The instruments used in this study were Organizational Commitment Scale developed by Mowday et al. and Job Involvement Scale developed by Kanungo. The role stress was measured by the scale developed by Rizzo( : role conflict, role ambiguity) and Beehr( : role overload). T-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test and pearson's correlation coefficient were used for data ana1isis. Major findings were as follows : 1. Mean scores for organizational commitment were 3.008, job involvement 3.074, and role stress 2. 815( :role conflict 2.802, role ambiguity 2.253, role overload 3.294) on a 5 point scale. 2. All of personal characteristics were significantly related to the level of organizational commitment : age(r=.481, p=.000), clinical experience(r= .479, p=.000), educational level(t=4.11, p= .000), position(F=30.867, p=.000), marital status(t=-5.63, p=.000) and hospital agency (F=21.374, p=.000). 3. All of personal characteristics were significantly related to the level of job involvement : age(r= .381, p=.000), clinical experience(r=.393, p= .000), educational level(t=3.72, p=.000), position(F=18.004, p=.000), marital status(t=-4. 91, p=.000) and hospital agency(F=39.441, p= .000). 4. There was a negative relationship between role stress and organizational commitment(r=-.519, p=.000). 5. There was a negative relationship between role stress and job involvement(r=-.256, p=.000). 6. There was a positive relationship between organizational commitment and job involvement (r=.591, p=.000).

  • Social services are divided into care services and other support services for the elderly, children and the disabled. These social services are the subject of great policy interest in that they can create two effects at the same time: increase in labor demand for service providers and increase the possibility of long-term accumulation of human capital for service recipients. Therefore, this study aims to confirm the hypothesis according to whether the use of social services affects family relationships and the effects of social service users' psychological adaptation on marital and parent-child relationships even when other related variables are controlled. The final result of this thesis is a regression analysis to find out the effect of psychological adaptation on the family relationship, spouse relationship, and relationship with children of subjects who have experience using social services. -.661, p=0.001), the higher the psychological adaptation, the higher the spouse satisfaction (β=.465, p=0.001) and relationship satisfaction with children (β=.360, p=0.001). In other words, it was found that the more depressed the psychologically, the more negative the relationship with spouse and children.

  • Purpose: This study investigated the relationship of the partnership between nurses and parents of hospitalized children with the quality of pediatric nursing care as perceived by pediatric nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 90 nurses. The data collected were analyzed using the independent t-test and the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The level of partnership between nurses and parents showed significant differences by nurses' age (t=2.22, p=.029) and marital status (t=2.54, p=.013). The quality of pediatric nursing care was found to significantly differ by the nurses' age (t=2.62, p=.013), marital status (t=4.17, p<.001), whether nurses had children (t=2.53, p=.020), pediatric ward work experience (t=2.43, p=.020), and total work experience (t=2.51, p=.016). The level of partnership between nurses and parents was positively correlated with the quality of pediatric nursing care (r=.48, p<.001). Conclusion: To improve the quality of nursing care for hospitalized children and their parents, it is important to consider the specific characteristics of pediatric nurses, whose clinical skills should be improved.

  • This study focuses on immigrant women who are married to Korean men and who live in a multicultural family situation in Gyeonggi-do. These women experience acculturative stress and marital conflict and this study aims to determine how social support seeks to mediate the effects of those stressors. The women in this study participated in activities and received services from one of Gyeonggi-do Province's civic organizations, religious organizations, or social service organizations, such as the Social Welfare Agency and the Multicultural Family Support Center. In order to verify the study's hypothesis, the researchers used the following statistical analytical methods : t-test, two-way ANOVA and multi-regression analysis. Analysis of the study's results showed that the highest degree of marital conflict was found in the sub-zones and variables that were personal. Those variable were : the difference in mindset and values (personal domain), economic problems (communal living area), a child's upbringing and education issues (third party area), and the participant's sex life (in the marital relationship). The hypothesis was tested using the research model validation and the results are summarized as follows. First, in order to analyze the relationship between the marriage migration females' acculturative stress and the impact of that stress on marriage conflict, the hierarchical regression analysis was used. It identified that a direct correlation existed between acculturative stress and marriage conflict; where a higher degree of acculturative stress was present, a higher degree of marriage conflict was found. Second, the study found a statistical significance in the correlation and relationship (${\beta}$=.208, p<0.05) between the acculturative stress of the marriage migration female and material support. In other words, the material support can be seen as having a moderating effect on the acculturative stress, which is the independent variable, and the marital conflict, which is the dependent variable.

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the level of knowledge on and stress from delirium among recovery room nurses, and correlations between these factors. Methods: In this study, 125 nurses agreed to participate in the study were surveyed from October 8 to October 28, 2013. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\grave{e}}$ test and Pearson correlation. Results: Average percentage of correct answers to questions about delirium was 81.9% and the mean score was 26.22 (${\pm}5.01$). The mean score for recovery room nurses' work stress from emergency delirium was 3.86 (${\pm}0.99$). Extent of knowledge on delirium significantly differed by age (F=15.017, p<.001), length of clinical experience (F=22.132, p<.001), length of recovery room experience (F=10.538, p<.001), education (F=3.312, p =.040), and marital status (t=4.107, p<.001). Stress from ED was significantly related to age (F=9.185, p<.001), clinical experience (F=7.077, p=.001), and marital status (t=-2.027, p =.045). Knowledge on delirium had a negative relationship with stress from delirium (r=-.514, p<.001). Conclusion: Results show that nurses gained knowledge of delirium from their own clinical experience indicating a need to develop educational programs to improve knowledge on delirium and plans to reduce stress from delirium for recovery room nurses.
