  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the levels of career attitude maturity according to biological sex and sex-role identity types of college students majoring in foodservice. In order to achieve this purpose, 300 students majoring in foodservice-related fields from 4 colleges located in Kyonggi, Daejeon, and Daegu province were selected as a sample. A total of 266 copies of the questionnaire were analyzed after excluding 34 responses. The results of this study were as follows. First, perceived career attitude maturity level of male students was higher than that of female students(p<.05). Second, perceived career attitude maturity level of the students categorized as the androgynous type was the highest, followed by the masculine, feminine and undifferentiated types of students (p<.05). Third, the levels of decisiveness, purposiveness, self-reliance of male students categorized as androgynous, masculine, and undifferentiated types were higher than those of female students. The levels of decisiveness, purposiveness, self-reliance perceived by female students classified as femininity were higher than those of male students. These results show that the androgynous type is considered to be more desirable and positive for career development. Therefore, a career counseling program in needed to enhance androgyny based on biological sex.

  • The object of this study is to compare and analyze mathematically gifted and non-gifted elementary students in the family system and career attitude maturity, understand the characteristics of the former, and provide assistance for career education for both groups. The subjects include 145 mathematically gifted elementary students (73 fifth graders, 72 sixth graders) and 167 non-gifted students (78 fifth graders, 89 sixth graders) in G educational agencies. Materials for the experiment include amended family system test and career attitude maturity test. While t-test was conducted to solve the first research question, Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to solve the other one. The research findings were as follows: First, mathematically gifted elementary students, compared to non-gifted students, turned out to have higher rates of the family system and career attitude maturity rate and showed statistically meaningful positive relationship. Second, the lower components of the family system and career attitude maturity, there seems to be no relationship between family-flexibility and finality. However, among other components, there was a level of significance at 5% which shows statistically meaningful positive relationship. In summary, this found that the family system is able to have an effect on the career attitude maturity for both mathematically gifted elementary students and non-gifted students. Hence, it need to be considered the components of family system when the teacher guides mathematically gifted elementary students and non-gifted students associated with their career.

  • If predicting of compressive strength of construction in construction field at early age is possibile, rational strength management & schedule plan is possible. With method for predicting strength of concrete, many researchers have been making study of maturity method. On the other hand, nowadays rationalization of construction capacity and reduction of a term of works due to improvement of construction capacity and application of a new method of construction is gathering strength with important issue. In accordance with this present condition, construction is being progressed in winter, but proper construction mothed and countermeasure for strength management is not established in case of winter construction. Therefore to investigate application in construction field at winter of strength prediction model that developed at former study, this study aim to measure application of developed strength prediction model through manufacture of mock-up concrete according to kind of strength level at 5$^{\circ}C$.

  • Aims. In order to analyze the concept of stigma, so to develop a valid instrument to measure stigma. Methods. First, a concept analysis was conducted with the aim of clarifying the state of the science of discipline-specific conceptualizations of stigma. The criterion-based method of concept analysis as described by Morse and colleagues was used (Morse et al., 1996; Morse, 2000). This analytic process enabled the assessment of the scientific maturity of the concept of stigma. The interdisciplinary concept of stigma was found to be immature. Based on this level of maturity it was determined that in order to advance the concept of stigma toward gloater maturity. techniques of concept development using the literature as data were applied. In this process, questions were 'asked of the data' (in this case, the selected disciplinary literatures) to identify the conceptual components of stigma. Results. The inquiry into the concept of stigma led to the development of an expanded interdisciplinary conceptual definition by merging the most coherent commonalties from each discipline. And the conceptual components of stigma were identified. The antecedent factors of stigma were "apart from social identity". The attributes of stigma were "devaluing, labeling, negative stereotypes, discrimination". The consequences of stigma were "social rejection, social isolation, deficiency of social support, low social status".

  • This study was conducted to increase the utility and productivity of forage crops at high altitued areas. For that purpose, 21 cultivars of corn and 2 cultivars of rye were cultivated for 3 years using a randomized block designed with 3 replications. The results obtained were as follows. 1. In the Taekwallyong area (800m above sea level) which has a short frostless period, all the seeding and harvest of corn must be finished within about 135 days between mid May, the time of the last frost, and late September, the time of the first frost 2. It was relatively safe for the early maturity cultivar(ll0days) and the medium maturity cultivar(l20days), compared to the late maturity cultivar(l30days) which might have had the possibility of an overlapping period between the time of harvest and the first frost in high altitude areas 3. The productivity of forage corn, which is the most efficient crop for capturing solar energy, varied significantly with the climate circumstances but the productivity of Taekwallyong showed similar results of 19 M/T/ha, compared with 20 M/T/ha in Suwon from the '96-'98 study 4. Rye could be cultivated in high altitude areas and when corn was raised as a second crop after rye in the same year, it was possible to increase the productivity of dry matter yield by 20% through double cropping(P < 0.05). • Purpose: Simple part or equipment is necessary TRA(Technology Readiness Assessment) or MRA(Manufacturing Readiness Assessment). But sole maturity like TRA, MRA has limit complex systems or SoS(System of System). Especially complex weapon system need from the System Maturity Point of view. This research shows necessity of SRA(System Readiness Assessment). Methods: In case of complex systems, it is essential to SRA(System Readiness Assessment). For the purpose of calculating SRL(System Readiness Level), TRL and IRL must be calculated. And then SRL can obtain know from equation of TRL and IRL. To prove SRA effectiveness, it is calculated SRL of JTDLS(Joint Tactical DataLink System) programs. Results: SRA procedure is proposed and case study shows as examples of JTDLS programs. Although result of TRA is TRL6, result of SRA is not 0.6. From this research, we can know necessity of SRA. Especially complex systems or SoS(System of System) is essential to SRA. Conclusion: SRA(System Readiness Assessment) is required to overcome limitation of sole maturity and to achieve a successful acquisition of high quality weapon system. This research intended to suggest SRA procedure and case study in complex defense system.
