  • 최근 경제의 불확실성이 커지면서 매출 확대를 기대하기 힘든 상황에서 운영비용을 줄이기는 쉽지 않은 상황이다. 저비용으로 서비스 수준을 올려 시장에서의 경쟁우의를 지켜야 하는 물류센터 입장에서는 저렴한 비용으로 서비스 수준을 획기적으로 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 KPI (Key Performance Indicator) 분석을 통해 물류운영시스템 전체 프로세스를 대상으로 효율적인 물류 운영을 하고 있는지를 판단하고, 성과지표를 중심으로 고객만족도를 높일 수 있도록 각 항목을 설정하여 측정하고 개선해야 함을 시사하고 있다.

서비스수준을 고려한 GIS기반의 차량 운송시스템 (Design of a GIS-Based Distribution System with Service Consideration)

  • This paper is concerned with the development of a GIS-based distribution system with service consideration. The proposed model could be used for a wide range of logistics applications in planning, engineering and operational purpose for logistics system. This research addresses the formulation of those complex prob1ems of two-echelon logistics system to plan the incorporating supply center locations and distribution problems based on GIS. We propose an integrated logistics model for determining the optimal patterns of supply centers and inventory allocations (customers) with a three-step sequential approach. 1) First step, Developing GIS-distance model and stochastic set-covering program to determine Optimel pattern of supply center location. 2) Second step, Optimal sector-clustering to support customers. 3) Third step, Optimal vehicle rouse scheduling based on GIS, GIS-VRP In this research we developed GUI-tree program, the GIS-VRP provide the vehicle to users and freight information in real time. We applied a set of sample examples to this model and demonstrated samp1e results. It has been found that the proposed model is potentially efficient and useful in solving multi-depot problem through examples. However the proposed model can provide logistics decision makers to get the best supply schedule.

A Study on Improving the Efficiency of Logistics Networks in Express Package Deliveries

  • The market competition of express package deliveries in Korea is severe because a large number of companies have entered into the market. This study thus suggests an approach to the reconfiguration of express service networks with respect to the strategy partnership of closing/keeping service centers among companies involved and the adjustments of their cutoff times. For this we propose an integer programming model and a genetic algorithm based solution procedure for allowing companies involved to maximize their incremental profit. An illustrative numerical example is presented to demonstrate the practicality and efficiency of the proposed model.

우편운송망에서의 운송편 관리를 위한 교환/집중국망 상시조정시스템 개발 (Development of a Transportation Planning System for the Mail Transportation Network)

  • In this paper, we develop a transportation planning system for the mail transportation network, which consists of 25 mail centers and one mail exchange center. The main functions of the system are adjustment of transportation plan, creation of new transportation plan, and calculation of expected exchange mail volume which are transported through mail exchange center. We develop an adjusting algorithm which gives a new transportation plan by deleting, adding or changing the current routes. The algorithm based on the transportation results of current transportation plan and mail volume data. We design and implement a planning system by installing the algorithm as the planning engine. For the practical use, the system is connected to the information system of Korea Post, PostNet.

역물류 네트워크를 위한 확장된 복수 Weber 문제의 GRASP 해법 (A GRASP heuristics for Expanded multi-source Weber problem on Reverse Logistics Network)

  • Expanded muti-source Weber problem (EWP), which introduced in this paper, is a reverse logistics network design problem to minimize the total transportation cost from customers thorough regional center to central center. Decision factor of EWP are the locations of regional centers and a central center. We introduce a GRASP heuristics for the EWP. In the suggested GRASP, an expanded iterative location allocation method (EILA) is introduced based on the Cooper's iterative location allocation method[3]. For the initial solution of GRASP, allocation first seed (AFSeed) and location first seed (LFSeed) are developed. The computational experiment for the objective value shows that the LFSeed is better than the AFSeed. Also the calculating time of the LFSeed is better than that of the AFSeed.

