본 연구는 35개 병원급 이상 의료기관에 종사하는 물리치료사, 방사선사, 임상병리사, 작업치료사 437명을 대상으로 전문직업성이 조직성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 의료기사 직종 종사자들의 전문직업성은 직업에 대한 가치 구성변수 중 직무수행능력과 직무의미성 보수의 적절성 직무자율성이 성별과 연령대에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 직무에 대한 영향력은 연령에 따라서만 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 조직성과 측정변수인 직장에 대한 애착에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변수는 직업에 대한 가치 변수중 보수의 적절성이었다. 셋째, 직무특성 중 현 병원 근무년수가 높을수록 직장에 대한 애착이 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 직종별로 살펴본 결과, 의료기사 직종의 조직성과(직장에 대한 애착)에 영향을 미치는 전문직업성 변수들은 의료기사 직종에 따라 차이가 있었다.
