'캠벨얼리' 포도의 휴면기 눈 발달 및 수삽을 통한 발아 특성 조사 (Bud Development and Bud Break Characteristics in Water Cuttings of 'Campbell Early' Grapevine during Dormancy)

  • 본 연구는 수삽을 이용한 'Campbell Early' 포도나무의 발아 특성 관찰을 통해 눈의 내재 휴면 타파를 위한 저온축적과의 관계를 구명하고, 저온에 노출되는 동안 눈의 발달 양상을 관찰하여 발아와 휴면에 대한 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 만개 120일 후(낙엽기 : 10월 7일)부터 시료를 수집하여 수삽하였으며, 만개 후 125일부터 온도가 $7.2^{\circ}C$도 이하로 내려가 CU 축적이 시작되었다. 발아율은 만개 150일 이후부터 100% 발아하였으나 165일 이후 수집된 가지에 비해 최초 발아까지의 기간이 2배 이상 소요되어 발아속도가 현저히 떨어졌다. 즉, 만개 165일 이후에는 100% 발아할 뿐만 아니라 발아 소요일수가 짧아 내재 휴면이 완전히 타파된 것으로 판단되었다. 이 기간 동안 CH 모델과 Utah 모델에 의한 저온 적산 값 계산 시, 각각 321h와 442CU로 조사되었다. 또한 이 시기 이후부터 주아의 생존율이 급격히 감소하였고, 제 1 부아의 생존율은 시기적인 차이 없이 90% 수준으로 높게 유지되었다. 화아형성이 이루어진 눈을 대상으로 조사된 주아 대비 부아의 비율은 내재 휴면이 타파되기 이전인 만개 후 150일에는 1:0.23으로 주아의 비율이 월등히 높았으나, 내재 휴면이 타파된 이후 최종적으로 만개후 255일에 이르러서는 1:1.54로 주아에 비해 부아의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 액아의 생존율 및 화아형성율과의 각 조사항목 간 상관분석에서는 주아에서만 상관관계가 인정되어 주아의 생존율 자체는 시기와 가장 밀접한 관련을 나타내었고, 주아의 생존율과 화아형성률 사이에 높은 정의 상관관계가 나타났다.

All-ceramic versus titanium-based implant supported restorations: Preliminary 12-months results from a randomized controlled trial

  • PURPOSE. The aim of the present randomized controlled study was to compare prefabricated all-ceramic, anatomically shaped healing abutments followed by all-ceramic abutments and all-ceramic crowns and prefabricated standard-shaped (round-diameter) titanium healing abutments followed by final titanium abutments restored with porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) implant crowns in the premolar and molar regions. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Forty-two patients received single implants restored either by all-ceramic restorations (test group, healing abutment, final abutment, and crown all made of zirconia) or conventional titanium-based restorations. Immediately after prosthetic incorporation and after 12 months of loading, implant survival, technical complications, bone loss, sulcus fluid flow rate (SFFR) as well as plaque index (PI) and implant stability (Periotest) were analyzed clinically and radiologically. RESULTS. After 12 months of loading, an implant and prosthetic survival rate of 100% was observed. Minor prosthetic complications such as chipping of ceramic veneering occurred in both groups. No statistical significant differences were observed between both groups with only a minimum of bone loss, SFFR, and PI. CONCLUSION. All-ceramic implant prostheses including a prefabricated anatomically shaped healing abutment achieved comparable results to titanium-based restorations in the posterior region. However, observational results indicate a benefit as shaping the peri-implant soft-tissue with successive provisional devices and subsequent compression of the soft tissue can be avoided.

Intelligent 2-DOF PID Control For Thermal Power Plant Using Immune Based Multiobjective

  • In the thermal power plant, the main steam temperature is typically regulated by the fuel flow rate and the spray flow rate, and the reheater steam temperature is regulated by the gas recirculation flow rate. However, Strictly maintaining the steam temperature can be difficult due to heating value variation to the fuel source, time delay changes in the main steam temperature, the change of the dynamic characteristics in the reheater. Up to the present time, PID Controller has been used to operate this system. However, it is very difficult to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, since the gain of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error. This paper focuses on tuning of the 2-DOF PID Controller on the DCS for steam temperature control using immune based multiobjective approach. The stable range of a 2-DOF parameter for only this system could be found for the start-up procedure and this parameter could be used for the tuning problem. Therefore tuning technique of multiobjective based on immune network algorithms in this paper can be used effectively in tuning 2-DOF PID controllers.

