Customer satisfaction becomes one of the important managerial concerns associated with corporate competency in current competitive environment for Internet communication service companies. Hence, it is demanding to improve a company's customer satisfaction through the total quality management perspective. In practice, engineers as well as the management hope to find major quality characteristics with Internet communication network that is closely related to customer satisfaction, consequently aiming to the raise of their company's customer satisfaction. This paper presents an empirical relationship analysis between network quality characteristics and customer satisfaction on Internet communication. Methodologically, the relationship analysis framework is based on the regression variable selection procedures. In this framework, it is implemented that; 1) iterative model building; and 2) consistent criteria application to statistical tests for selecting significant variables. A case study shows that; 1) the customer satisfaction on the network connection seems to be more closely related to the network quality characteristics compared with the customer satisfaction on the network speed; and 2) the download disconnection rate has relatively evident relationship with the customer satisfaction on the network connection.

Recently, Decision Support Systems (DSS) research has seen a more to combine Artificial Intelligence (AI) including neural network techniques with traditional DSS concepts and technologies to build an intelligent DSS or a knowledge-based DSS. This article proposes a Management Evaluation and its Support System (MESS) as a knowledge-based DSS. The management evaluation of a firm means the performance of all managerial operations is appraised by considering the situations of the firm. A neural network is used to represent the management evaluation structure as a suitable means of management knowledge representation. Finally a case study in a telecommunication corporation is presented.

Operational strategy for inventory control in the distribution system has been given attention. If an individual enterprise implements the strategy, it is not easy to gain scale merits because of limited quantity or burden of inventory. In this study, we propose an operational strategy for inventory control that considers managerial integration of regional distribution centers (RDCs) and present a model of it. In a network of several RDCs, they could share inventory information and supply parts for others in case of an inventory shortage. And a numerical example of the network is illustrated, which compares two operational strategies, integration management of RDCs and individual management of them. The result shows total cost reduction in the strategy of integration management through the efficient inventory control of multi-echelon distribution.

우리나라는 국가 경제와 산업발전을 위해 정부주도의 창업정책을 추진하여 높은 수준의 창업률을 달성하였다. 그러나 창업률만큼 높은 수준의 창업기업 폐업률은 국내 창업생태계의 질적 성장이 미흡하다는 것으로 판단할 수 있다. 본 연구는 창업기업이 죽음의 계곡을 극복하여 생존율을 높이는 방안을 입지환경 관점에서 연구하고자 한다. 창업기업의 기술지향성과 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향과 입지환경을 구성하는 경제성, 접근성, 네트워크 요인의 조절효과를 분석한다. 본 연구목표를 달성하기 위해 혁신중개자의 기업지원사업을 받은 창업기업 대상으로 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 기술지향성의 연구개발역량은 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 시장지향성의 시장정보생성과 시장정보대응은 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 입지환경의 하부요인인 접근성은 기술혁신성과 경영성과 간의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 미치고, 입지환경(경제성, 접근성, 네트워크)은 시장정보생성과 경영성과 간의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 미치는 것으로 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 창업기업 성공실패 선행연구를 비교·분석 후 공통요인을 도출하였다. 실증분석과 관계자 인터뷰를 통해 창업기업의 지속적 성장을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다. 향후 연구에서는 수도권·비수도권 창업기업을 대상으로 비교·분석이 필요하며, 지역을 이탈하여 수도권 이전한 창업기업 대상으로 연구하여 지역창업생태계를 발전시키는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

This paper addresses a performance evaluation model for ERP system's implementation using Analytic Network Process (ANP) technique. In this study, the performance variables are identified as the perspectives of cost, business process, systems operation, and change management, respectively. The empirical study also investigated factors that affect the performance variables to find out the causal relationship between them using the ANP approach. The data for the empirical analysis were collected from manufacturing companies that have implemented ERP systems. The research findings indicate the proposed model is powerful in proposing that the indirect relationship between influencing factors and managerial effectiveness, mediated by employee satisfaction, is an important one.

