진주만에서 저서 다모류의 시 · 공간 분포 (Seasonal and Spatial Distribution of Soft-bottom Polychaetesin Jinju Bay of the Southern Coast of Korea)

  • 피조개 양식장으로 이용되고 있는 남해 연안의 진주만에서 저서 다모류 분포를 밝히기 위하여 van Veen grab 채니기를 이용하여 1999년 8월부터 2000년 5월 사이에 계절별로 4회에 걸쳐 저서동물을 채집하였다. 조사기간 중 총 132종의 저서 다모류가 채집되어, 출현한 전체 저서동물 개체수 중 약 $80\%$를 차지하였다. 다모류의 평균 출현 개체수는 계절별로 뚜렷한 차이를 나타내지 않았으나 생체량은 여름 (8월)에 가장 높았던 반면, 종 다양도와 풍도는 여름철에 가장 낮았다. 이것은 계절에 따른 종조성 변동에 의한 다모류 군집 차이를 반영하는 것으로, 이와 같은 계절변동은 봄철에 소형의 몇몇 r-선택성 기회종과 여름철에 서관을 만드는 Mal-danidae과 종의 출현에 기인하였다. 한편, Capitella Capitata, No-tomastus latericeus 및 Lumbrineris sp.와 같이 유기물이 풍부한 해역에서 흔히 출현하는 종들이 만 전체적으로 연중 높은 밀도를 나타내었다. 남부의 피조개 양식장 수역은 상대적으로 낮은 개체수와 생체량을 나타내었는데, 종 다양도와 풍도 역시 상대적으로 낮은 경향을 보였다. 주성분 분석의 결과는 만내 다른 수역에서 우점하는 Maldanidae과는 물론 소형 기회종의 출현 빈도가 피조개 양식장 수역에서 대단히 낮아 피조개 양식장 수역 저서 다모류 군집이 인근 나머지 정점군들의 군집과 뚜렷이 구분된다는 것을 잘 보여주었다. 다모류 군집의 공간변동은 피조개 양식장 수역 퇴적물의 더욱 세립한 입도 조성과 높은 황화물 농도 및 북부 일부 정점의 낮은 염분 등에 의해서 부분적으로 설명될 수 있었지만, 다른 환경 변수에서 이와 같은 차이는 뚜렷하지 않았다. 진주만에서 다모류 군집의 공간분포는 오히려 봄철에 피조개 채취를 위한 퇴적물의 물리적 교란에 의해 크게 영향을 받는 듯 하였다. 않고 사육조 수면으로 공급되는 우회량이 많을 경우 용존산소는 증가하였으나 수처리 장치로 공급되는 유량이 작아 부유 고형물, 유기물 등의 수질 인자가 악화되는 현상을 보였다.대된다.. 창란젓갈 저장시 품질측정변수에 대한 상관관계를 조사한 결과병포장에서는 용기내 압력, pH, L값, VBN, 관능검사 등이 상관관계가 높아 젓갈 포장에서 품질지표항목으로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 0.1 mM과 0.4 mM 및 0.8 mM 배양구는 배양 5시간 후에 최대값이 되어 각각 $204\%$, $198\%$$191\%$로 증가하였다. 이처럼 BNF나 PB, MC는 명주조개에서도 미크로좀의 CYP 함량과 EROD 활성을 증가시키는 유도효과를 나타내었으며, 특히 MC에 의한 유도효과가 가장 강했고 BNF, PB의 순이었고, 대체로 약물의 농도가 높을수록 유도 효과도 큰 경향을 보였다.이 한국어와는 다른 것이라거나, 한국어 음성학을 공부하지 않고 한국어를 연구할 수 있다는 뜻은 아닙니다. 의학에도 분야마다 전문의가 있듯이, 언어학도 이제 복잡하고 광범한 학문이 되었으므로 분야별로 전문가가 나오게 된 것뿐입니다. 따라서 "나는 통사론에 관심이 있으므로 소리말에는 관심이 없다"고 말하는 언어학자가 있다면, 이 것은 크게 잘못된 것입니다. 마찬가지로 "나는 소리에만 관심이 있으므로 통사론에는 관심이 없다"고 말하는 음성학자가 있다면, 이 또한 안되는 일입니다. 문의 구성과 어휘 요소와 아무 관련이 없는 말소리의 차이가 무슨 소용이 있으며, 통사 구조를 표현하고 저달하는 말소리를 연구하지 않고 어떻게 통사론을 연구할 수 있겠습니까? 다시 간추리면, 언어는 본질적으로 소리말이고, 언어의 특성과 사용 및 습득도 모두 소리말 형태로 나타납니다. 따라서, 영국의 대학은 음성학이 대단히 중요함을 인식하고, 언어학을 올바르게