  • This study shows the reduction effect of freight volume by the supply chain redesign for the alliance of distributors with system dynamics simulation. The as-is model is composed of 3 independent companies which one has 3 distribution centers (DCS) and 24 agents, another has 1 dc and 9 agents, the other has 3 DCS and 15 agents each. The to-be model is an integrated logistics model and composed of 1 company having 5 areal DCS and 38 agents. Each agent in the same area is integrated with each other. Two models have same demands but very different result. As a result, the freight volume between DCS and agents is reduced by 33.55%. This case study will be useful to analyze the similar cases about the logistics integration by supply chain redesign.

  • Logistics network of the enterprise is defined to determine the optimal node and link considering the production, inventory and transportation based on the demand forecasting. This study consider the optimal logistics network of A painter company which maintain the existing transportation network and plan to relocate its plants and build new distribution centers. For this, we design possible alternative scenarios and install the simulation models for analysis of each scenario. The result of simulation will help the proper logistic network and determining the size of distribution center further.

일반거리산정방법을 이용한 다-물류센터의 최적 수송경로 계획 모델 (A Vehicle Routing Model for Multi-Supply Centers Based on Lp-Distance)

  • This study is focussed on an optimal vehicle routing model for multi-supply centers in two-echelon logistic system. The aim of this study is to deliver goods for demand sites with optimal decision. This study investigated an integrated model using step-by-step approach based on relationship that exists between the inventory allocation and vehicle routing with restricted amount of inventory and transportations such as the capability of supply centers, vehicle capacity and transportation parameters. Three sub-models are developed: 1) sector-clustering model, 2) a vehicle-routing model based on clustering and a heuristic algorithm, and 3) a vehicle route scheduling model using TSP-solver based on genetic and branch-and-bound algorithm. Also, we have developed computer programs for each sub-models and user interface with visualization for major inputs and outputs. The application and superior performance of the proposed model are demonstrated by several sample runs for the inventory-allocation and vehicle routing problems.

수산물 산지종합처리장 부지선정 모형 개발 및 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Site Selection Model of Marine Products Centers)

  • Recently increasing amount of efforts has been devoted to the improvement of logistics in the marine products industry. Yet, few studios have been conducted on the development of site selection models of marine products centers. This paper Proposes a systematic assessment model for the decision making, which is composed of a set of evaluation criteria and an appropriate evaluation method. In choosing criteria we consider completeness and comprehensiveness to reach a right solution. For more flexibility of the model in the future, this study proposes two sets of criteria according to the size of planned centers. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is adopted in this study, since the criteria incorporate both subjective factors and objective factors and the AHP is known effective in the situation. This study then illustrates the model application with plausible alternatives. Finally, a dependency problem in the decision criteria is discussed and the Analytic Network Process (ANP) is recommended, in the context, as e solution method.

  • 물류부분의 전문 인력에게는 시스템적인 사고와 끊임없는 혁신, 미지 분야의 개척이 요구되고 있다. 물류체계의 효율성을 제고하기 위해 계획 실행, 통제할 수 있는 전문 인력의 육성과 이를 위한 교육이 효과적으로 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 물류분야 인적자원 개발의 중요성을 인식하고, 우리나라의 물류분야 인적자원 개발의 실태를 평가하고, 향후 물류분야 경쟁력 제고를 위한 인적자원 개발의 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 기업핵심부문 의 활동과의 연계선상에서 물류이해를 심화시키는 교과목의 부족과 영어, 중국어 등 국제물류활동에 반드시 필요한 외국어실무능력에 대한 교육시스템의 부족을 주요 문제점으로 들었다. 실질적인 교과목의 편성에 대한 사회의 요구에 따라 학생들의 기업파견을 실시하나, 고용주와 학생들의 시각차에 의한 불만족과 소기의 성과를 거둘 수 없음을 지적하고 있다. 이러한 실무 경험 프로그램의 성과를 거두기 위해서는 학생, 고용주 그리고 대학간의 실무경험에 대한 시각차를 줄일 필요가 있음을 지적하였다.