시장 상황의 변화에 따라 상품의 효율적인 공급을 위해 기업은 한정된 예산 내에서 공급 사슬을 변화시킬 필요가 있다. 또한, 경쟁의 심화로 공급 사슬 내에서의 비용 절감뿐만 아니라 적절한 공급 사슬의 구성을 통해 상품의 정시 배송 등 고객 만족도를 높이는 것은 점점 더 중요한 요소로 고려되고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 공급 사슬 확장에 따른 네트워크 재설계 문제를 다루고 있으며 이에 따른 수리 모형을 제안한다. 또한 유전 알고리즘을 이용하여 예산 제한의 변화에 따른 총 가중 거리의 변화를 계산하여 경영진의 의사결정을 도울 수 있는 방법을 모색한다.

Current computer viruses are one of the most serious problems in information age due to their potential demage and impact on use of information systems. To make the problem worse, virus development technology has been advanced rapidly, and use of network systems has expanded widely. Therefore computer viruses are much more complex and use of anti-virus software(AV S/W) is not enough to prrevent virus incidents. It implies that computer viruses as well as other information security matters are not solely a technical problem but also a managerial one. This study emphasized on computer virus controls from managerial perspective of information security and investigated factors influencing the effectiveness of computer virus controls. Organization's comprehensive security policies provide guidelines on how organization or individual can protect themselves from computer viruses. Especially, user's education has positive impact on user's security related characteristics. Based on the analysis of research model using structural equation modeling technique, security policies were influencing security controls and improving user's computer viruses related awareness. Also security controls had positive impact on security effectiveness. However, no significant relationship was found between user's security related characteristics and security effectiveness.

본 연구에서는 무기 시스템의 위조품 적용 방지를 위한 위조품의 관리 방법과 식별 방법에 대해서 알아보고, 위조품 관리 표준과 품질 보증 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해서 구체적으로 다음과 같은 3가지 영역에 대한 연구를 수행하였다: 1) 위조품에 대한 일반적인 연구, 2) 해외 구매 부품의 위조품의 관리 방법, 3) 위조품의 품질 보증 방법. 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 위조품 관리 방법, 관리 표준 및 네트워크 구축, 시스템 개선 및 품질 보증 방법 강화 등의 국외 위조 부품 도입 적용 방지를 위한 품질보증 정책 방향을 제안하였다.

The business world has been undergoing a digital transformation. The adoption of multi-sided digital platform across the world has sped up this transformation. Multi-sided digital platforms create value by mediating interactions and transactions of distinct groups of users. A platform and its stakeholders need to be considered as a business ecosystem. Elements or components in the ecosystem exchange values and together form a network of exchange values. The objective of this paper is to construct a framework for crafting and observing digital business ecosystems. The foundation theories used to construct the framework are transaction cost economy (TCE), multi-sided markets, and value network. This paper uses Go-Jek, a growing ride-hailing platform from Indonesia, as a case to discuss how the framework works in mapping Go-Jek's digital business ecosystem, and then explain its expansion strategy. This paper has both theoretical and managerial contributions. It provides a formal definition of digital business ecosystems as a network of exchange values. The framework does not only help studies the existing business ecosystems but also can be used to craft a new business ecosystem. It can also be used to study value exchanges within the ecosystem, assessing or crafting ecosystem expansion strategies.

Recently expanded and enhanced software system inevitably demands serious managerial considerations on its maintenance cost. This study proposes a systematic and thorough assessment model for software development methods to the end of maintainability, incorporation ISO 9126 quality standards-based criteria. The Analytic Network Process (ANP) is employed in our model to find the effect of any dependency among the items of the criteria and the alternative methods. This study then applies the model empirically in order to evaluate the efficacies of the Structured Method and the Objected-Oriented Method. At first, this study performs the test on the existence and direction of any dependency under the three types of assumptions, and then determines the relative dominance of the two methods.
