도로교통소음 예측식의 개발 (Development of a Simulation Software of Traffic Noise)

  • Before building houses or apartments, we need to predict noise propagation to eliminate possible noise problems to residents. However, we do not try to predict noise propagation during estimation of noise effect for the developing area since we did not have a good mathematical model to predict noise level due to a traffic noise. In this article, an adequate mathematical model has been developed and proved to predict noise effect to living area due to a traffic noise.

  • Recently, the interests about noises have increased with the rapid development of our living environment Until now the estimation methods to sounds have used the equivalent levels. The sensitivities of human beings aren't considered in these methods. It's a situation to need new estimation methods for environmental noises. They must be analyzed by the characteristics of sounds before making the noise regulations newly. In this study, the noises were measured around our living environment And the frequency analysis, Sound Quality Metrics, the cluster analysis and so on are used to classify the environmental noises.

  • Noise level and Airflow amount of a kitchen hood are affected by the conditions of airflow path. Thus this study is expected to be used as a basic reference in designing airflow path of apartment housing throughout analysing changes in noise level and airflow amount from the various conditions of airflow path. Noise level generated by the kitchen hood is estimated in a kitchen and a living room of two constructed apartment houses, and an experiment is conducted in an half anechoic chamber to analyze noise level and airflow amount by the different length, diameter and number of windings of a round shaped soft duct which is connected to the kitchen hood. The measured results in apartment houses show that the noise level in both apartments exceeds the NC standard greatly in living spaces. In apartment A, a regular apartment house, the noise level was $NC-65{\sim}75$, $NC-45{\sim}60$ and NC-70, NC-45 in the kitchen and living room with an operation of kitchen hood in 1 and 3 stages. In apartment B, an apartment complex, the noise level was NC-55 and NC-60 in the kitchen and living room with an operation of kitchen hood in 3 stages. In particular, there was an increase of noise level at 125Hz-band resulted from an amplification of sound, which requires adequate measures in noise reduction. The results measured in Half anechoic chamber show 99% of airflow amount increase with the modification of a duct' s diameter from ${\Phi}$ 100mm to ${\Phi}$ 125mm, 37% of airflow amount increase with the modification of a duct' s diameter from ${\Phi}$ 125mm to ${\Phi}$ 150mm, and 173% of airflow amount increase with the modification of a duct' s diameter from ${\Phi}$ l00mm to ${\Phi}$ 150mm. The noise level was lower than the level measured in apartment housing about 20 in NC-value and 11.4 in dB(A)-value, which was interpreted as the effect of the load by the pressure condition at the rear end of the duct. Also, an amplification of sound in 125Hz-band influenced NC-value considerably, therefore effective measure is needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose indoor noise level in residential buildings affected by transportation noise (road traffic, railway and air-craft noise) based on subjective evaluations. 30 subjects participated in the experiment to evaluate the noise.   • Recently, Cooling tower are used the necessary element in a residential area and living space on the viewpoint of indoor temperature control. The purpose of this study is to assistance the comfortable environment and economical measures of noise transmission mechanism on tile cooling tower. The results show that noise evaluation interact the main factor of distance reduction and diffraction reduction. Noise criterion apply to the NC level and equivalent transmission loss about already the design of noise reduction.

승조원의 만족도를 고려한 함정의 함내소음 기준 분석 (Study of the Indoor Noise Limit for Naval Vessels Considering the Satisfaction of the Crew)

  • The indoor noise of the naval vessel is very important considering hearing protection, improvement of working environment and easily communication between crews. When the environment of the naval vessel suffering from the noise is considered, it is very important to be quiet in the living area where the crews have a rest sufficiently. In addition, the noise of the working area should be reduced in order to increase working efficiency. Therefore, in this research, the satisfactions about the indoor noise are survey for crews working in a naval vessel. Through this survey, the relationship between the indoor noise and crew's satisfaction about it can be found. As a result, the limit of sound pressure level which almost all crew can be satisfied with the indoor noise about their living and working area is suggested base on the survey in this research.

