In FPD WET equipment, heaters are used a lot. There are many electric accidents caused by short circuit and overheating due to the use of heater, so it is necessary to have a safe electric system and interlock. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an electrical schematic and interlock for FPD WET equipment. In this paper, a hardware interlock such as a level sensor, an overheat protector, and an SSR heater sink is inserted, and the electric system is composed of ELB - MC - SSR - EOCR - heater. When the interlock occurs, the magnetic contactor (MC) is turned off and the power of the heater is cut off.EOCR, an electric overcurrent protection device, has an interlock to shut down the MC when there is an abnormality in the heater while checking the overcurrent, undercurrent and disconnection. These circuit configurations and interlocks are likely to be useful not only for WET equipment but also for any equipment in which the heater is placed.
This study aims to analyze the changes in the mechanical properties of interlock fabrics knitted with three types of fibers (i.e., cotton, wool, and polyester) by bonding fusible interlinings with varying deniers (i.e., 10D, 20D, and 30D) for a 3D virtual try-on system. We experimented with four properties and thicknesses of twelve specimens of interlining bonded knitted fabrics including face fabrics and interlinings. The results showed that the tensile property changed values (i.e., LT increased, and WT and RT decreased) according to the denier of interlinings; however, the change was slight. On the other hand, the bending property increased significantly as the denier of the interlining increased on both the wale and the course. Among shearing properties, the value of G increased as the denier of the interlining increased on both the wale and the weft; however, 2HG decreased. Additionally, changes in the compression property varied according to the fibers and the denier of the interlinings. The thickness of the knitted fabrics increased or decreased slightly by bonding the interlining. based on these results, we conclude that the 3D virtual system users need to reflect these numerical changes of interlock fabrics by bonding interlinings when they perform fitting tasks on the screen to accurately express the to accurately express the manufacturing conditions of the real garment.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of knit structure and knit density (machine tightness factor) on the dimensional properties and K1-4 values of weft-knitted fabrics followed over eleven cycles of mechanical relaxation to provide the basic data for constructing weft-knitted fabrics for outwear with excellent dimensional stability The eighteenth weft-knitted fabrics were produced with different knit structure (1$\times$1 rib, half-cardigan rib, half-milano rib, interlock, single pique, crossmiss interlock) and machine tightness factor (loose, medium, tight) for this study. Dimensional properties such as width, lengh, area shrinkage and dimensional parameter (K) of eighteenth knitted fabrics including thickness and bulk property were measured. The results were as follows; 1. The dimensional behavior of the Ix1 rib and interlock in relaxation cycles was anisotropic, i.e., length shrinkage was usually associated with a width expansion, whereas the other weft-kntted fabrics which have tuck or miss loops in the knit structure behaved isotropically, i.e., length and width shrinkages were usually found. It was proposed that the difference in dimensional behavior between these structures was due to the dissimilar nonrelaxed geometrical shapes of the individual structural units forming these weft-knitted structures. The mechanical relaxation shrinkage of weft-knitted cotton fabrics was dependent on the tightness of construction. For a range of fabrics knitted on this study, an increase in fabric tightness caused a decrease in the length shrinkage of the fabric accompanied by an increase in its width shrinkage.
Bamboo concrete bond behaviour is investigated through pullout test in this work. The bamboo strip to be used as reinforcement inside concrete is first treated with chemical adhesive to make the bamboo surface impermeable. Various surface coatings are explored to understand their water repellant properties. The chemical action at the bamboo concrete interface is studied through different chemical coatings, sand blasting, and steel wire wrapping treatment. Whereas mechanical action at the bamboo concrete interface is studied by developing mechanical interlock. The result of pullout tests revealed a unique combination of surface treatment and grooved bamboo profile. This combination of surface treatment and a grooved bamboo profile together enhances the strength of bond. Performance of a newly developed grooved bamboo strip is verified against equivalent plain rectangular bamboo strip. The test results show that the proposed grooved bamboo reinforcement, when treated, shows highest bond strength compared to treated plain, untreated plain and untreated grooved bamboo reinforcement. Also, it is observed that bond strength is majorly influenced by the type of surface treatment, size and spacing of groove. The changes in bamboo-concrete bond behavior are observed during the experimentation.

In this study, the difference in the mechanical properties of silver and cotton weft knitted fabrics was studied. Six silver fabrics for the summer ladies' knit outwear were knitted varying knit structure and fabric density. Two commercial cotton knitted fabrics were selected to compare the properties. subjective sensation of hand of the fabrics was also studied. Mechanical properties of the fabric samples were measured by KES-FB system. From these, primary hand values(HV) were evaluated by the conversion equation (KW-403-KTU) and the total hand value(THV) was carried out according to the KW-304 Summer. The result of the research show that silver weft knitted fabrics had lower LT, RT, G, 2HG and higher EM, W, LC, WC, RC than cotton weft knitted fabrics. The use of silver yam contributed to increase in surface roughness of knitted fabrics. As the silver knitted fabrics became thicker compressional energy increased. The use of silver yarns contributed to much better fabric handle compared with the use of cotton yam only. It appeared that coefficient of friction of tuck stitch was larger than that of plain and interlock stitch. KOSHI and FUKURAMI values of the tuck samples were significantly higher than those values of the plain and interlock samples, while SHARI values were low in general. The total hand value of tuck stitch was higher than those of interlock and plain stitch.

