  • This paper describes the basic principles of 3D broadcast system and proposes new 3D broadcast technology that reduce the amount of data by applying CS(Compressed Sensing). Differences between Sampling theory and the CS technology concept was described. Recently proposed CS algorithm AMP(Approximate Message Passing) and CoSaMP(Compressive Sampling Matched Pursuit) was described. Image data that compressed and restored by these algorithm was compared. Calculation time of the algorithm having a low complexity is determined.

  • To maximize performance in a high-performance multicore processor system. it is essential to enable effective data communication between processing cores. Data communication between processor nodes can be broadly classified into collective and point-to-point communications. Collective communication comprises scattering and gathering. This paper presents a efficient message scattering and gathering based on processing node status. In the proposed algorithms, the transmission order is changed according to the data size of the pre-existing communication, to reduce the waiting time required until the collective communications begin. From the simulation, the performances of the proposed message scattering and gathering algorithms were improved by approximately 71.41% and 69.84%.

  • Vehicle to Everything (V2X) communication has been growing to enhance traffic safety by employing advanced wireless communication systems. V2X communication is one core solution for governing and advancing future traffic safety and mobility. In this paper, we design the system level simulator (SLS) of Long Term Evolution (LTE)-based V2X and propose the adaptive transmission scheme for vehicle communication. The proposed scheme allocates the resource randomly in time and frequency domain, and transmit the message according to probability of transmission. The performance analysis is based on freeway case in periodic message transmission. Simulation results show that proposed scheme can improve the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of packet reception ratio (PRR) and average PRR.

  • In this Paper a transmission algorithm based on Zigbee Networks is proposed. The superframe of IEEE 802. 15.4 is applied to the transmission method of real-time mixed data (periodic data, sporadic data, and non real-time message). The simulation results show the real-time performance of sporadic data is improved by using the proposed transmission algorithm.

  • In this paper, a wireless control network based on IEEE 802.15.4 MAC protocol is proposed. The superframe of IEEE 802.15.4 is applied to the proposed wireless control network. The transmission and bandwidth management method are proposed for efficient transmission in the superframe. By these methods, the proposed wireless control network protocol is able to transmit three types of data (periodic data, sporadic data, and non real-time message), and guarantee real-time transmission within deadline.

  • In industrial distributed control systems, sensors collect data from the physical environment periodically and transmit them to the actuators, which process the control operations based on the received data. For the effective operation of the control systems, the data transmitted by the sensors has to be delivered to the actuators reliably within the deadline, and if the message reception rate of the actuators becomes lower than a threshold, then the performance of the control systems drops greatly. This paper suggests a message routing protocol to transmit periodic messages reliably in a distributed control system based on wireless sensor networks. For reliable message transmission, the proposed protocol selects a routing path whose end-to-end message reception rate is the highest before transmitting data messages. The proposed protocol has the capability of maintaining a target message reception rate for each flow. To maintain the required target reception rate, each destination monitors the actual message reception rate periodically and transmits a feedback message to the source if it drops below the target reception rate. On receiving the feedback message, the source tries to find a new path which can satisfy the target rate. The performance of the proposed protocol has been evaluated using simulation and compared with other protocols in terms of the message reception rate, the message delay and delay jitter, and so on. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol has a higher message reception rate and comparable message delay and delay jitter to other protocols. The simulation results also show that the proposed protocol has an ability to adapt well to the dynamic network traffic change.

  • In this paper, operations system was designed for the centralization of data processing of various state information from the facilities of mobile communication network. And the system performance experimental system module was measured and analyzed from the designed experimental system module. The configuration of system design was presented with the centralized type to monite and control the facilities of mobile communication network in the central office. The communication process design of the internal system was implemented with the resource of message queue having a excellent transmission ability for processing of a great quantity of information in the inter-process communication among communication resources of UNIX system. The process with a server function from the internal communication processes was constructed with a single server or a double server according to the quantity of operations and implemented with the policy of the presented server. And then, we have measured performance elements in accordance with the change of input parameters from the designed experimental module : response time, waiting time, buffer length, the maximum quantity existing in message queue. And from these results, we have compared and analyzed the system state each server algorithm according to performance variations.

  • In practical wireless relay communication systems, non-destination nodes are assumed to be idle not receiving signals while the relay sends messages to a particular destination node, which results in reduced bandwidth efficiency. To improve the bandwidth efficiency, we relax the idle assumption of non-destination nodes and assume that non-destination nodes may receive signals from sources. We note that the message relayed to a particular node in such a system gives rise to interference to other nodes. To study such a more general relay system, we consider, in this paper, a relay system in which the relay first listens to the source, then routes the source message to the destination, and finally produces interference to the destination in sending messages for other systems. We obtain capacity upper and lower bounds and study the optimal method to deal with the interference as well as the optimal routing schemes. From analytic results obtained, we find the conditions on which the direct transmission provides higher transmission rate. Next, we find the conditions, by numerical evaluation of the theoretical results, on which it is better for the destination to cancel and decode the interference. Also we find the optimal source power allocation scheme that achieves the lower bound depending on various channel conditions. We believe that the results provided in this paper will provide useful insights to system designers in strategically choosing the optimal routing algorithms depending on the channel conditions.

  • The Controller Area Network (CAN) is being widely used for real-time control application and small-scale distributed computer controller systems. However, CAN may exhibit unfair behavior under heavy traffic conditions. When there are both high and low priority messages ready for transmission, the proposed precedence priority filtering method allows one low priority message to be exchanged between any two adjacent higher priority messages. In this way, the length of each transmission delays is upper bounded. These procedures are implemented as local controllers for the ISHURO (Inha Semyung Humanoid RObot).

  • VMP(Variable Message Protocol) is bit-based variable message processing protocol that enables the sharing situation information in real time as a tactical datalink protocol for Korean Army. System A is currently under development and will be operated as an army system when its development is completed. In system A, the VMP processing terminal is mounted and the VMP is utilized for exchanging tactical information. System A can acquire situation information from mounted situation information acquisition system and share situation information with other system A by the VMP. In this paper, we propose a method of sharing situation information with system A and speed improvement methods of sharing situation information using VMP. As speed improvement methods of sharing situation information, this paper studied 'Removing Process of Sending VMP Observation Report', 'Adopting One-time Situation Information Send Button When Sharing A System Situation Information By VMP', 'Combination of Many VMP Messages Using Repeat Function Of Application Header'. And we conducted the experiment, the result was that the transmission speed of equipment to which the research method was applied was improved by 76.8% compared to the existing equipment.