  • 본 연구는 산업폐기물인 폐·하수슬러지등의 부산물과 점토등으로 환경오염을 줄이면서 소음방지제로 사용할 수 있는 흡음력이 우수한 다공질의 인공경량골재를 개발하였다. 또한, 이 소재를 레미콘에 일정량을 배합하여 강도와 홉음력을 비교, 시험하는 등 일반의 콘크리트와 배합하여 사용하여도 문제성이 없는지를 검정하고, 소음전도차단 안전설계로 기존의 시공방법과의 소음 전도성 등을 비교 분석해 보았다. 본 연구의 실험결과는 개발한 인공골재와 소음저감 안전설계가 쾌적하고 정온한 주거문화를 창달하기 위한 소음 저감 방법과 생활소음기준 설정에 상당한 기여를 할 것이다.

주거단지 입지특성에 따른 소음환경 실태조사 - 도로변 아파트단지를 대상으로 - (A field survey on the noise environment of apartment according to site location)

  • The increase of road traffic niose in residential area has been considered to be a serious environmental problem to deteriorate a living condition. The understanding of noise environment in multiple family housing is needed for noise reduction. This study attempts to find out the characteristics of noise environment. For this purpose, the field survey has been carried out to investigate the noise environment(sound level, quality of sound) and the residents' responses(noiseness, annoyance) for noise environment based on 173 households living in 3 apartment compounds built in Pusan according to site location. The major findings are as follows : 1. The sound levels by road traffic noise were measured by dB(A) and dB(Lin). The sound levels were : 77.0dB(A), 86.6dB(Lin) in D-Apt, 73.3dB(A), 82.6dB(Lin) in K-Apt, and 59.1dB(A), 74.6dB(Lin) in M-Apt. Especially, the difference between dB(A) and dB(Lin) was very big in the cae of M-Apt with a barriers for traffic noise reduction. 2. The internal sound levels were shown the soudn attenuation by horizontal distance and by opening or shuting condition of windows.

Raynoise를 이용한 철도소음의 예측에 관한 연구 - 예측식과 Raynoise모델링의 비교 - (A Study on Prediction of Railway Noise Using Raynoise Modeling - A comparison of predicting expressions and Raynoise simulations -)

  • With the rapid industrial development, railways have become a main traffic means of transportation. However, rail traffic noise and vibration have become a major problem in urban areas which is a very serious issue for the living environment. Especially, railway noise induced by rail operations has influenced on the residents living near railway tracks. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Raynoise modeling in railway applications. Generally, my acoustics have been used to investigate the effectiveness of noise barriers in railway applications and barriers are modeled using the commercial software Raynoise. A-weighted sound pressure level have been measured at six locations, 4m from the track and are compared with experimental values. Based on the analysis of the results, Comparison between numerical and experimental values are within 1dB (A). Also, when a train is m through the Raynoise modeling, the general influential sphere of railway noise can be determined. Therefore, this study will be using basic data in establishing effective railway noise prevention plans far the future. Also, we could know that is applicable of Raynoise modeling at railway noise.

공동주택 내부 공간의 잔향시간 특성 조사 연구 (A Study on the Reverberation Time Characteristics of Inside Space of Apartment Buildings)

  • In this study, the reverberation time of apartment living room was measured and distribution of the reverberation time was analyzed. In addition, sound field characteristics of mock-up test room similar with living room and timber structured bedroom was investigated with addition of furniture and sound absorption material. Average reverberation time of unfurnished apartment unit was 1.11 s, and reverberation time in 630 Hz~2000 Hz bands were longer than 1.2 s. It was found that from the field measurement results, reverberation time characteristic of furnished apartment living room was uniform in most of frequency bands. Averaged reverberation time of furnished living room was 0.48 s and the reverberation time of bedroom was 0.44 s. Standardized sound pressure level correction values were calculated from the average reverberation time of furnished and unfurnished apartment units. The correction value of unfurnished living room was −3.4 dB and that of furnished living room was 0.2 dB. Measured reverberation time of furnished and unfurnished apartment units indicated that reference reverberation time; 0.5 s, in KS and ISO standards is reasonable also in Korean residential environment.
