러시아 경호총국은 2004년 8월 7일 러시아연방 대통령령 No. 1013에 의해 해당 조직의 편성 및 지위를 체계적으로 구성하였다. 또한 경호총국 산하 특수통신 및 정보국의 창설과 경호총국 아카데미 신설을 통해 조직의 정보력과 교육훈련의 강화하고 있다. 또한 2005년 말 경호총국 역사상 처음으로 인터넷 홈페이지를 구축한 점과 최근 들어 잦은 언론자료 배포로 어둠속에 숨겨진 비밀조직에서 국가운영의 한 축을 담당하는 기관으로서 자신을 드러내고자 노력하고 있다. 이의 일환으로 러시아 경호총국은 2004년과 2005년에 대한민국 경호처와 대표단 교환을 통해 상호 이해의 폭을 넓히고자 노력하고 있다. 따라서 본 글에서는 전 세계적 변화에 대응하고자 노력하는 러시아 경호총국의 역사와 그 구조, 법적지위 등을 관련 법령을 중심으로 살펴보고, 나아가 이러한 모델이 우리나라의 공경호의 발전을 위해 적용가능한가를 살펴보도록 하겠다.

Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) is a Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) Tier-1 center mandated to preserve raw data produced from A Large Ion Collider Experiment (ALICE) experiment using the world's largest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). Physical medium used widely for long-term data preservation is tape, thanks to its reliability and least price per capacity compared to other media such as optical disk, hard disk, and solid-state disk. However, decreasing numbers of manufacturers for both tape drives and cartridges, and patent disputes among them escalated risk of market. As alternative to tape-based data preservation strategy, we proposed disk-only erasure-coded archival storage system, Custodial Disk Storage (CDS), powered by Exascale Open Storage (EOS), an open-source storage management software developed by CERN. CDS system consists of 18 high density Just-Bunch-Of-Disks (JBOD) enclosures attached to 9 servers through 12 Gbps Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Host Bus Adapter (HBA) interfaces via multiple paths for redundancy and multiplexing. For data protection, we introduced Reed-Solomon (RS) (16, 4) Erasure Coding (EC) layout, where the number of data and parity blocks are 12 and 4 respectively, which gives the annual data loss probability equivalent to 5×10^-14. In this paper, we discuss CDS system design based on JBOD products, performance limitations, and data protection strategy accommodating EOS EC implementation. We present CDS operations for ALICE experiment and long-term power consumption measurement.

현대에 와서 동물캐릭터의 도상적 상징성은 자의로 만들어져 사회적 약속에 의해 기호작용을 하게 되었고, 공공기관이나 기업을 상징하기 위해 동물캐릭터는 심벌로 만들어져 적극 활용되고 있다. 오늘날은 이 환영의 동물캐릭터들이 중요한 아이콘으로 작용하고 있고, 상품개발자는 세속적인 동물 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 만들어내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미학사에서의 '상징성'을 이론적 배경으로 하며, 동물캐릭터의 시작이었던 애니메이션과 동물캐릭터의 접목을 통해서 살펴본 매체 발달에 의한 현대 동물캐릭터의 응용을 기술한다. 그리고 기업 및 공공기관 홍보용 동물캐릭터의 활용 사례 중 대표적이라 할 수 있는 서울시의 동물캐릭터 '해치'의 상징성을 분석한다.

A thin spray coating of inorganic black lithium polysilicate (IBLP) on black anodized AZ31B magnesium alloy was fabricated for better corrosion resistance and thermo-optical properties for thermal control of spacecraft components. The morphology of the specimens with and without IBLP-based spray coating was characterized by SEM-EDS techniques. Impedance and potentiodynamic measurements on the specimens revealed better corrosion resistance for the specimen with a thin coating of lithium polysilicate. This was primarily due to the presence of lithium polysilicate inside the micro-cracks of the black anodized specimen, restricting the diffusion paths for corrosive media. Environmental tests, namely, humidity, thermal cycling, thermo vacuum performance, were used to evaluate the space-worthiness of the coating. The thermo-optical properties of the coating were measured before and after each environmental test to ascertain its stability. The specimen with an IBLP-based spray coating showed enhanced thermo-optical properties, greater than ~0.90. Hence, the proposed coating demonstrated better handling, better corrosion resistance, and space-worthiness during the pre-launch phase owing to its improved thermo-optical properties.

This study attempts to developing an organizational model for industrial information service a n.0, pplicable to industrial su n.0, pporting organization in every industrial sectors. An emphasis is placed on the discussion of the a n.0, ppreciation of industrial climate. Raw data is easily accessible, but industry requires judged, evaluated and assessed information. The case of Korea Federation of Textile Industries is used. The proposed industrial information service model consists of the following elements. Managerial information is frequently published, assessing information from a variety of sources and its implications on products development. Technical information is less frequently published, assessing from serials subscribing for industrial su n.0, pporting organization. Online information system could be adopted. Database such as statistics, personnel, industrial premises, exhibition, bibliographic are desirable.

