이중 콘덕턴스법에 의한 실기체방출률 측정 (Measurement of Real Outgassing Rate using Double Conductance Method)

  • Double conductance method is proposed as an effectvie way to measure real outgassing rates of materials regardless of their adsorbing power. The real outgassing rate and the sticking coefficient of the CFC (carbon fiber composite) which is used widely as the material for armor plates infusion experiment devices were obtained by adopting this method. At $40^{\circ}C$ the real ougassing rate was $Pa, m^3/s.m^2$(in $N_2$ equivalent), which was higher than 5 times the measured one, and the sticking coefficient was about 0.018($H_2O\; and \;H_2$ were the main residual gases).

  • This paper presents an adaptive neural computation algorithm for multi-layered neural networks which are applied to identify the characteristic function of dynamic systems. The main feature of the proposed algorithm is that the initial learning rate for the employed neural network is assigned systematically, and also the assigned learning rate can be adjusted empirically for effective neural leaning. By employing the approach, enhanced modeling of dynamic systems is possible. The effectiveness of this approach is veri tied by simulations.

  • In this paper, a development of the sensor fusion algorithm for a visual control of mobile robot is presented. The output data from the visual sensor include a time-lag due to the image processing computation. The sampling rate of the visual sensor is considerably low so that it should be used with other sensors to control fast motion. The main purpose of this paper is to develop a method which constitutes a sensor fusion system to give the optimal state estimates.   • The characteristics of mild combustion and pollutant emission were investigated computationally with supplied air stream temperature and dilution rate in jet flame. The air was diluted with main combustion products. As dilution rate increased at fixed air temperature, the temperature distribution of burner inside was uniformed and the maximum mole fraction of CO and NO was decreased. In addition, emission indices for NO, CO, and $CO_2$ were compared with air temperature and dilution rate.

디젤기관에 있어서 에멀젼연료 연소특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Emulsified Fuel on Combustion Characteristics in a Diesel Engine)

  • A study on combustion characteristics using emulsified fuel in a diesel engine were performed experimentally. In this paper, the experiments were performed at engine speed 1800rpm, emulsion ratios were 0%, 10%, 20%, and main measured items were specific fuel consumption, cylinder pressure, rate of pressure rise, rate of heat release etc. The obtained conclusions were as follows. 1) Specific fuel consumption increased maximum by 19.8% at low load, but was not affected at full load. 2) Rate of pressure rise and rate of heat release were about the same in the case of 10% and 20% of emulsion ratio. 3) Cylinder Pressure increased 9.6%, rate of pressure rise increased 53.4% in case of emulsion ratio 20% at full load. 4) Rate of heat release increased 72.4% in case of emulsion ratio 20% at full load.

항공기 구조생존성 평가를 위한 복합재의 변형률 속도 영향성 분석 (Investigation of Tensile Strain Rate Effects on Composite Material for Aircraft Structural Survivability Assessment)

  • 항공기의 경우 충격 및 폭발과 같은 외부 피격에 의해 수압 램 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 고변형률 변형을 동반하는 수압 램 현상은 구조 생존성에 큰 영향을 미치는 요인 중 하나이다. 복합재 구조물의 기계적 물성은 이러한 고변형률 조건하에서 급격하게 변화하기 때문에 이러한 영향성을 실험적으로 분석하는 것은 항공기 생존성 평가를 위해 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 변형률 속도 변화의 영향성을 분석하기 위해 저속 및 고속 시험조건으로 인장시험을 수행하였다. 시험결과 수압 램 발생 환경과 유사한 수준으로 변형률 속도가 증가하면 인장계수가 인장강도보다 더 증가한다. 고변형률 조건에서 인장계수가 복합재 구조물 파손의 주요 요소이므로 회귀분석을 통해서 변형률 속도 변화에 따른 인장계수를 예측하였다. 항공기 피격시 발생할 수 있는 고변형률에 대한 복합재의 기계적 물성 자료를 획득하고 분석하였다. 획득된 자료는 향후 구조 생존성을 고려한 항공기 복합재 구조 설계 및 평가에 활용가능하다.

