  • SPC(Statistical Process Control) provides objective means of controlling quality in any transformation processes by analyzing statistically data gathered in the process. Considering the fact that a measure to feedback results of the process investigation in the real time is required, it is very practical to construct the SPC system as a module of the POP(Point of Production) system. Because this approach can make the investment cost reduced and achieve goals of production/process control and SPC simultaneously.   • Nowadays, green purchasing, stop global warming, love the mother earth, and others that related to environment become hot issues. Manufactures industries tend to more active and responsive to those issues by adopting green strategies or program like Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing (ECM). In this article, an electronic company had applied 12 ECM Program and tries to choose one of those programs using 6 criteria, such as total cost involved, quality, recyclable material, process waste reduction, packaging waste reduction, and regulation compliance. By using multi-criteria decision making model, i.e. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and Modified TOPSIS methods, the ECM Program 9 (Open pit) is the best option.

  • The data were collected from the water sports industries, resort owners, equipment manufactures and the associations. The inquiry and data collection were made by visiting the corresponding facilities. Based on these data, the plan for infra construction of water leisure sports were proposed.

  • Research for the synthesis of high-temperature polymers by the photochemical method has been carrying out. The use of cheap and available compounds (viz. benzene, its alkyl, aryl and halogen substitutes, furan and maleic anhydride) subject to ultra violet irradiation resulted in a single stage quantitative yield of about 40 new polymers: polyimide films, enamel insulation, molding materials. At present experimental & industrial lots of wire have been produced. Polymer insulation possesses temperature exploitation range (from -l00$^{\circ}C$ to +300$^{\circ}C$ ) without significant changing of properties. As a result, new polyimide lacquers for production of a wide number of technical articles, such as polyimide films, fibres, enamel-wires, press-materials have been synthesized. An application field of the polyimides in membrane technology, printing plate and optic electronics manufactures has been outlined.

  • For many years, testing laboratories, research institutes and manufactures try to find a reliable water tree accelerated ageing test that is able to show whether a polymer Medium Voltage cable os susceptible to water treeing or not. Test on laboratory samples, model cable designs, and fell size cable are presented Apart form aging, another important aspect of any accelerated aging test is the right choice of th preconditioning method. This paper is the analysis of weibull distribution method after an accelerated aging test of MV(Medium Voltage) cable.

  • Recently, energy-saving technology is rapidly becoming a crucial issue for mankind due to the depletion of natural resources. From this perspective, every automobile manufactures are trying to develop light materials and to validate safety with environmental consideration. In this study, we developed clutch connector tube which is the parts of power transferring clutch with light materials to substitude for existing general steel materials. We also verified that the general steel materials can be replaced with nylon, fiberglass, stainless and plastic materials or not. As a result, we verified that the mixture of glass and nylon composite material can substitude the general steel.

  • Nowadays, the automobile manufactures make a great efforts to reduce manufacturing cost, body weight and to develop eco-environmental parts in order to be more competitive and solve global warming. For these reasons, materials of automobile's parts are changed over from general carbon steel and stainless steel to plastic and Aluminum. And, laser welding technology is introduced to apply welding between aluminum parts. In this paper, the data of laser welding parameters is collected through lots of the experiment according to the material, welding speed and laser power to apply laser welding in Aluminum fuel filler neck assembly. After manufacturing prototype of aluminum fuel filler neck, vibration durability test, tensile strength test and salt water test are applied to verify product's satisfied function.

  • In most vehicle manufactures have traditionally relied on find-fix method of human auditor, mainly due to variation excitation source. To solve the BSR noise, the requirements for BSR test are presented in terms of detection of noise source, analysis of time-frequency and sound pressure, sound quality for noise. A number of new technology direction, particularly in the field of noise source identification application and psycho-acoustics from the Zwicker's sound quality parameter, the computed objective sound metrics and subjective jury test result.

  • The press cutter is productive equipment that practically manufactures materials such as fabrics, papers, films, leathers, rubbers etc. into the desired shapes using cutting method. Plate cutting process is one of the primary energy absorbing mechanisms in a grounding or collision event. The cutting mechanism is complicated and involves plastic flow of plate in the vicinity of the tip, friction between wedge and plate, deformation of plate. In this paper, we studied the effect of friction between cutter and plastic sheet for producing precise and superior products. The press cutter is analyzed numerically using MARC finite element program according to the variation of friction coefficients. The FEM results showed that normal stress, equivalent cauchy stress, normal total strain, equivalent total strain are good when friction coefficient is 0.0 and shear stress, shear total strain are good when friction coefficient is 0.8.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current development of Quick Response (QR) system and to identify factors related to QR adoption. A random sample of 250 apparel manufactures were selected from the Korean apparel manufacturers' list Response rate was 41% (m=102) A mail questionnaire was used to investigate the purpose of the study. ANOVAs and Duncan's multiple range tests were used. The results are as follows: 1. The most frequently used technologies were small lot orders and CAD and the least used technology is the electronic order system, 2. Firm size product characteristics(product category fashion change) and CEO's age were significantly related to the usage level of QR technologies.
