  • The concept of weak implicative filters is introduced in BE-algebras. Some characterizations of weak implicative filters are derived in terms of filters of a BE-algebra. Fuzzification is applied to the class of weak implicative filters. Some properties of fuzzy weak implicative filters are studied with respect to fuzzy relations and homomorphisms. The notion of triangular normed fuzzy weak implicative filters is introduced in BE-algebras and their properties are studied.

  • We consider some simple periodic functions on the field of rational numbers with values in ${\mathbb{Q}}/{\mathbb{Z}}$ which are defined in terms of lowest-term-expression of rational numbers. We prove the density of graphs of these functions by constructing explicitly points on the graphs close to a given point using continued fractions.

  • In this paper, we generalize the Gottlieb groups and the related G-sequence of those groups, and present some sufficient conditions to ensure the exactness or non-exactness of G-sequences at some terms. We also give some applications of the exactness or non-exactness of G-sequences. Especially, we show that the non-exactness of G-sequences implies the non-triviality of homotopy groups of some function spaces.

  • We investigate the multiple nontrivial solutions of the asymmetric beam equation $u_{tt}+u_{xxxx}=b_1[{(u + 2)}^+-2]+b_2[{(u + 3)}^+-3]$ with Dirichlet boundary condition and periodic condition on t. We reduce this problem into a two-dimensional problem by using variational reduction method and apply the Mountain Pass theorem to find the nontrivial solutions of the equation.

  • The cyclically presented groups which arise as fundamental groups of cyclic branched coverings of the knot $5_2$ are studied. The fundamental polyhedra for these groups are described. Moreover the cyclic covering manifolds are obtained in terms of Dehn surgery and as two-fold branched coverings of the 3-sphere.

  • The main results concern with the self maps on the Klein bottle. We obtain the Reidemeister numbers and the Nielsen numbers for all self maps on the Klein bottle. In terms of the Nielsen numbers of their iterates, we totally determine the minimal sets of periods for all homotopy classes of self maps on the Klein bottle.

  • We describe the asymptotic behavior of functions of the Royden p-algebra in terms of p-extremal length. We also prove that each bounded $\cal{A}$-harmonic function with finite energy on a complete Riemannian manifold is uniquely determined by the behavior of the function along p-almost every curve.

  • In this paper we investigate the approximate controllability for the following nonlinear functional differential control problem: $$x^{\prime}(t)+Ax(t)+{\partial}{\phi}(x(t)){\ni}f(t,x(t))+h(t)$$ which is governed by the variational inequality problem with nonlinear terms.

  • In this paper, a 2-circular matrix theory is developed, and a concept of spectral radius for biorthogonal wavelet is introduced. We propose a novel design method by minimizing the spectral radius and obtain a wavelet which has better performance than the famous 9-7 wavelet in terms of image compression coding.
