타원체를 이용한 3축 센서의 실시간 보정 알고리듬 개발 (Development of the Calibration Algorithm of 3 Axis Vector Sensor Using Ellipsoid)

  • Multi-axis magnetic and accelerometer sensor are widely used in consumer product such as smart phones. The vector output of multi-axis sensors have errors on each axis such as offset error, scale error, non-orthogonality. These errors cause many problems on the performance of the applications. In this paper, we designed the effective inline compensation algorithm for calibrating of 3 axis sensors using ellipsoid for mass production of multi-axis sensors. The outputs with those kinds of errors can be modeled by ellipsoid, and the proposed algorithm makes sequential mappings of the virtual ellipsoid to perfect sphere which is calibrated function of the sensor on three-dimensional space. The proposed calibrating process composed of four main stages and is very straightforward and effective. In addition, another imperfection of the sensor such as the drift from temperature can be easily inserted in each mapping stage. Numerical simulation and experimental results shows great performance of the proposed compensation algorithm.

시설화훼용 견인형 방제기의 작업자세 및 성능 분석 (Ergonomic and Performance Analyses of a Pull-type Prayer for Floriculture in Greenhouse)

  • This study was conducted to develop a pull-type sprayer which performs the safe spraying with improved ergonomic postures while pesticide spraying of roses in floricultural facilities. The performance of the ergonomically designed sprayer was analyzed with a comparison of a conventional spray method. The pull-type sprayer, consisting of power pump, hose and nozzle parts was designed to manually pull and spray to upward and horizontal directions. From the analysis of postures with the RULA method, the labor load to arm and wrist using the pull-type sprayer was less than that with conventional power sprayer, so that the intensity of labor reduces. Working capacity with pull-type sprayer was two-fold greater than the conventional power sprayer. After performing pesticide spraying with the pull-type sprayer, the operating cost was reduced to \585,000/yr, which is 79% less than that of cost (\2,197,500/yr) for using conventional power sprayer.

  • The function and purpose of the marine rubber fender, to prevent the damage of the ship and the mooring while the ship is being attached to the pier. However, maintenance of the fender after installation is not enough, because it is generally handled as an attachment facility. Estimation the life of a marine rubber fender is important in the maintenance of a port. When manufacturers design and produce marine rubber fenders, they do so according to various conditions such as the reaction force acting on the hull and docking vessel and deformation after absorbing the kinetic energy of the ship. In this study, a method for predicting and evaluating service life from the product design and development stage was established, in order to evaluate the durability of the marine rubber fenders. The SSp-300H and HSP-300H models were used to predict the service life. The method developed in this study, is expected to predict the service life of the marine rubber fender accurately and in a comparatively shorter time, thereby contributing to the evaluation standard and quality stability of the product.

Experimental tensile test and micro-mechanic investigation on carbon nanotube reinforced carbon fiber composite beams

  • Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have received increased interest in reinforcing research for polymer matrix composites due to their exceptional mechanical characteristics. Its high surface area/volume ratio and aspect ratio enable polymer-based composites to make the most of its features. This study focuses on the experimental tensile testing and fabrication of carbon nanotube reinforced composite (CNTRC) beams, exploring various micromechanical models. By examining the performance of these models alongside experimental results, the research aims to better understand and optimize the mechanical properties of CNTRC materials. Tensile properties of neat epoxy and 0.3%; 0.4% and 0.5% by CNT reinforced laminated single layer (0°/90°) carbon fiber composite beams were investigated. The composite plates were produced in accordance with ASTM D7264 standard. The tensile test was performed in order to see the mechanical properties of the composite beams. The results showed that the optimum amount of CNT was 0.3% based on the tensile capacity. The capacity was significantly reduced when 0.4% CNT was utilized. Moreover, the experimental results are compared with Finite Element Models using ABAQUS. Hashin Failure Criteria was utilized to predict the tensile capacity. Good conformance was observed between experimental and numerical models. More importantly is that Young' Moduli of the specimens is compared with the prediction Halpin-Tsai and Mixture-Rule. Although Halpin-Tsai can accurately predict the Young's Moduli of the specimens, the accuracy of Mixture-Rule was significantly low.

Micro-Implant Anchorage(MIA)를 이용한 Sliding mechancis (A new protocol of the sliding mechanics with Micro-Implant Anchorage(M.I.A.))

