Mollusks were collected with Ponar grab from seven stations in lower part of Han river, Korea from June 1995 through May 1996. Basket sampler with artificial substrate was also employed to collect the adhesive mollusks. In addition to above mentioned sampling stations, Bam islet was surveyed. A total of species, Corbicula fluminea, Anodonta woodiana, Unio douglasiae, Limnoperna fortunei, corbicula fenouilliana and Physa acuta, were collected in lower part of Han river. Author reviewed the literatures on the ecological survey of molluscan fauna in Han river.

The specimens of triphorid snail, Bouchetriphora consfera were collected from Jeju-do, Korea and diagnostic characters were analysed. As a result, the genus Bouchetriphora is reported for the first time in Korean malacol fauna and the family Triphoridae in Korea turned out to be 15 species of 10 genera.

Pulmonate snail, Onchidium hongkongensis from muddy flat of Muan-gun was recorded as new to the Korean molluscan fauna. Shell-less body light-gray or reddish-gray in colour, oval shaped with numerous pustules on dorsal surface usually covered with mud. Black pair of tentacles with terminal eyes. Including the new record in this study, the family Onchidiidae 2 genera and 2 species in the Korean waters.

A specimen of the unknown form of Octopus species was collected from Onsan, Kyungsangnam-do, eastern coast of Korea on 20th June 2004 with a bottom trawl. The specimen distinguished from the other Octopus species reported hitherto by its extremely short 2nd pair of arm and hectocotilization of the right 4th arm. It may be described, therefore, as new species, but only one specimen was collected unfortunately. A new name will be deferred, consequently, until more specimens will be available in the future.

The chromosome of Anodota woodiana in the Lake Uiam was analysed as using air drying technique of spermatogonial tissue to obtain mitotic and meiotic chromosomes. The chromosome chcle did mot differ, in general, from that found in other bivalves. Chromosome of this species consisted of metacentrics and submetacentrics. The longest chromosome was 2.1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and the shortest was about 1.4 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in length.

A histochemical and ultrastructural study on the salivary gland of a freshwater snail Radix auricularia coreana was conducted .The epithelial cells of the salivary gland are composed of 9 types of cells. Two types out of them work as frame cells supporting the epithelium and the secretory cells embedded within the epithelium Seven types of secretory cells are classifiable depend on their histochemical reactions and ultrastructures. The materials secreted by the secretory cells are neutral mucopolysaccharide, acid mucopolysaccharide, and glycogen.

연체동물 우리말 사용에 따른 혼란을 해결하고, 한국산 연체동물 총목록 작성의 예비연구로써 이미 국내에 보고된 분류군의 우리말 이름을 수집, 조사하였다. 우리말 이름을 가진 종은 무판류 1종, 군부류 16종, 복족류(고둥류)500종, 이매패류(조개류) 226종, 굴족류 4종, 두족류 34종으로 모두 781종이었다. 그리고 우리말 이름의 어원과 조사결과 나타난 문제점을 제시하고, 우리말 이름의 통일 작업이나 제정에 필요한 원칙을 제언한다.

The specimens of bursid snail, Bursa (Bursa) bufonia (Gmelin, 1791) were collected from Jeju Island, Korea and diagnostic characters were analysed. This is the first report of the family Bursidae and the genus Bursa in the Korean waters.

The Korean muricid snails are listed include previous record and three unrecorded species, Morula iostoma, Coralliophila morishimai, and C. abnormis collected from Mudo of Jeju-do were redescribed. As a result, the family Muricidae in Korea turned out to be 44 species of 22 genera.

A new species of the mytiloidean freshwater bivalve is described from Baengnyong Cave, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangweon-do. Limnoperna coreana n. sp. belongs to the genus Limnoperna Rochebrune, 1882 with the byssus. This species has a small shell with the glossy surface and rounded-triangular and differs morphologically from all of its congeners.