Expression and Prognostic Implications of FOXO3a and Ki67 in Lung Adenocarcinomas

  • To investigate the significance of FOXO3a and Ki67 in human lung adenocarcinomas. Envision immunohistochemical staining and Western blotting were used to examine the protein expression of FOXO3a in 127 cases of human lung adenocarcinoma specimens. The positive rate in lung adenocarcinoma (55.9%) was lower than that in normal tissues (80%). We found that the expression of FOXO3a was closely related with the degree of differentiation, TNM staging, lymph node metastasis and survival. In addition, significant differences in the different pathological types of lung adenocarcinoma cases (P<0.01). The FOXO3a positive rate of the acini as the main type (APA) (86.7%) and the lepidic as the main type (LPA) (82.4%) was higher than the solid as the main type (SPA) (50.0%), the papilla as the main type (PPA) (42.9%) and the micropapilla as the main type (MPA) (9.4%). Moreover, the expression of FOXO3a was negatively related with Ki67 expression. Our results suggested that the expression of FOXO3a is closely correlated with the aggressiveness of lung adenocarcinoma. It was indicated that disregulation of FOXO3a might play key roles in the occurrence and development of lung a denocarcinoma and joint detection of the two markers might play an important role in diagnosing tumors.

오실로메트릭 측정법을 사용한 심박주기 검출 성능 개선 (Enhancement of Heart Rate Detection using Oscillometric Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 혈압측정으로부터 얻어지는 오실레이션(Oscillation) 신호를 이용하여 심박주기를 검출하고, 심박주기의 정확성을 개선하는 알고리듬을 개발하였다. 이를 위한 혈압측정의 방법으로 오실로메트릭(Oscillometric) 측정법을 사용하였으며, 오실레이션 신호의 피크들로부터 전 후 기울기들의 평균이 교차하는 지점을 실제 피크로 인정하고 심박주기를 계산하였다. 제안된 방법은 그래프 상에서 심박주기의 극심한 편차와 오류를 줄이는 성능을 나타냈다.

유동 가시화와 LDV 측정을 이용한 흡기계 내의 유동장에 관한 실험적 해석 (An Experimental Analysis of the Flow Field in an Air Induction System by Flow Visualization and LDV Measurements)

  • To describe the air flow characteristics within an air cleaner cover and mass air flow sensor (MAFS) entry region installed in a 3.0L engine air induction system, flow visualization, velocity and turbulence intensity measurements were taken in several view planes. A detailed knowledge of the interaction between the design parameters and the flow structures will enhance our understanding of the motions within the flow field and enable engineers to optimize the induction system and reduce the signal-to-noise ratio in the MAFS output. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of coherent motions and the controlling parameters which affect the air flow in the MAFS entrance region over a flow rate of 13-240 kg/hr. The high speed motion pictures illustrated that the air flow generated within the air cleaner cover under steady state condition is quite complex. In both axial and radial planes of the main passage it was found that the flow pattern is remarkably influenced by the air cleaner cover and main passage configuration. A comparison of the flow patterns and measurements in the original and modified air cleaner cover is presented. Measurements from the MAFS indicated an significant reduction in pressure drop and signal noise for the modified cover as compared with the original cover, over an air flow rate of 13-240 kg/hr.

154 kV 및 345 kV 주변압기 부싱의 내진성능 시험 연구 (The Experimental Study on Seismic Capacity of 154 kV & 345 kV Main Transformer Bushings)

  • In this study, seismic performance of bushings and their connection parts was analyzed by performing shaking table tests for various types of bushings widely used as auxiliary equipment of main transformers in domestic substations. As a result of the seismic tests of five types of 154 kV bushings according to the manufacturers, all the bushings secured the structural integrity even at the acceleration of 1.4 g and it was found that leakage of insulating oil didn't occur. Also, the average acceleration amplification rate at the upper part of the bushings was about 2.5 to 3.0 times higher than the lower one. On the other hand, when a representative 345 kV bushing was subjected to the seismic test, the structural integrity was secured even at 1.0 g acceleration similar to the design earthquake load level, but in this test, leakage of insulating oil occurred. However, when a stiffener restricting the connection of the bushing is installed in the same 345 kV bushing, the displacement of the bushing connection is controlled and the stiffener prevent the oil from leaking even at the acceleration of the designed seismic level.