  • 고정원의 조절은 교정치료에 있어서 매우 중요한 요소로 이를 보강하기 위한 많은 노력이 있어 왔다. 골융합성 임프란트의 경우 확실한 고정원으로서 가능성이 인정되고 있고, 또 임상에서 시도되고 있다. 그러나 임프란트를 매식하기 위해서는 무치악이 존재해야 하거나 하악구치 후방부위에 식립해야 하는 등 장소의 제약이 있고, 값이 비싸며, 골융합을 위하여 기다리는 시간이 필요하다는 등의 단점으로 인하여 보편화되고 있지는 않다. 최근 몇몇 임상가에 의하여 수술용 titanium microscrew 나 miniscrew를 교정치료시의 고정원으로 사용하려는 시도가 있었는데, 이것은 골융합성 임프란트보다 수술이 간단하며, 가격이 저렴하고, 치조골 어느 부위든지 식립할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 저자는 M.I.A.(Micro-Implant Anchorage)를 고정원으로 사용한 sliding mechanics를 통하여 골격성 II급 부정교합자를 치료하였다. 상악의 M.I.A.는 상악전치의 후방견인의 고정원으로 사용되었고 하악의 M.I.A.는 하악 제1대구치의 직립과 제2대구치의 압하이동의 고정원으로 사용되었다. 하악 구치가 직립됨에 따라 하악골의 전상방 회전이 일어나 SNB각의 증가로 이어지고 ANB각의 감소를 가져 왔다. M.I.A.는 치료 전기간동안 안정되게 유지되어 교정치료의 고정원으로서의 가능성을 확인시켜 주었다. M.I.A.를 고정원으로 사용한 sliding mechanics를 통하여 골격성 II급 부정교합자를 치료하는 새로운 접근법은 환자의 협조도에 의존하지 않고 치료할 수 있고, 비교적 빠른 시기에 많은 안모의 변화를 가져와 환자의 협조도를 끌어 낼 수 있다. 그리고 상악 6전치를 동시에 후방견인하므로 치료기간을 줄일 수 있으며 호선의 교환이 적어 chair time이 짧다. 이런 결과로 미루어 볼 때 MIA는 치아이동의 고정원으로 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 생각되고, MIA를 고정원으로 이용한 sliding mechanics를 통한 교정치료는 골격성 II급 부정교합의 치료에 있어서 쉽고 효율적인 치료법으로 생각된다.

특성화고등학교 직업기초능력 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구분석 - 기업근로자를 중심으로 (Training needs analysis for the development of basic job skill curriculum in specialized high school)

  • 본 연구는 특성화고등학교의 직업기초능력 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구분석으로 기업체 근로자들을 중심으로 직업기초능력에 대한 현재수준과 기대수준을 파악하고, 기업분야 중 기계계열, 전기 전자 반도체계열, 건축 토목 건설계열 영역의 직업기초능력 교육우선순위를 결정, 교육과정 편성을 위한 연구이다. 구체적으로 직업기초능력 하위영역에 대한 기업근로자들의 현재수준과 기대수준 차이를 Borich 요구도, The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 교육요구분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 기업규모와 분야를 중심으로 특성화고등학교의 기계계열학과, 전기 전자 반도체계열학과, 건축 토목 건설계열학과에 적용 가능한 교육요구 우선순위를 분석하고 직업기초능력 교육과정 편성을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. 기계계열학과의 경우 언어구사력, 문제처리능력, 자기개발능력, 경력개발능력, 시간관리능력, 협상능력, 기술이해능력이 최우선적으로 반영되어야 하며, 전기 전자 반도체계열학과는 시간관리능력, 건축 토목 건설계열학과는 문제처리능력, 자기개발능력, 경력개발능력, 시간관리능력, 갈등관리능력의 교육과정이 기업규모와 상관없이 최우선적으로 요구되는 내용으로 도출되었다.

  • This study is concerned with reliability technology. In order to achieve the quality level of items for consumer's satisfaction, tests for the item's reliability are essential. This article deals with a method and real field application to plan reliability testing. Especially the environmental conditions and methods such as screening test for electronic components will be shown. As well, we will explore methods and field applications with respect to mechanic destructive tests and non destructive tests.

  • Non-destructive test on the size and depth of cracks has been required for the safety evaluation of structures. Ultrasonic method based on laser techniques is one of the most popular non-destructive methods which overwhelm PZT based tests. In the present paper, ultrasonic was generated by high powered Q switching Nd:YAG pulse laser. Experiments were carried out using Fabry-Perot interferometer which was intensively discussed in the present study.

  • In this paper we define a Banach algebra on very general function space induced by a generalized Brownian motion process rather than on Wiener space, but the Banach algebra can be considered as a generalization of Fresnel class defined on Wiener space. We then show that several interesting functions in quantum mechanic are elements of the class.
