Ossifying fibroma is a rare benign tumor of the maxilla and the mandible. And its nosology and diagnosis have had many problems. It occurs more common in young adult, especially in female, and there is a predilection for the mandible. The lesion is generally asymptomatic and recurrence is rare after conservative excision. Among ossifying fibroma, juvenile active ossifying fibroma grows rapidly, produces many symptoms, and frequently recurs after conservative excision. Authers experienced a case of juvenile active ossifying fibroma which recurred after two times of conservative surgery, and report is with review of the literatures.

This study analyzed a costume historic meaning of TANGUN Mythology. TANGUN Mythology have been transmitted from many literatures but TANGUN Mythology recorded Samgukyusa(II-Yun) is not false piece or a fiction. A Costume historic meaning of TANGUN Mythology was studied in the clothing system meaning of a headgear worn by nobles in court in the Chun-Boo-In three and meaning of bear and tiger. However results are not clear. In addition the Han stones of Wu Liang Tz'u relates to TANGUN Mythology but results also are not manifest.

Spectral analysis of a strictly stationary r-vector valued time series is considered under the assumption that some of the observations are missed due to some random failure. Statistical properties and asymptotic moments are derived. Asymptotic normality is discussed.

This research reviewed literatures on proof in mathematics education. Several views of proof can be classified (and identified) such as psychological approach (Platonism, empiricism), structural approach (logicism, formalism, intuitionism) and social approach (ontology, axiomatic systems). All these views of proof are valuable in mathematics education society. The concept of proof can be found in the form of analytic knowledge not of constructive knowledge. Human beings developed their knowledge in the sequence of constructive knowledge to analytic knowledge. Therefore, in mathematics education, the curriculum of mathematics should involve the process of cognitive knowledge development.

In this study, an equivalent continuum model for single wall carbon nanotube is proposed. The model links interatomic potentials and atom structure of a materials to a constitutive model on the continuum level. The Young's modulus and shear modulus were predicted by the model. The predictions were in good agreement with the prior experimental results available in the literatures. Also, the strain energy of the carbon nanotube was predicted as a function of the radius of the carbon nanotube.

In this paper, the electromagnetic characteristics of a grounded slab and a parallel-plate structure are analyzed by the Spline-type Divided-Difference Interpolation (SDDI) technique. The technique efficiently evaluates the MoM impedance matrix elements of the multifold spectral or spatial domain integrals or summation in integro differential equations. The numerical results of the proposed method agree well with those of the corresponding literatures.

The review was conducted to organize the desirable salting process from the literatures. In this study the principle of salting and effects of physicochemical changes in salting and salting factors such as cultivars of baechu(Chinese cabbage), concentration of salt, salting temperature, pH condition for salting and quality of kimchi were studied. The method of salting standard, treatment techniques in salting, and selection and mixture ratio of sub-ingredients were also reviewed. In future studies greater attention should be paid to salting and fermentation of kimchi.

In order to determine the proper treatment of the finished landfill, it is important to predict the trend and stability of the major sources of contaminant in the landfill. In this paper the fate of contaminant sources in the landfill is studied from various literatures by grouping the contaminants into waste, leachate, and landfill gas. One example site referred is Nanji landfill which is one of the representative finished landfills in our country and the trend of contaminant sources in this landfill at current stage is discussed.

Human sparganosis caused by Sparganum mansoni, the larval plerocercoid worm of the genus Spirometra, is not uncommon in Korea and is mostly found in subcutaneous or adipose tissue of the abdominal, thoracic wall and inguinal region, but is rarely found in the orbital cavity, brain and breast. It, at present, is a surgical disease because its diagnosis depends almost on the demonstration of the larva[e] from lesion or finding the worm section in surgical pathology specimens. We experienced a case of human sparganosis from a 48 years old woman who had a history of eating a raw frog. We report the case and review the related literatures.
