A radio-frequency (RF) Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) torch system was used for boron-nitride nano-tube (BNNT) synthesis. Because of electrodeless plasma generation, no electrode pollution and effective heating transfer during nano-material synthesis can be realized. For stable plasma generation, argon and nitrogen gases were injected with 60 kW grid power in the difference pressure from 200 Torr to 630 Torr. Varying hydrogen gas flow rate from 0 to 20 slpm, the electrical and optical plasma properties were investigated. Through the spectroscopic analysis of atomic argon line, hydrogen line and nitrogen molecular band, we investigated the plasma electron excitation temperature, gas temperature and electron density. Based on the plasma characterization, we performed the synthesis of BNNT by inserting 0.5~1 um hexagonal-boron nitride (h-BN) powder into the plasma. We analysis the structure characterization of BNNT by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), also grasp the ingredient of BNNT by EELS (Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy) and Raman spectroscopy. We treated bundles of BNNT with the atmospheric pressure plasma, so that we grow the surface morphology in the water attachment of BNNT. We reduce the advancing contact angle to purity bundles of BNNT.

IP는 네트워크 주소를 기반으로 한 라우팅으로 인해 접속 네트워크가 동적으로 변경되는 이동 노드에는 그대로 사용할 수 없다. 이동노드에게 지속적인 인터넷 접속서비스를 제공하기 위해서 IETF는 모바일 IP를 정의하였다. 하지만 모바일 W는 삼각 라우팅 문제와 계층3 핸드오프에 의한 패킷손실로 인해 전송성능이 저하되는 문제를 안고 있다. 특히, 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스를 모바일 IP에서 제공하기 위한 IETF의 두 가지 멀티캐스트 지원방안은 긴 전송경로와 패킷 중복(양방향 터널링 방안), 핸드오프 시 대량의 패킷손실(원격지 가입 방안)로 인해 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스의 품질을 보장하기가 어렵다. 본 논문은 모바일 IP에서의 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스 품질 보장을 위해 IETF의 원격지 가입 방안을 개선한 무손실 원격지 방안을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 본 논문에서 제안된 무손실 원격지 가입 방안은 IETF의 저 지연 핸드오프(low latency handoff)를 멀티캐스트 그룹관리에 적용함으로써 그룹 재가입에 따른지연을 줄였으며, 무손실을 위해 서비스망 전체에서 요구되는 저장공간의 평균 크기가 기존에 제안되었던 무손실 방안의 약 0.58% 만을 사용해도 되는 수준으로 줄었다.

The graft copolymer of chitosan with amino acid, L-lysine was synthesized by heterogeneous copolymerization and was evaluated as an artificial skin. The mechanical properties under dry and wet state, water content, water vapor transmittance rate and biodegradability were measured. The tensile strength and elongation under wet state ranged $0.3-0.5\;kg/mm^2$, 10-13%, respectively. Water vapor transmittance rate ranged $450-500\;g/m^2{\cdot}day$ like that of the normal skin. The weight loss of prepared membrane by protease IV was measured for the degree of biodegradation. The degree of biodegradation was around 15% and after 4 days it was slow. Biocompatibility was evaluated by studying the attachment of human fibroblast on the prepared membrane surface.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of an endodontic infection on presence of furcation involvement in periodontally-involved mandibular molars. All first and second mandibualr molars in 45 patients were selected if at least one was root-filled or had a possible periapical radiolucency. The sample consisted of patients from a referral population at a periodotnal clinic which represented an adult population with a mean age of 47.5 years (range 31 to 63) For mandibular molars with periapical destruction at both roots, frequency of horizontal furcation depth ${\geqq}$ 3 mm was significantly more compared to teeth without periapical destruction. Mean periodontal probing depth was significantly greater at mandibular molars with periapical destruction. It is suggested that a root canal infection in periodontitis-involved molars may potentiate periodontitis progression by spreading of endodontic pathgens through patent accessory canals and dentinal tubules. In conclusion, an endodontic infection in mandibular molars was found to be associated with additional attachment loss in the furcation area, and may thus be considered to be one of several risk factors influencing the prognosis of molars in periodontitis-prone patients.

This paper delves into the question of universality in Native American Literature focusing on Leslie Marmon Silko's Ceremony, exploring some different definitions of universality and looking at the work in the light of these definitions. In this paper I proposed four possible definitions or faces of universality applicable to the narrative of the oppressed people. Firstly, the colonizers indoctrinate their colonized persons with the colonialists' beliefs through the process of assimilation purposefully imposed in the name of universality. In Ceremony Rocky and Emo are the victims of assimilation including militarization. Secondly, the colonized people hold on to their traditional values in face of colonizers' universalism. In Ceremony Tayo shows an attachment to tribal stories in opposition to whites' lies. Thirdly, the colonized can get together by sharing experiences of violence, occupation, and loss of their land and language, forming a bond of "commonality" among them. In Ceremony the story of a medicine man, Betonie, suggests oneness of victims against the evil power of destroyers represented by nuclear bombs. Fourthly and lastly, the universal consists in the subject's trial and practice attempting to achieve universalism against the existing order, not in the stipulation defining what is universal. In the story Tayo endeavors to retrieve his cattle by transgressing whites' property and makes a hole in the established dichotomy of whites and Indians. In sum, Ceremony as a minor literature shows the developmental aspects of universality, culminating in Tayo's refusal to assimilate himself to whites' lies.