The purpose of this study were (1)to investigate the housewives’value orientation toward environmental effect, (2)to examine the effect of environments and value-orientation on housewives’green-consumption behavior and (3)to analyze the hypothesized causal direct or indirect explanation effect among the housewives’green-consumption behavior. The 310 subjects of this study were selected from housewives lived in Seoul. The data obtained were analyzed by Mean, Pearson’s correlation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The major results were as follows: 1) The mean score of housewives’value-orientation was 4.45 out of 5. The value-orientation of housewives was affected by the following variables in order to: environmental pollution and participation I community organization. 2) The mean score of housewives’green-consumption behavior was 3.62 out of 5. The housewives’green-consumption behavior was affected by the following variables in order : value orientation, environmental knowledge, participation in community organization, mass media and recycling system. 3) The most influential variables on the housewives’ green-consumption behavior were in the rank of the value orientation(R²=.39). mass meia(R²=.11). and environmental knowledge(R²=.07).

This paper deals with the Cell-based distributed processing for generating free viewpoint images by merging multiple differently focused images. We previously proposed the method of generating free viewpoint images without any depth estimation. However, it is not so easy to realize real-time image reconstruction based on our previous method. In this paper, we discuss the method to reduce the processing time by dimension reduction for image filtering and Cell-based distributed processing. Especially, the method of high-speed image reconstruction by the Cell processor on SONY PLAYSTATION3(PS3) is described in detail. We show some experimental results by using real images and we discuss the possibility of real-time free viewpoint image reconstruction.

The multistakeholder model of Internet governance is based on the belief that the stakeholder groups should be able to agree on the rules and principles in governing the Internet space. The global expansion of the sweeping influence of the Internet has heightened the awareness of international governments on the importance of Internet governance, but since the Internet has developed mostly through voluntary participation by various groups, the organization with the greatest ability to manage the Internet space currently is ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), the U.S. based organization that manages the assignment of Internet domain names and IP addresses. Although ICANN has attempted to globalize its operation, governments in some nations are voicing dissatisfaction over the fact that the voice of the governments are not adequately represented within ICANN. This paper examines how the concept of multistakeholderissm has been used in WSIS(World Summit on Information Society), ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and the ITU(International Telecommunication Union) as an important principle in emphasizing their roles in Internet governance.

Nanocellulose was surface-functionalized toward the applications in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) as a green alternative. The focus of this paper is on the effect of this material based nanofluid (NF) on foam lamella stabilization through studying its bubble breakup dynamics and flow behaviors in constricted mircofluidic devices. The NF stabilized foam produced an improved flow resistance across the capillary largely due to the capillary trapped bubbles at the contraction. The "snap-off" caused the NF stabilized foam to produce finer textured bubbles, which can migrate readily forward to the deep porous media, as revealed by the pressure profiles.

이 논문은 호주의 국가교육과정 ACARA의 예술교육과정인 미디어 아트 과목의 구성 및 그 내용을 살펴보고, 한국의 교육과정에 주는 시사점을 논의한다. 미디어 아트과목에서 다루는 미디어는 TV, 영화, 비디오, 신문, 라디오, 비디오 게임, 인터넷 및 모바일 미디어 등을 포괄하는 복합 양식적 미디어 전반과 그 콘텐츠이다. ACARA에 나타난 미디어 아트 교육과정의 목표는 일반적으로 다양한 목적과 청중을 대상으로 한 의사소통기술의 창조적 사용, 지식, 이해, 기술을 발전시키는 데에 있다. 미디어 아트 과목을 통해 학생 개인과 공동체는 자신들을 둘러싼 풍부한 문화와 실제적 의사소통에 참여하고, 이를 실험하면서 언어, 기술, 제도, 청중, 재현의 5개 핵심개념에 대한 지식과 이해를 발전시키게 된다. 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. ACARA의 미디어 아트 교육과정은 독립적 예술교육과정으로 개발되어 호주 교육과정 내에서 특별히 중요성을 지니고 있음을 알 수 있다. ACARA의 미디어 아트 교육과정은 독립적인 교과로 구성되어 있으나, 그 실행에 있어서 다른 과목들과 긴밀하게 연계되어 지도되도록 교육과정상에서 제안되고 있다. 교육과정 구성상의 체계성과 정교함은 교사 차원의 교수 학습 설계 및 평가 측면에 있어서 매우 효과적으로 구성되어 있다. ACARA의 미디어 아트 교육과정은 미디어 리터러시 교육을 국가 및 주 차원에서 선도적으로 실행해 온 호주의 사례라는 점에서 한국 미디어 리터러시 교육과정 구성에 있어서 향후 많은 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.