Steel encased composite columns have been used for buildings and piers of bridges. Since column section for pier is relatively larger than that of building columns, economical steel ratio need to be investigated for the required performance. Composite action between concrete and embedded steel sections can be obtained by bonding and friction. However, the behavior. of the column depends on the load introduction mechanism. Compression can be applied to concrete section, steel section and composite section. In this paper, experiments on shear strength of the steel encased composite column were performed to study the effect of confinement by transverse reinforcements, mechanical interlock by holes, and shear connectors. Shear strength obtained from the tests showed considerably higher than the design value. Confinement, mechanical interlock and stud connectors increased the shear strength and these values can be used effectively to obtain composite action of SRC columns.
The aims of this research were to study on the relationship between the mechanical properties and the deformation behavior of weft-knitted fabrics as a function of knit structure and knit density. Eighteen weft-knitted fabrics were produced with six different knit structures ($1{\times}1$ rib, half-cardigan rib, half-milano rib, interlock, single-pique, and crossmiss interlock) and three different knit densities (loose, medium, tight). The mechanical properties of these samples were measured using the KES-F system. The 2HBIW increased as knit density was raised. The increase was greater for the double knit fabrics in all samples. Half-milano rib and crossmiss interlock samples showed the lowest 2HG/G values. The double knits were smaller than those of single knits indicate a higher degree of surface smoothness. The ratio of compression energy to weight per unit area of the double knits had lower values than the single knits.

Recently, the size of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) carriers has been increasing, in turn increasing the load generated during operation. To handle this load, the thickness of LNG Cargo Containment Systems (CCSs) should be increased. Despite increasing the thickness of LNG CCSs, a secondary barrier is still used in conventional thickness. Therefore, the mechanical performance of the existing secondary barrier should be verified. In this study, tensile test of the secondary barrier was performed to evaluate mechanical properties under several low- and cryogenic-temperature conditions considering LNG environment, and in each fiber direction considering that the secondary barrier is composed of anisotropic composite materials depending on the glass fibers. Additionally, the coefficient of thermal expansion was measured by considering the degradation of the mechanical properties of the secondary barrier caused by the generated thermal stress during periodical unloading. As a result, the mechanical performance of secondary barrier in the Machine Direction (MD) was generally found to be superior than that in the Transverse Direction (TD) owing to the warp interlock structure of the glass fibers.
This paper presents behavior of concrete pavement at transverse joint subject to static test load. The test was conducted on 1/10 scale model in the laboratory. Load transfer across the crack is developed either by the interlocking action of the aggregate particles at the faces of the joint or by a combination of aggregate interlock and mechanical devices such as dowel bars. In this study, significant three variables considered to the performance of joints were selected. : (a)diameter of dowel bars(2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm), (b)presence or absence of dowel bars, (c)aggregate types(crushed stone, round stone). Experimental results were analyzed to find relationships among displacement of discontinuous plane at jointed slab, load transfer efficiency and joint opening, etc. Displacement of discontinuous plane at joint was decreased according to the increase of dowel bar diameter. In addition, it is found that model slabs made using crushed stone had better load transfer characteristics by aggregate interlock than model slabs made using similarly graded round stone. Displacement of discontinuous plane was increased according to the increase of loading. In addition, it was decreased as dowel diameter(2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm) was increased. In the case of slab without dowel bars, displacement of discontinuous plane was greatly increased and load transfer effciency of slab applied crushed stone was shown 30 percent greater than round stone. In addition, load transfer efficiency of slabs, which were made using crushed and round stone without dowel bars, was decreased to 20 percent and 30 percent, respectively as it was compared with slabs made us-ing dowel bars.

The SCR in Static Transfer Switch (STS) is used for reliability improvement of important load's power supply in industry field. However an average of 2% fault in thyristor(SCR) occurs, so that the attached mechanical switch is paralleled with SCR's both end points and SCR operates only during the $12{\sim}208$[mS] before operation of the mechanical switch. Also, an ISC (Ideal State Conditioning Interlock Device) - STS system that two power supply paths may not be thrown at the same time is developed to remove the overlap section perfectly when a short or earth fault is generated in one system. This method has reduced the fault rate remarkably through the reduction of SCR's fatigue degree by using SCR in conversion operation corresponding to 0.89 times a year. Also, in case of fault generations, it does not affect to supply power to the load, therefore it contributes to the promotion of reliability in the power supply.
