  • In this paper, using binary (N, M, L, $\epsilon$) low correlation zone (LCZ) sequence sets, we construct new quaternary LCZ sequence sets with parameters (2N, 2M, L, $2{\epsilon}$). Binary LCZ sequences for the construction should have period $N\;{\equiv}\;3$ mod 4, L|N, and the balance property. The proposed method corresponds to a quaternary extension of the extended construction of binary LCZ sequence sets proposed by Kim, Jang, No, and Chung [1].

  • In this paper, a new extending method of q-ary low correlation zone(LCZ) sequence sets is proposed, which is a generalization of binary LCZ sequence set by Kim, Jang, No, and Chung. Using this method, q-ary LCZ sequence set with parameters (N,M,L,${\epsilon}$) is extended as a q-ary LCZ sequence set with parameters (pN,pM,p[(L+1)/p]-1,p${\epsilon}$), where p is prime and p|q.

  • In this paper, we construct new LCZ sequence sets with parameters $(2^{n+1}-2,M,L,2)$. In this scheme, we can relatively freely choose the LCZ length L and the resulting LCZ sequence set has the size in which is nearly optimal with respect to Tang, Fan, and Matsufuji bound.

  • In this paper, we propose a new construction method of binary low correlation zone (LCZ) sequence set. New construction method applies Gray mapping to conventional quaternary LCZ sequence set that has specific property. The period of new binary sequence set is twice as that of used sequence set in construction, and maximum magnitude of correlation value within the LCZ and cardinality of new set is also twice as those of used quaternary sequence set. But the LCZ size is the same with that of used sequence set. If the used Quaternary sequence set is optimal, the constructed binary sequence set is optimal with high probability.

  • In this paper, using the binary (N,M,L,1) low correlation zone(LCZ) sequence set with specific property, we propose the construction method of a quaternary LCZ sequence set with parameters (2N,2M,L,2). The binary LCZ sequence using this method must have period $N{\equiv}3$ mod 4, balance property, and specific correlation property. The proposed method is modified from the construction method of binary LCZ sequence set by using binary LCZ sequence with specific condition proposed by Kim, Jang, No, and Chung[4].

  • In this paper, for even integer N, we propose a new construction method of quaternary low correlation zone(LCZ) sequence set from a binary LCZ sequence set with parameters (N,M,L,$\varepsilon$). Proposed method applies the inverse gray mapping from Krone and Sarwate to binary LCZ sequences and their phase shifts. The only needed condition of binary LCZ sequence set used in this construction is even period.

  • As of 2019, Korea's fine dust is the most severe among 38 OECD countries, and in the same year, 「the Framework on Disaster and Safety Management」 was revised to define fine dust as a social disaster. Currently, the government is working to achieve its emission reduction goals by preparing a comprehensive fine dust management plan (2022-2023) consisting of a total of five areas, 42 tasks, and 177 detailed tasks. However, it is necessary to come up with measures in consideration of the various spatial characteristics of the city, not just as a source of emission. Therefore, in this study, the shape of the city was classified using the LCZ (Local Climate Zone) classification system into 17 types by building type and land cover type in Busan, and the average annual PM10 and PM2.5 concentration were mapped using the IDW technique. In addition, Fragstats and Moving Window were used to quantify the LCZ classification system. Finally, correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted to analyze the relationship between the LCZ classification system and PM10 and PM2.5. As a result, it was confirmed that the type of low height of the building and the type of green space with trees had a positive effect on the concentration of PM10 and PM2.5. Therefore, this study is expected to be used as basic data to establish fine dust reduction policies based on efficient spatial planning.