전립선암 치료를 위한 세기조절 양성자 로버스트 치료계획 (Robust Planning of Intensity-modulated Proton Therapy for Prostate Cancer)

  • 목 적: 양성자선의 유효비정 변화와 환자 자세의 재현성을 고려한 로버스트(robust-IMPT) 세기조절양성치료와 플레인 세기조절양성자치료(plain-IMPT) 계획과 광자선 세기조절방사선치료(photon-IMRT, step & shoot) 계획의 선량분포 특성을 비교, 분석하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 다섯 명의 전립선암 환자를 대상으로 표적에 70 Gy를 조사하도록 photon-IMRT (7문, step & shoot)와 plain-IMPT (2문, 4문, 7문) 및 robust-IMPT (유효 비정 오차 ${\pm}5%$ & 환자 자세 오차 0.5 cm 적용) 치료계획을 수립했다. 세 가지 치료계획으로 얻은 선량 분포 비교를 위해 PTV에 대한 선량조형지수(Conformity Index, CI), 선량균등지수(Homogeneity Index, HI) 및 최대선량, 최소선량, 평균선량과 OAR에 대한 선량-체적을 평가했다. 결 과: 모든 환자에 대해 photon-IMRT, plain-IMPT, robust-IMPT에서 PTV의 평균 최대선량은 각각 76.75 Gy (109.6%), 71.92 Gy (102.7%), 72.09 Gy (103%)였으며, 평균 최소선량은 68.21 Gy (97.4%), 68.89 Gy (98.42%), 68.13 Gy (98.13%)였으며, 전체 평균선량은 각각 71.02 Gy (101.4%), 71.32 Gy (100.4%), 70.75 Gy (101%)였다. PTV에 대한 CI 및 HI 값은 plain-IMPT가 photon-IMRT와 robust-IMPT에 비하여 1.02, 1.00으로 가장 낮았다. 또한, 정상장기에 있어 plain-IMPT가 photon-IMRT에 비하여 대부분 낮은 선량 분포를 보였으며, robust-IMPT 적용 시 정상 장기에 대한 선량 분포가 다소 변동의 폭은 있었지만 photon-IMRT에 비하여 대체로 낮은 선량 분포를 보였다. 결 론: 전립선암의 IMPT 치료 시 정확한 유효비정의 오차와 환자 자세 재현성오차를 고려한 robust-IMPT를 적용한다면 plain-IMPT의 선량학적 불확도를 줄이고 photon-IMRT에 비해 효과적인 치료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

좌측 유방암 방사선 치료에서 깊은 들숨 호흡법을 이용한 심장 선량 감소 평가 (Evaluation of Dose Reduction of Cardiac Exposure Using Deep-inspiration Breath Hold Technique in Left-sided Breast Radiotherapy)

  • 방사선 치료를 진행한 오른편 유방암 환자에 비해 왼편 유방암 환자의 방사선 치료 시 왼편 유방의 인접 주요 장기인 심장에 전달되는 선량에 의한 심장 질환의 발병 및 기타 질환의 발병으로 인한 높은 치사율과 관련된 예후가 보고되고 있다. 방사선 치료에서 computed tomography (CT) 영상을 획득 하는 방법 중 deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) 기법은 들숨 상태에서 일정 시간 동안 환자의 호흡을 정지시키고 영상을 획득 하는 방법으로 심장과 흉곽 사이의 거리가 최대가 되게 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 DIBH 영상 획득 기법을 활용하여 왼편 유방암 환자의 방사선 치료 시 DIBH 기법을 적용한 CT 영상을 토대로 심장과 왼편 유방까지의 거리 계산 및 심장에 전달되는 피해 선량을 정량화 함으로써 왼편 유방암 환자의 방사선 치료 시 DIBH 기법의 유용성을 평가하고자 하였다. Free breathing (FB)와 DIBH 기법을 적용한 여성 유방암 환자의 CT 영상을 각 10세트를 획득하고, 50 Gy를 28번으로 분할하여 처방하였으며, 쐐기 필터(wedge filter)를 이용한 대향 2문 접선 조사를 적용했다. 심장과 왼편 유방까지의 거리는 각 장기의 중심 좌표를 획득하고, 각 중심좌표 간의 거리를 계산하였다. DIBH 기법의 경우, 일반적인 FB 기법을 적용 했을 때보다 심장과 왼편 유방 사이의 거리가 평균 1.43 mm 증가하였으며, 통계적 유효성을 확인할 수 있었다. 심장에 전달된 피해 선량의 경우, 최대 선량 기준으로 크게는 3,555 cGy 가량 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 각 영상마다의 거리 및 심장의 피해 선량에 대한 정도의 차이는 있었지만, DIBH 기법을 적용하였을 경우, 심장과 왼편 유방까지의 거리의 증가 및 피해 선량 감소 등의 경향성을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 DIBH 기법은 기존 방사선 치료 과정 중 추가적인 시간 소모가 적고, 쉽게 적용할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며, 임상에서의 적용으로 여성 유방암 환자의 불필요한 심장 피해 선량 전달을 감소 시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

