Fermented materials have been used for long time around the world and have been researched according to the excellent effect in the part of medical and food industry. However, when such materials are applied on skin, because of the skin barrier, the most effective ingredients are poorly absorbed. The absorption of the skin is exceedingly limited and the method of increasing skin absorption needs special procedures. The micro-needle therapy is a method used to improve the absorption of drug (solution) in the skin which is called "natural skin rejuvenation therapy". This therapy uses micro-needle which is equipped with very thin, delicate needles smaller than a 0.07 mm thick hair. During this therapy, the micro-needle makes small holes and helps absorb the solution into the skin. This is a very excellent therapy in skin absorption. It can be used in wide regions of the skin without any side effects and no recovery time. In 2007, the micro-needle is permitted to personal care. However, the solutions have not yet been developed professionally, and such skill is needed.

Objectives : There are numerous methods in treating acne scar. On the contrary there are hardly any cases on treating acne scars through Korean medicine. By observing we compared how much acne scar was treated by scar regeneration acupuncture therapy and micro-needle therapy treatment through observing pre and post case photos, KAGS, KCADI and patient satisfaction. Results : By comparing pre and post procedure through acne scar grade criteria, total of 5 patients showed improvement and could see distinct change in skin comparing case photos. After comparing pre and post procedures, total of 5 patients showed improvements in figures of Korean acne index. 4 patients replied very satisfied and 1 replies satisfied on patient satisfaction survey. Conclusions : After observing patients satisfaction, and comparing case photos, acne scar grade criteria, korean acne index, it can be considered that scar regeneration acupuncture therapy and micro-needle therapy done in our clinic to be valid treatment.

This study of 50's women using the Automatic Micro-needle Therapy System(AMTS) aging skin to evaluate the impact. In addition, AMTS is supplied to the EGF since the 50's women increased moisture and elasticity, pigmentation and wrinkles around the eyes to get a positive effect on the reduction of viewing purposes. In this study, 35 people who are middle-aged women October 7, 2013 from December 15, 2013 made a total of 70 days. AMTS study only the use of increased moisture(<.01) and elasticity(<.001), pigmentation(<.01) and wrinkles(<.001) were decreased. In addition, when applying active ingredients EGF better results. Thus to facilitate the regeneration of the active component, such as EGF, if used together to further increase the positive effect considered.

In this study, a test was conducted to examine the effects of micro-needle therapy (MTS) and cosmetics containing spirulina on improving the skin tone, skin hydration, hyper-pigmentation, and fine lines of middle-aged women in their 40s and 50s and to propose an effective skin care method. The subjects were divided into a control group of eight people who used serum and cream mask that does not contain MTS and spirulina, and an experimental group who used serum and cream containing MTS and spirulina. The test was conducted with six 30-minute sessions for one week. The change in skin was measured over three times in the week of the test, after six weeks of the test, and two weeks after the test had finished. The result showed that after six weeks of the test, in the experimental group, the skin tone (color brightness, saturation brightness, skin brightness) and moisture showed a significant increase (p<0.05), while the number of small hyper-pigmentation and large hyper-pigmentation, as well as the length of crow's feet, melanin, erythema showed a significant reduction (p<0.05). No significant differences in fine lines under the eyes and length of crow's feet were observed. Two weeks after the test was finished, the experimental group showed a significant decrease in the length of crow's feet and melanin (p<0.05), and a significant increase in skin brightness and moisture (p<0.05). Even after the test was completed, the skin brightness, fine lines, melanin, and moisture improved continuously. In conclusion, skin care using MTS and cosmetics containing spirulina was more effective on improving the skin tone, hydration, hyper-pigmentation, and fine lines, than skin care without using them.