  • The fatigue crack propagation behavior in SA106 Gr.C main steam pipe weld joint was investigated in air environment. Crack growth rate tests were conducted on base metal and weld metal at load ratio of 0.1 and 0.3 and at frequency of 10Hz. The fatigue crack growth rates of the base metal and the weld metal were above the ASME reference line and the fatigue crack propagation rate of the weld metal was higher than those of the base metal. Fatigue crack growth rate increased with increasing the load ratio and the effect of the load ratio was more significant in the weld metal. The post weld heat treatment increased the fatigue crack growth rates of the base metal by reducing compressive residual stress and decreased those of the weld metal by reducing weld defects.

  • Bending fatigue tests were carried out on the specimenes with two different strength levels in order to investigate small crack growth rate. The main results obtained are as follows : (1) Small crack growth law, $da/dn=C{\sigma}_a{^n}a$ is useful several materials, but is not the rule applicable to all cases generally. (2) When da/dn in several specimens are equal, COD near the crack tip are also nearly equal. (3) Crack tip opening displacement(CTOD) is the main factor to control the small crack growth rate, and da/dn ${\propto}$ CTOD comes into being between the two. Accordingly, $da/dn=C({\sigma}_a{^2}/{\sigma}_s){^n}a^n$ shows the small crack growth rate being reflected crack closure phenomenon.

  • This paper reports on a study of the influence of welding variables on the weld shape of Al-7020 in pulse-GMA welding. Five variables, i.e., wire feed rate, peak pulse current, welding speed, welding votage, and pulse frequency were investigated for their effects on the weld shape. From the results of the 2$^{n-1}$ fractional factorial design, quantitative effects of each variable and the interaction of two variables were obtained, and consequently wire feed rate, welding voltage, and welding speed were determined as the main welding variables. Supplementary experiment was performed for ivestigating the detailed relationship between the main variables nd the seld shape. In this experiment, the penetation of the seldment increased when the wire feed rate was raised, nad the bead width increased when the welding voltage was raised or the welding speed was reduced.d.

  • The investigation was carried out to identify the main pathogen infected with sheath blight in corn plant during 1986-1987. The main fungi of sheath blight isolated from corn plant was identified as Rhizoctonia sobni. Sheath blight in corn plant was first found in early July and infected extremely from late July to end August. Severe sheath blight disease was observed in Gyeongido (Yeoju and Suweon) and Jeonnam (Kwangju) area. The rate of attack was associatied with management and cultural environments of corn plant. Dense planting increased sheath blight, but application of cattle compost reduced the rate of infection. A positive correlation was found between infection rate of shealth blight and concentration of soluble carbohydrate in corn plant (r=0.96). The varieties of Jinjuok, Suweon 83, Suweon 87, Suweon 89, P.3055, P.3160, DK689 and XCG 51 showed remarkable tolerance to sheath blight disease.

연소조건 변화에 따른 LP가스버너의 배기특성 (Emission Characteristics of LP Gas Burner for the Variation of Combustion Conditions)

  • An experimental study was carried out to investigate the emission characteristics of LP gas burner for the Practical combustion conditions including fm voltage, inlet area, gas Pressure, emission resistance, duct length and height. The result shows that CO is almost remains constant for the emission fan voltage, but significantly increases with the reduction rate of air inlet, up to 3000ppm at 50% of reduction rate. Also, the variation of gas pressure has no effect to CO of gas boiler due to its governor which controls gas pressure secondly, but it gives an rapid increase of CO for the gas range. The emission resistance test shows that CO is suddenly increased with the reduction rate of emission duct above 70% and main burner is stopped at 90%. The reverse wind test shows that CO is suddenly increased with the air velocity above 7m/s and main burner is stopped at 9m/s. The more horizontal length of emission duct is long and the vertical height is low, CO is infinitesimally increased.

  • Author measured the bonding strength between Dental Porcelain and Nonprecious Dental Alloy and analyzed diffusion Phenomena at the interfaceby by Auger electron spectroscopy and also Electron spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis. The each specimen was sputtered with Al, Cr, In and Sn. 1. Ni whic is the main element of the matris of dental nonprecious alloy diffuse more than the other element and the Ni diffusion rate of each specimen was well coordinated with the bonding strength of each. 2. The Sn thin film suppress the diffusion rate of Ni of matrix into the Dental Porcelain than the In or Cr thin films. 3. The Al thin film suppress the diffusion rate of Ni than the Sn thin film. 4. The main coponent of dental porcelain : Al, Si, Mo diffused into the matrix of alloy. It means that the each element of dental alloy and dental porelain diffused into the each other part.
