hydrochloric acid and from c was obtained by crystallization from toluene. Form b and d was crystallized from methanol under the different temperature conditions. Relative rates of dissolution and solubility of four crystal forms of piroxicam in distilled water were measured.

  • Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM)는 기존의 coherent or incoherent microscopic imaging 보다 횡축 방향 (lateral direction)으로 고해상도를 가지며, 층과 층 사이를 구분하는 광축 방향 (axial direction)의 optical sectioning에 의해 샘플의 3D 구조를 고해상도로 영상화함으로써 3D 구조 및 생체 기능 분석을 가능하게 해 준다. 본 논문에서는 CLSM에 의한 3D 영상화 원리와 촛점면 부근에서 얻어지는 광세기 분포, 얻어진 2D slice 영상의 시각화 및 응용에 대해 논의된다.

  • This paper aims to study structural changes in electric conductors which are heated during electric fire by means of microscope. The results are applicable to the pursuit of the causes of electric fire and to the establishment of criteria for the indentification of electric fire. This work is an extension of the previous study by the author, particularly with emphasis on quantitative analysis.

Determination of energetically preferable Au-S contact atomic structure in stretched single-molecule junctions

  • Based on the first-principles computations, the nature of the microscopic geometry of the molecule-electrode contacts was addressed. The single-molecule junction was prepared by connecting hexanediothiolate (HDT) to Au(111) electrodes via one, two, and three Au adatoms having coordination number of one (CN1), two (CN2), and, three (CN3), respectively. The contact atomic structure and energy of the stretched Au-HDT-Au junction was observed. The analysis revealed that the contact geometry with lowest coordination number (CN1) is energetically more stable than CN2 and CN3.

  • This research studies the factors which influence the tensile strength of tire cords. Five yam samples are made by changing the spinning conditions and viscosity to get various physical properties. Different twisting methods are introduced and the yams are twisted under different processing conditions for each twisting process. With the experimental results, various analyses are performed to find the important factors in retaining strength after the twisting process. SEM and optical microscopic photographs are taken along with some measurements to assist the analysis.

  • The optimum reaction conditions for the preparation of the precipitated calcium carbonate of an average particle size of 0.05.mu. in diameter was set in which the Box-Wilson Plan was applied. The reaction conditions are as follows; 1) concentration of milk of lime; 6.56% w/w 2) temperature; 14.24.deg. C #) velocity of carbon dioxide introducing; 1.95l/min. The crystal form was found that of calcite in X-ray diffraction analysis. The particle size was determined by the sedimentation volume measurement. The shape was identified by the elctron micro-diffraction pattern and the electron microscopic photographs.
