This study is a basic study to prepare policies related to selecting media to be included in textbooks. Researchers looked at previous studies focusing on how media affect children's and adolescent's emotions according to their developmental stages. Researchers also wanted to identify how the media is related to student emotions, health, and educational effectiveness. The researchers then examined a wide range of domestic media review and rating criteria, and argued that it is necessary to institutionalize the rating system of media at national level policy level. Based on the previous discussion, the researchers made seven suggestions. First, it is necessary to specify media selection criteria in the guidelines for issuing textbooks at the national level. Second, guidelines are needed to help review the political neutrality and human rights aspects of the media for inclusion in textbooks. Third, media selection guidelines in textbooks should be detailed with reference to categories and age based criteria of domestic and foreign media rating system. Fourth, the media rating system should be applied flexibly if there is a clear educational purpose. Fifth, institutional support is needed for setting guidelines for media collection of textbooks. Sixth, media experts should participate in the whole process of textbook development. Seventh, educational programs should be implemented to support teachers to use self directed learning by using educational media in classroom instruction.

The aim of the study was to explore the effects of parental media mediation types on adolescents' perception of the usefulness of the broadcasting rating system. A total of 520 middle school students participated in the survey. Results showed a higher utility of 'autonomy-supportive restriction' strategy by the parents led to more positive perception of the usefulness of the rating system. This study argues that parents need to pursue a mediation strategy in which a rationale for prohibiting media contents use should be provided and in which the perspective of the adolescent is taken seriously.

Book recommender system, which suggests book to users according to their book taste and preference effectively improves users' book-reading experience and exposes them to variety of books. Insufficient dataset of book rating records by users degrades the quality of recommendation. In this study, we suggest a book recommendation system that makes use of user's book ratings collaboratively with user's movie ratings where more abundant datasets are available. Through comprehensive experiment, we prove that our methods improve the recommendation quality and effectively recommends more diverse kind of books. In addition, this will be the first attempt for book recommendation system to utilize movie rating data, which is from the media-platform other than books.

While the United States and Japan have non-government film rating system, Korea and France are still maintaining governmental control process. But the restrict showing rate in Korea does possibly violate the Constitution with no theatre for the movies of that rate right now. No other visual media including broadcasting have any outer classification process before their showing. So we need to improve our system by replacing it with non-governmental system. To establish independent non-government rating system, first of all, the major companies of film industry should get together to set up Korean Classification and Rating Association, to support the Film Rating Board. The most important thing is that the board operates independently. Government can support art cinemas financially with rating fee. Juvenile protection groups have to keep watch on the process of the board going fairly as well. The chief obstacle for non-governmental rating system is the fact that major companies don't want to get it. But continuing efforts to find any rational way is worthy enough.

The growth in social media, blogs and restaurant listing directories have led to increasing customer reviews about restaurants, their quality of food items and services available on the internet. These user reviews offer a massive amount of valuable information that can be used for various decision-making purposes. Currently, most food recommendation sites provide recommendation scores about restaurants rather than food items of the restaurant and the provided recommendation scores may be biased since they are calculated only from user reviews listed only in their sites. Usually, people wants a reliable recommendation about foods, not restaurant. In this paper, we present a reliable Korean food items rating method; we first extract food items by applying NER technique to restaurant reviews collected from many Korean restaurant recommendation web sites, blogs and web data. Then, we apply lexicon-based sentiment analysis on collected user reviews and predict people's opinions as sentiment polarity scores (+1 for positive; -1 for negative; 0 for neutral). Finally, by taking average of all calculated polarity scores about a food item, we obtain a rating to individual menu items of the restaurant. The proposed food item rating is more reliable since it does not depend on reviews of only one site.

본 논문은 협업 필터링(Collaborative Filtering)기반의 추천시스템에 필요한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 사용자의 선호도를 Implicit Feedback을 통해 예측하는 Implicit Rating과 사용자 선호도와 컨텐츠의 정보를 바탕으로 사용자의 프로파일을 형성하는 Tag 기반의 사용자 프로파일과 P2P망 내에서 자신과 유사한 사용자 그룹을 형성하는 알고리즘으로 구성되어 있다. 제안한 알고리즘을 적용하여 Web Text 기반의 CF기반의 개인화 추천시스템을 구현하였으며 구현된 프로그램을 실제 사용자에게 배포하여 Feasibility를 검증하였다.

This study establishes the theory of minimizing the Speculation occurring and creates the promotion of the domestic Arcade Game. The study analyzed the present Game Rating of speculation standard in this field and compared the domestic instances with international ones. The study therefore proposes that the domestic game industry should adopt the future model of electromagnetic-card that will lead to the basis of the industry that is not under the system at present. The new system will also verify the useful alternative that will enhance the domestic Arcade Game.

Due to growth of diversified media, content screening is the definite procedures. The procedures of screening varies from country by country in various reasons. Therefore, reason of conducting such study is to compare & contrast screening process by countries. In order to clarify definition of terms that measures screening, "censorship" means "legislative filtering process prior to public appearance". In contrary "Rating and/or Classification" is defined opposite of it. After defining these terms, Screening is dignified into two distinctive measures, which are "legislative intereference" and "voluntary notification". Those two measures are again sub-categorized into eight distinctive operational definition. Utilizing those distinctive measures, our study has concluded as US, Japan and some laissez-faire countries use "voluntary notification" systems but in contrast China and Brunei use "legislative filtering" system.? Korea and Australia uses unique combination of both system. In order for Korea to adopt "voluntary notification system", legislative intereference must be weaken and develop strong "voluntary notification" system.

This paper presents English vocabulary memorization system using forgetting curve to automatically adjust the vocabulary difficulty to match learner's level. Our system will decide the appropriate repetition cycle, depending on the number of memorizing words through the forgetting curve, then requires an iterative learning. No matter what learners know or do not know, words are reviewed. To save time by reviewing some words which have the highest probability that learners forget. And it provides vocabulary based on learner level, which makes learner maintain their interest and achievement. A general system provides vocabularies which difficulty matches with evaluated ones, or randomly provides some vocabularies without consideration of users' level. But we apply the "Glicko" system which is being used in the online chess game ranking system to adjust the vocabulary's difficulty. We utilize the system used in the one-by-one player system to our vocabulary-human system. As a result, learners's level and the vocabularies's difficulty is measured in the review process. Moreover it maximizes the performance of English vocabulary memorization by applying feedbacks from practice testing and distributed learning.

The film has far-reaching power than any other media. For this reason, a censorship has existed in some way but censorship is like a double-edged sword. If KMRB stood in front of a desire to preserve the morals of society and youth protection, creativity of artists must be shaken. On the contrary if free will is emphasized, social chaos will be increase. Thus most countries made various censorship systems in order to overcome this contradiction. In recent years, mainly on the issue of censorship and the rating is a tendency to transfer to the voluntary deliberation agency. However, this issue is still dealing with this problem at KMRB in Korea. Then KMRB mistakes itself as the guardian of situation ethics and morality. Recently various problems appeared in the film rating system. KMRB should be devolved on the voluntary deliberation agency in order to solve the problem. therefore this study The study will be to review the need for voluntary veliberation agency.