한국의 춘계한발의 종관기후학적 특성 (Synoptic Climatological Characteristics of Spring Droughts in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 한국에 있어서 춘계한발시 기후요소의 분포특성과 지상기압장 및 500hPa등압면의 종관기후학적 특성을 평년과 비교분석한 연구이다. 춘계한발시 한국에 있어서의 일최저기온편차의 지역적 분포는 양의 편차역과 음의 편차역이 혼재하고 있으나 3월은 음의 편차역이 넓게 분포하여 한반도 주변에 서고동저형의 기압배치의 출현빈도가 높음을 반영하고 있다. 일최고기온은 양의 편차를 나타내어 강수일과 운량 및 습도가 감소하여 일사량이 많고 따라서 증발량이 증대됨을 나타낸다. 춘계 한발시 지상기압장의 기압편차가 3월은 한반도를 경계로 동쪽은 음의 편차 서쪽은 양의 전차를 나타내어 서고동저형의 기압배치의 출현빈도가 높고 5월은 한반도와 그 주변은 대상의 정편차역에 속하여 이동성 고기압의 출현빈도가 높음을 반영하고 있다. 500hPa등압면의 고도편차에서 3월은 지상기압장과 유사하게 한반도를 경계로 동쪽은 음의 편차 서쪽은 양의 편차역이 분포하며 4월은 3월과 유사하지만 음의 편차역이 서쪽으로 확장되어 있다. 5월은 한반도와 그 주변이 대상의 양의 편차역에 속하며 캄차카반도 주변 오호츠크 해상에 발달한 저지고기압(blocking high)이 지상 고기압의 동진을 지연시켜 이동성 고기압이 한반도주변에 장기간 정체됨을 나타낸다. 따라서 한발시에는 동서지수는 저지수를 나타내어 동서류가 약한 반면 한반도는 북태평양서안에 형성된 trough의 서쪽에 위치하여 건조한 북서기류의 유입이 빈번함을 나타내고 3원의 한발시에는 3 4월과는 다르게 동서지수가 고지수를 나타내어 건조한 동서류가 강할 때 한발이 출현하여 조춘의 한발시와 만춘의 한발시의 메카니즘이 상이함을 밝혔다.

광주천의 식물플랑크톤과 부착조류의 동태 (Dynamics of Phytoplankton and Periphyton in Gwangju Stream)

  • 광주천의 5개 지점에서 2003년 4월부터 2004년 2월 까지 부유 및 부착 조류를 조사한 결과 총 8강 19목 6아목 35과 4아과 79속 274종이 동정되었다. 군집 구조는 규조류가 절대우점하는 가운데, 녹조류와 남조류 등이 포함된 다양한 종조성을 나타냈다. 조사기간 동안 부유조류는 방림교정점과 양동시장정점에서 총 137종이 채집되어 가장 다양한 부유조류 분포를 나타냈고, 유촌교정점에서 118종이 출현하였으며 동산타워정점에서는 50종이, 증심천정점에서는 43종이 출현하였다. 월별 출현종 변화는 양동시장정점에서 가장 컸고 동산타워정점에서 가장 작았으며 강우가 출현종 변이의 큰 요인이었다. 부착조류도 규조류가 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였다. 광주천 조류의 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인의 분석에서 조류의 총 개체수와 성관성을 가장 크게 보인 요소는 클로로필 a (평균: R=0.795)의 농도인 것으로 나타났다. 조류 성장에 중요한 영양염류인 TN과 TP도 양동시장정점에서 상관성이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 기상요인으로는 7일 전 강우와 총 개체수 사이에 비교적 높은 상관성이 나타났는데 광주천의 상류인 동산타워정점에서 R=0.810의 상관도를 기록하였다. 기온과 습도는 거의 상관관계를 보이지 않았고, BOD와 COD, DO, pH의 경우도 미미한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 총 개체수에 영향을 미치는 여러 가지 요인들에 대한 상관관계를 지점별로 살펴 보면, 동산타워정점에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 조사시점의 7일 전 강우로 상류에서 하류로 갈수록 그 영향력이 감소되었다. 클로로필 a의 농도와 개체수의 상관성은 개체수가 점차로 증가하는 하류에서 그 상관성이 높았으며, 이 두 가지 요인을 제외한 나머지 pH, DO, BOD, COD, SS, TN, TP 등은 모두 가장 하류인 유촌교정점에서보다 양동시장정점에서 더 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.