The purpose of this study was to restorate a patient who has a few remaining teeth with #15,23,24 supported Konus telescope denture in Maxillar and #44,43,33,34 supported Dolder bar retained overdenture in Mandible. Konus telescope and bar retained overdenture was taken better results in retention, support, stability compair with regular Removable partial denture. In Removable partial denture, the change of remaining teeth and edentulous ridge is natural. But Konus telescope and bar retained overdenture is a little effected in this change, so it is possiblble in long-term use. In cosider of patient's medical history and the possibility of additional tooth loss, Konus telescope denture can be easily repaired. Compaired with Konus telescope and bar retained overdenture showed high stability and easy cleansing because of rigid support, cross - arch splinting, and simple design. In delivery, patient had a difficulty with removal of denture and plaque control, but showed better condition, good oral hygienic care. Patient satisfied with denture functionally and esthetically. This study showed Konus telescope and bar retained overdenture was effective for treatment of patient remaing a few teeth in function, esthetic and psycologic satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to explore and describe the experiences of postpartal woman, Korean postpatal care that Korean women experience afterbirth, to find the meaning of their lived experiences and to contribute to the base Korean maternal nursing. The method is to phenomenological through participant in depth interview. The subjects of this study were 8 women who are 1 week to less or over 100 days afterbirth. Their age rang from 22 to 33. All available data was collected from 26th of March 1988 to 10 of July 1998. A tape recorder was used with the permission of the subjects to prevent the loss of spoken information. The analysis of the data was made through Colaizzi's. The result of the study was as follow: There were eleven themes and 8 structures, Structure 1 : Acceptance to the traditional Sanhujori, Structure 2 : Powerlessness, Structure 3 : Disappointment and Being sorry, Structure 4 : Attachment as mother, Structure 5 : Anxiety on bring up, Structure 6 : Praying the well being of baby. Structure 7 : Negative body image 8 : Information seeking, Structure. In conclusion, nurses have to help Korean women afterbirth who are in difficulties physically, emotionally, socio-psychologically as direct caregivers and educators. As continually finding out the Korean postpartal care. Sanhujori, we can build the our original maternal nursing.

To observe the healing process of the gingival wound in diabetic condition, the author induced diabetes mellitus by intravascular injection of streptozotocin in rat tail vein and made fresh wound in rat mandibular posterior gingiva using scalpel. The healing processes of gingival wound were examined periodically by light microscopy. The results were as follows. 1) The healing was completed at second week in control group, but it delayed until fourth week in experimental group and the organization was persisted for first two weeks. 2) The inflamed gingiva of dibetic rat demonstrated scanty polymorphonuclear lerkocytic infiltration at the early stage of experiment, but it soon became numerous as in cotrol group and the lymphocytic infiltrations were same degree as in control group. 3) The tissue destruction was broader in the experimental group than in the control group. The epithelization was began at the early stage of healing and the epithelial attachment was reformed with the completion of the wound healing. 4) Loss of Sharpey's fibers and destruction of cementum and alveolar bone were observed with the inflammatroy reaction, but these were reformed with the completion of the wound healing.

A dolescence can be defined as the period between pubescence and physical maturity, and the passage through adolescence(age of 12-19) forms a critical period. Major developmental tasks of adolescence are construction of an emancipated identity, realistic ambitions, and reasonable ideals, and the further development of sexual and social identities. In early adolescence one struggles to adjust psychologically to the spurt in growth and tensions filled with sexual and aggressive impulses. There are reshuffling of peer groups due to differing rates of maturation, early adolescence crushes, sublimation of sexuality, and the resurgence of oedipal feelings. One reaches so-called period of formal operations in cognitive development. In mid-adolescence one struggles to overcome family attachments and controls, and it is a time marked by revolt and conformity. One has to overcome sexual repression while caught in reactivation of oedipal attachment. Peer groups gains in importance, and the peer group changes into a youth group that carries the youth culture. Late adolescence is a period of achieving an ego identity and capacities for intimacy. One has to prevent premature closure : Identity foreclosure limits both opportunity and the ability to guide one's own life. Gradually adolescent begins to have a loss self-centered and narcissistic orientation to one's sexual and affectional needs, and becomes involved in love relationship.

Purpose: The aim of this clinical trial was to explore the impact of intentional passive eruption (IPE) using occlusal reduction on the periodontal parameters of teeth with moderate chronic periodontitis and traumatic occlusion. Methods: This study was performed on 40 teeth from 16 subjects. At baseline, 4 weeks after initial periodontal treatment, and 6 months after IPE, clinical and radiographic examinations were performed. The 20 teeth in the test group underwent IPE using occlusal reduction, whereas the 20 control teeth did not undergone occlusal reduction. Results: All the periodontal parameters were improved by the initial periodontal treatment. The teeth in the test group showed a significantly greater decrease in pocket depth, tooth mobility, and marginal bone loss than did the control group (P<0.05), but there were no significant changes in the attachment level. Significantly greater improvements in all the parameters were observed in the test group after 6 months of IPE compared to 4 weeks after the initial periodontal treatment (P<0.05). Conclusions: Within the limits of this study, performing initial periodontal therapy combined with IPE using occlusal reduction was shown to be very simple and effective. Moreover, IPE would be helpful in improving periodontal parameters.
